Death in Quran (1) Death = Creature

The Quran is the first book on the face of the earth, which says that Death is but a creature. However, why has Allah created death?

—————————————

Interestingly, the verses 67:1-2 which say Death is created begin with “Blessed is Allah”

Blessed is Allah the exalted and transcendent above the attributes of created beings.

What do we mean when we bless the name of Allah?

We mean that we recognize and proclaim His beneficence to us.

In Allah’s hand and at His disposal, is

  • All Sovereignty,
  • All grace
  • All Authority and
  • All Power to bestow might and abasement, and
  • All Power over the stores of all things

Allah has power over all things.

He is too holy to have children or partners

He is Able to do all that He wills

Allah is Lord of both visible and invisible worlds.

Allah Created Death and Life.

One of the results of Allah’s complete dominion of the universe and absolute power over all things is that He created death and life.

Herein, the Quran puts Death before Life,

Death is therefore not merely a negative state.

Death, then, is

  • The state before life began, which may be nonexistence or existence in some other form:
  • The state in which Life as we know it ceases, but existence does not cease
  • The state of Barrier or Partition, after our visible Death and before Judgment; after that will be the new Life, which we conceive of under the term Eternity.

Why has Allah created death?

Allah created death and life that He may

  • Try you between life and death,
  • Test you in this life,

To see which of you is

  • Best in conduct,
  • Most obedient to Him
  • More sincere in works

Thus, man should always be on the alert, considering every thought and every action.

When a person’s heart is alert, aware that this life is a test, and tries to keep on the right track, he is reassured of God’s forgiveness and grace. This gives man all the rest and comfort he needs.

Allah is

  • the Mighty in retribution against those who disbelieve in Him
  • The Mighty in His vengeance against those who disobey Him,
  • The Forgiving to those who repent to Him;
  • He forgives those who repent and believe in Him.

He is the Mighty in retribution against those who disbelieve in Him, (Forgiving) He forgives those who repent and believe in Him,

Creation, therefore, is not in mere game, or without a purpose with reference to man. The state before our present life, or the state after, we can scarcely understand. But our present Life is clearly given to enable us to strive by good deeds to reach a nobler state.

Allah is so Exalted in Might that He can perfectly carry out His Will and Purpose, and that Purpose is Love, Mercy, and Goodness to His creatures.

The truth Islam establishes in people’s hearts does not depict God as chasing humans to afflict or punish them.

Allah wants them to be aware of the purpose behind their existence and of their true nature. Allah wants them to rise to the level worthy of His honor when He blew of His own spirit into them, elevating them above many of His other creations.

When the believers have absorbed this truth and hold to it, they will find that His grace, mercy and forgiveness are always available to them.

The verses 67:1-2 in different translations:

QARIB:

1-Blessed be he in whose hand is the kingdom, he is powerful over all things,

2-Who created death and life that he might examine which of you is best in deeds, and he is the almighty, the forgiving,

SHAKIR:

1-Blessed is he in whose hand is the kingdom, and he has power over all things,

2-Who created death and life that he may try you– which of you is best in deeds; and he is the mighty, the forgiving,

PICKTHAL:

1-Blessed is he in whose hand is the sovereignty, and, he is able to do all things.

2-Who hath created life and death that he may try you which of you is best in conduct; and he is the mighty, the forgiving,

YUSUFALI:

1-Blessed be he in whose hands is dominion; and he over all things hath power;-

2-He who created death and life, that he may try which of you is best in deed: and he is the exalted in might, oft-forgiving;-

Atheists in Quran (23) Allah has no need of them

If you disbelieve, Allah has no need of you; however, be aware that the ultimate end of your journey is to Allah. There can be neither escape from Him nor refuge with anyone else. You can hide nothing from Him.

———————————

The verse 39:7 declares some basic but essential facts To Whom It May Concern

The verse talks about:

  • What if you disbelieve
  • What if you believe
  • Will you bear the sins of another one
  • What is your ultimate end?

What will happen if you disbelieve or if you believe?

If you disbelieve, Allah has no need of you; nor is He pleased with your disbelief

If you believe and give thanks, Allah is pleased with you.

