Chapter 6 of the Quran (117) All Messengers = One Message

This was, and still is, Muhammad’s message to mankind.  This was also the message of all the messengers, sent by Allah, to their people. This was the message of Noah, Hud, Saleh, Abraham, Lot, Ishmael, Isaac, Jacob, Joseph, Shu’aib, Moses, David, Solomon, Elias, Jonah, Jesus,

In the previous article, Submission to Allah was Abraham’s Religion and was the Religion Abraham’ descendants.

Back to the original Abraham and his descendants’ Religion, Ayah 6:162-163 say:

Say O Muhammad, to the Jews, to the Christians and to mankind:

Lo! my worship, my five daily prayers , my rituals, my sacrifice, my devotions, in the way of pilgrimage and otherwise, and my living (my life), and my dying (my death) were all for Allah, the Lord of the Worlds.

In short, my entire life, my entire activities, my entire deeds in this world were for the sake of the obedience and pleasure of Allah; the Master and the King of the entire worlds.

§  He has no partner.

§  He has no wife.

§  He has no son.

§  He has no daughter.

§  He has no equivalent.

§  Nothing is equal or similar to Him.

I am commanded to believe in Him,

I am the first (among my people) of those who submit unto Him

I am the first (among my people) of those who sincerely worship Him and confess His divine Oneness.

Every one of those great Messengers and Prophet clearly conveyed this message unto his people.

Chapter 6 of the Quran (19) the Earthy Life vs. Eternal Paradise

The World average age of a man is around 70 years; But, which is better, the life of this world or the Eternal Paradise? The Quran says: Naught is the life of the world and better far is the abode of the Eternal Paradise.

————————————————————————————-

Which is better, the short limited life of this world or the Eternal Paradise?

In the statistical sense, Life expectancy is the expected number of years of life remaining at a given age.

It is said that a male child born in 2003 is anticipated to live to be age 74.40 years and a female born at the same time is predicted to live to age 79.60 years.

Nevertheless, the World average age of a man is 68 years.

But, What we have done in our entire lives? And Which is better, the life of this world or the Paradise? The Quran answers this question and says:

  • Naught is the life of the world.
  • Better far is the abode of the Paradise.

The Ayah 6:32 says:

Naught is the life of the world.

The life of this world, that is, preoccupation with it, is nothing but a game and a diversion.

The comfort and enjoyment of the life of the world is nothing.

The activities of men during their lives e.g. pastime, amusement and a sport were but worthless activities.

Better far is the abode of the Hereafter

while the abode of the Hereafter namely, Paradise, is better for those who keep their duty to Allah and ward off disbelief, idolatry and indecencies.

Do you not comprehend that this world is evanescent and that the Paradise is everlasting?

Do not you understand that and so believe?

The verse 6:32-33 in different translations

QARIB:

32) the life of this world is but playing and an amusement. surely, the everlasting home is better for the cautious. will you not understand ?

33) we know what they say saddens you. it is not you that they belie; but the harmdoers deny the verses of Allah.

SHAKIR:

32) and this world’s life is naught but a play and an idle sport and certainly the abode of the hereafter is better for those who guard (against evil); do you not then understand ?

33) we know indeed that what they say certainly grieves you, but surely they do not call you a liar; but the unjust deny the communications of Allah

PICKTHAL:

32) Naught is the life of the world save a pastime and a spot. Better far is the abode of the hereafter for those who keep their duty (to Allah). have ye then no sense?

33) we know well how their talk grieveth thee, though in truth they deny not thee (muhammad) but evil-doers flout the revelations of Allah.

YUSUFALI:

32) what is the life of this world but play and amusement? but best is the home in the hereafter, for those who were righteous. will ye not then understand ?

33) we know indeed the grief which their words do cause thee: it is not thee they reject: it is the signs of Allah, which the wicked contemn.
