In Bible vs. Quran, Jesus denied that He is God (15) His Prophecy about the Christians

In the Bible, the lord Jesus plainly determines the bad outcome of those who believe that He is God with emphasis on the Christian Scholars.

Also, the Quran determines the outcome of those who believe that they are doing well although they are the losers.

In the verses Matthew 7:21-23, the lord Jesus plainly determines the outcome of those who believe that He is God.

He says: “Not everyone who says to Me, Lord, Lord, will enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of My Father Who is in heaven. Many will say to me on the Judgment Day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in your name and driven out demons in your name and done many miracles in your name? Then I will tell them plainly, ‘I never knew you. Go away from me, you evildoers”

These beautiful verses indicate that:

1. Jesus denies anyone who believes that He is God.

2. Jesus finds guilty those who believe that He is God and they use His name to preach, to cast out devils and to do miracles. Jesus gives them some names like evildoers, wrong doers, workers of lawlessness, evil people etc.

Now, let us ask this simple question:

To who has Jesus addressed this saying?

Has He addressed it to the Jews, to the Christians or to the Muslims?

He certainly addressed it to the Christians only because the Jews basically deny Jesus and the Muslims believe that Jesus is but a messenger; He is neither God nor the son of God. The Muslims say the lord Moses and the lord Jesus to show respect and love to Allah’s messengers. Also, the Muslims do their acts in the name of Allah and never ever in the name of the lord Jesus.

It follows that Jesus addressed his above saying to the entire Christians which are classified into the normal ones and the scholars. The normal ones believe that Jesus is God or the son of God but they do not use his name to do miracles.

The scholars like the priests of course believe that Jesus is God or the son of God and they use the name of Jesus to do miracles.

The Lord Jesus strongly warned the priests and denied them and gave them names.

On the Judgment Day, Jesus will tell them plainly, ‘I never knew you. Go away from me, you evildoers:

In the verses 18:103-104, the Quran describes this kind of people who believe that they are doing well although they are the losers

The verses 18:103-104 according to Pickthal translation say:

103) say: shall we inform you who will be the greatest losers by their works?

104) those whose effort goeth astray in the life of the world, and yet they reckon that they do good work.

Appendix:

Speaking about the scholars who think that they do good works, herein is an example to show you how they Forged the Word of their LORD Jesus!

Study of 15 Bible’s versions (e.g., 21st Century King James Version, American Standard Version etc.) shows that all of them but one say (with little differences between them):

21 “Not every one that saith unto Me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ shall enter into the Kingdom of Heaven, but he that doeth the will of My Father who is in Heaven.

22 Many will say to Me in that Day, ‘Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in Thy name, and in Thy name have cast out devils (demons), and in Thy name done many wonderful (mighty) works?’

23 And then will I profess unto them, ‘I never knew you: depart from Me, ye that work iniquity.’

Now, read and compare the above with what the editors of this version says:

21-23 “Knowing the correct password—saying ‘Master, Master,’ for instance—isn’t going to get you anywhere with me. What is required is serious obedience—doing what my Father wills. I can see it now—at the Final Judgment thousands strutting up to me and saying, ‘Master, we preached the Message, we bashed the demons, our God-sponsored projects had everyone talking.’ And do you know what I am going to say? ‘You missed the boat. All you did was use me to make yourselves important. You don’t impress me one bit. You’re out of here.’ (The Message)