If you disbelieve in Muhammad and in the Quran and you are thankless, Allah is Independent of you. Allah is not in need of your faith, though:

  • He is not pleased with thanklessness for His bondmen
  • He is not pleased with disbelief in Muhammad and in the Quran, because disbelief is not His religion

If you are ungrateful, indeed Allah is Independent of you, though He does not approve of ungratefulness for His servants

If you believe and give thanks, to Allah, He is pleased therewith for you He will approve such thankfulness, for you and accept it from you because that is His religion.

If you believe, you will not increase His kingdom in any way. If you disbelieve, this too will not affect His kingdom in any adverse way. He, however, does not like people to disbelieve.

By contrast, “lf you give thanks, He is pleased with you.” He will accept this from you and reward you generously for it.

Will you bear the sins of another one?

No burdened soul shall bear the burden of another soul, in other words, it will not bear the responsibility for it.

No laden soul will bear another’s load

No soul will bear the sins of another;

No soul will be taken to task for the sins of another soul, for each soul will be taken to task for its own sins;

Allah will not punish any soul for no crime.

Everyone is accountable for his or her own deeds, and none will be held responsible for another one, nor will he be allowed to take upon himself part of another’s burden

What is your ultimate end?

Then to your Lord will be your return, whereat He will inform you of what you used to do.

Unto Allah, your Lord is your return after death; then He will tell you on the Day of Judgment what you used to do and what you used to say in the life of this world.

Indeed, Allah is Knower of what is in the breasts of men of good and evil, Allah is Knower of what is in the hearts of men.

In conclusion, the ultimate end of your journey is to Allah. There can be neither escape from Him nor refuge with anyone else. You can hide nothing from Him

———————————

The verse 39:7 in different translations:

QARIB:

If you disbelieve, Allah is rich, independent of you. yet he does not approve of disbelief to his worshipers, but if you believe he will approve it in you. no laden soul shall bear another’s load. then, to Allah you shall return and he will tell to you what you have done. he knows the innermost of your chests.

SHAKIR:

If you are ungrateful, then surely Allah is self-sufficient above all need of you; and he does not like ungratefulness in his servants; and if you are grateful, he likes it in you; and no bearer of burden shall bear the burden of another; then to your Lord is your return, then will he inform you of what you did; surely he is cognizant of what is in the breasts

PICKTHAL:

If ye are thankless, yet Allah is independent of you, though he is not pleased with thanklessness for his bondmen; and if ye are thankful he is pleased therewith for you. no laden soul will bear another’s load. then unto your Lord is your return; and he will tell you what ye used to do. lo! he knoweth what is in the breasts (of men).

YUSUFALI:

If ye reject (Allah), truly Allah hath no need of you; but he liketh not ingratitude from his servants: if ye are grateful, he is pleased with you. no bearer of burdens can bear the burden of another. in the end, to your Lord is your return, when he will tell you the truth of all that ye did (in this life). for he knoweth well all that is in (men’s) hearts.

The Donkey in Bible vs. Quran vs. Science – A

In the Bible, God commands to kill the donkeys especially the firstborn one. In addition, the Bible says that 1) Egyptian’s genitals are like those of donkeys, 2) the Donkey has to keep the Sabbath 3) A donkey spoke with a man’s voice! 4) Samson killed a thousand men with a jawbone of a donkey etc.
—————————————–
Upon talking about the Donkey, the Bible give a dozen of interesting issues and says:
1) Kill men and women, children and infants, and donkeys, etc…
2) “Ishmael” will be a wild donkey of a man.
3) Either Redeem or Kill the firstborn donkey.
4) Do not “covet” your neighbor’s wife or donkey.
5) You and your Donkey have to keep the Sabbath.
6) How do you deal with the donkey, and the fools?
7) Drag away and throw outside the dead donkey.
8) The donkey knows his owner’s manger, but Israel does not know
9) The Egyptian’s genitals are like those of donkeys!
10) Samson killed a thousand men with a jawbone of a donkey!
11) O, they (Israelites) destroyed with the sword every living thing.
12) Go and destroy everything. Do not spare them.
—————————————–
The Bible mentions the donkey 142 times and the Quran mentions the donkey four times, i.e., the Bible cites the donkey 35 times more than the Quran does.
Furthermore, the total words of the Bible are 788,280 while the total words of the Quran are 77,473. It follows that, the Bible has the likely of more than 10 times than the Quran to talk about the donkey.
In addition, the Bible has the prospective of more than 35 times than the Quran to tell us about the donkey.
—————————————–
The Donkey in the Bible:
Kill every living creature. Do not spare any:
They destroyed with the sword every living thing in it—men and women, young and old, donkeys, etc…
Go and destroy everything. Do not spare them; put to death men and women, children and infants, donkeys, etc…
Kill men and women, children and infants, and donkeys, etc…
Joshua 6:21
“They devoted the city to the LORD and destroyed with the sword every living thing in it—men and women, young and old, cattle, sheep and donkeys.”
1 Samuel 15:3
“Now go, attack the Amalekites and totally destroy everything that belongs to them. Do not spare them; put to death men and women, children and infants, cattle and sheep, camels and donkeys.’ “
1 Samuel 22:19
“He also put to the sword Nob, the town of the priests, with its men and women, its children and infants, and its cattle, donkeys and sheep.”
1 Samuel 27:9
“Whenever David attacked an area, he did not leave a man or woman alive, but took sheep and cattle, donkeys and camels, and clothes. Then he returned to Achish”.

The Bible says that “Ishmael” will be a wild donkey of a man and sets on the root of Arabs-Jews conflict and intolerance.
Genesis 16:12
“He (Ishmael) will be a wild donkey of a man; his hand will be against everyone and everyone’s hand against him, and he will live in hostility toward all his brothers.”
One may think about why Moses wrote in Genesis that His Uncle “Ishmael” would be a wild donkey of a man. Is it polite to say that about His Uncle? Is not that a race-discrimination? Is not very shameful to say that Isaac’s brother is a donkey? Is not Isaac the grandfather of the Lord Jesus?
Although this nasty Biblical claims sets on the root of Arabs-Jews conflict and intolerance; however, it does not hurt the two great Prophet Ishmael and Isaac.

Either Redeem or Kill the firstborn donkey.
One has to redeem every firstborn donkey with a lamb; but if he does not, he has to break its neck. Either way, there should be blood of the lamb or the donkey!
Exodus 13:13
“Redeem with a lamb every firstborn donkey, but if you do not redeem it, break its neck.”
Exodus 34:20
“Redeem the firstborn donkey with a lamb, but if you do not redeem it, break its neck.”

In addition, there is a prophecy about the ox and donkey:
Deuteronomy 28:31
“Your ox will be slaughtered before your eyes, but you will eat none of it. Your donkey will be forcibly taken from you and will not be returned. Your sheep will be given to your enemies, and no one will rescue them.”

Do not “covet” your neighbor’s wife or donkey.
Exodus 20:17
“You shall not covet your neighbor’s house. You shall not covet your neighbor’s wife, or his manservant or maidservant, his ox or donkey, or anything that belongs to your neighbor.”
Deuteronomy 5:21
“You shall not covet your neighbor’s wife. You shall not set your desire on your neighbor’s house or land, his manservant or maidservant, his ox or donkey, or anything that belongs to your neighbor.”

The Donkey has to keep the Sabbath:
You and your Donkey have to keep the Sabbath.
Exodus 23:12
“Six days do your work, but on the seventh day do not work, so that your ox and your donkey may rest and the slave born in your household, and the alien as well, may be refreshed.”
Deuteronomy 5:14
“But the seventh day is a Sabbath to the LORD your God. On it you shall not do any work, neither you, nor your son or daughter, nor your manservant or maidservant, nor your ox, your donkey or any of your animals, nor the alien within your gates, so that your manservant and maidservant may rest, as you do.”

How do you deal with the donkey, and the fools? With a halter and a rod
Proverbs 26:3
“A whip for the horse, a halter for the donkey, and a rod for the backs of fools!”

The donkey knows his owner’s manger, but “Israel” does not know
Isaiah 1:3
“The ox knows his master, the donkey his owner’s manger, but Israel does not know, my people do not understand.”

The donkeys will eat fodder and mash, spread out with fork and shovel.
Isaiah 30:24
“The oxen and donkeys that work the soil will eat fodder and mash, spread out with fork and shovel.”

The policy of burial of a donkey
How do you burry your donkey? Drag away and throw outside.
Jeremiah 22:19
“He will have the burial of a donkey— dragged away and thrown outside the gates of Jerusalem.”

The Egyptian’s genitals are like those of donkeys and their emission (semen) is like that of horses. Wow!
Being an Egyptian, I do not know if I should be proud or insulted because of this anatomical and biological verse!
However, this verse may be interested to those who are looking for outstanding genitals!
Ezekiel 23:20
“There she lusted after her lovers, whose genitals were like those of donkeys and whose emission was like that of horses.”

This following verse talks about a man who will eat grass like cattle.
However, the man’s stomach is not like that of cattle.
Scientifically speaking, Man cannot utilize and metabolize grass
Daniel 5:21
“He was driven away from people and given the mind of an animal; he lived with the wild donkeys and ate grass like cattle; and his body was drenched with the dew of heaven, until he acknowledged that the Most High God is sovereign over the kingdoms of men and sets over them anyone he wishes.”

Believe it or Not!
Unbelievably! The Bible narrates two stories
1) Samson killed a thousand men with a jawbone of a donkey!
Judges 15:15
“Finding a fresh jawbone of a donkey, he grabbed it and struck down a thousand men.”
Judges 15:16
“Then Samson said, “With a donkey’s jawbone I have made donkeys of them. With a donkey’s jawbone I have killed a thousand men.”

2) A donkey spoke with a man’s voice!
2Peter 2:16
“But he was rebuked for his wrongdoing by a donkey—a beast without speech—who spoke with a man’s voice and restrained the prophet’s madness”.

Angels in Islam (21) their second Witness

The Angels whose number is countless bear witness of Muhammad’s prophet hood and of the Quran as being revealed by Allahز

————————————————

The idolaters among the Arabs were confused about Muhammad, they were still suspicious if he is genuine prophet or not!

To make it clear for them, Allah has revealed the verses 4:163-166 that mean:

Lo! We (Allah) inspired you O Muhammad as We inspired Noah and the entire prophets after Noah,

We inspire you O Muhammad as We inspired:

  • Abraham
  • Ishmael
  • Isaac
  • Jacob and the tribes (the sons of Jacob),
  • Jesus
  • Job
  • Jonah
  • Aaron, and
  • Solomon,
  • We gave unto David the Inscribed Book (the Psalms)

We inspired you O Muhammad We inspired messengers which We have not mentioned by name in the Quran.

And Allah spoke directly unto Moses.

It is said that Allah sent eight thousand prophets in total; He sent at least one messenger or prophet to every nation on the face of the earth.

Allah has sent all these messengers:

  • of good cheer, giving the good news of Paradise for those who believe, and
  • of warning of hell for those who disbelieve in Allah,

Allah did that in order that mankind might have no argument on the Day of Judgment against Allah after sending the messengers, such that they cannot say: You have not sent us any messenger.

Allah is ever Mighty in His kingdom. He is ever Wise, in His actions.

Then, the idolaters among the Arabs asked the Jews if Muhammad is a Prophet or not.

The idolaters asked the Jews because the Jews are the people of Allah’ scripture.

When the Jews were asked about Muhammad’s prophet hood and they denied him, although they knew that he is the last prophet, when this happened, the following verse of the Noble Quran has revealed; it means:

But Allah bears witness:

  • of your prophet hood O Muhammad
  • of what He has revealed to you O Muhammad (the Quran), He has revealed it through His knowledge

And also, the entire Angels bear witness.

The entire world of the Angels whose number is countless bear witness too.

This is the second witness of the Angels.

O you smart reader, where you are from this second witness of countless billions of Angels that will lead you to either Paradise or Hell

————————————————

The verses 4:163-166 (PICKTHAL translation):

163) lo! We inspire thee as we inspired Noah and the prophets after him, as we inspired Abraham and Ishmael and Isaac and Jacob and the tribes, and Jesus and Job and Jonah and Aaron and Solomon, and as we imparted unto David the psalms;

164) and messengers we have mentioned unto thee before and messengers we have not mentioned unto thee; and Allah spake directly unto Moses;

165) messengers of good cheer and of warning, in order that mankind might have no argument against Allah after the messengers. Allah was ever mighty, wise.

166) but Allah (himself) testifieth concerning that which he hath revealeth unto thee; in his knowledge hath he revealed it; and the Angels also testify. and Allah is sufficient witness.

Angels in Islam (20) their first Witness

The Angels whose number is countless do bear witness that there is no God save Allah.

—————————-

In the verse 3:18, Allah declared His divine Oneness, saying:

Allah, is witness that there is no God save Him.

Also, the Angels do bear witness that there is no God save Allah.

And those of knowledge, from among the Messengers, the prophets and the believers, do bear witness to there is no God save Allah.

It is Allah who is:

  • The Almighty in His Kingdom and in vengeance against those who do not believe in Him,
  • The Wise in His actions, He has commanded that none shall be worshipped except Him.
  • Constantly and uniquely maintaining his creation with justice

Allah has made it clear to His creation through proofs and signs, that there is no god and none that is truly worshipped in existence, except Him.

The entire Messengers and prophets from Adam, Noah up to the last Prophet Muhammad made it clear to their folks and people that there is no god save Allah, the Almighty and the Wise; and none that is truly worshipped in existence except Him.

Again, who are the witness for all of the above?

1)    Allah

2)    The entire world of the Angels whose number is countless

3)    The entire Messengers and Prophets from Adam, Noah up to Muhammad

4)    The entire believers who obeyed their Messengers and Prophets from Adam, Noah up to Muhammad

See how many billions of witnesses bear witness in the life of this world and will bear witness in the Afterlife that there is no God save Allah.

And, above all of them and before all of them the Almighty Creator, Allah, Himself, is witness that there is no God save Him.

Even if no one else bears witness, Allah is sufficient as a witness!

Now, where you are from this witness?

Where you are from this testimony that will lead to either Paradise or Hell?

—————————-

The verse 3:18 of the Noble Quran in different translations

QARIB:

Allah bears witness that there is no god except he, and so do the Angels and the knowledgeable. He upholds justice there is no god except he, the mighty, the wise.

SHAKIR:

Allah bears witness that there is no god but he, and (so do) the Angels and those possessed of knowledge, maintaining his creation with justice; there is no god but he, the mighty, the wise

PICKTHAL:

Allah (himself) is witness that there is no Allah save him. And the Angels and the men of learning (too are witness), maintaining his creation in justice, there is no Allah save him the almighty, the wise.

YUSUFALI:

There is no god but he: that is the witness of Allah, his Angels, and those endued with knowledge, standing firm on justice. There is no god but he, the exalted in power, the wise.

The loser is the one who fails to attain Allah’s mercy that subsumes all things; and we are things!

In the hereafter, Allah’s mercy is only for those who believe in Him, in the Angels, in the Scriptures (including the Quran), in the Messengers (including Muhammad) and in the Day of Judgment.

Isaiah 29:12 (New American Standard Bible) says:

What Is The First Revealed Word Of The Quran?

It is interested that the first revealed word of the Quran is:” Read”.

The first verse of the Noble Quran says: Read (O Muhammad) in the name of your Who created, all creatures.

How Come That An Illiterate Man Becomes The Most Famous Teacher?

It is very interesting that, since then the illiterate Arabic man, Muhammad, became the teacher and the advisor of mankind; how? Because he was taught by the Creator of the Worlds!

In The Bible: Isaiah prophesizes That The Last Prophet Is An Illiterate Man

Isaiah says: Then the book will be given to the one who is illiterate, saying, “Please read this.” And he will say, “I cannot read.”   In this biblical verse, Isaiah prophesizes that the last Prophet is illiterate (I cannot read).

Allah Gives Life And Makes To Die (Life and Death Recycle)

In the previous article (73)

Moses prayed to Allah and said: prescribe for us, grant us, in this world good and in the Hereafter, good. We have turned, repented, to You’. He, Allah, says: ‘My chastisement, I smite with it whom I will, to chastise, and My mercy embraces, subsumes, all things, in this world, and so I shall prescribe it, in the Hereafter, for those who are God-fearing and pay the alms, and those who believe in Our signs;

One of the important issue is that Satan seized this opportunity and said: “I am of the things and Allah’s mercy embraces all things ” ,

But Allah excluded him from this by saying: therefore I shall ordain it (My Mercy) for those who ward off evil disbelief, idolatry and indecencies and pay the poor-due and give from their wealth what is due to the poor, and those who believe Our revelations, believe in Our Scripture and Messenger. The people of the Book seized this opportunity and said: “we are the people of God-fearing ness and Scripture ” , but Allah excluded them from this and explained to whom this mercy is ordained, saying: (see the next article).

———————–

The meaning of verse 7:157

Allah’s mercy subsumes all things, but…

To whom Allah’s mercy is ordained?

The verse states to whom Allah’s mercy is ordained:

Those who follow the messenger, the religion of the Messenger, the Prophet who can neither read nor write i.e. Muhammad (whom they will find with his traits and description; described in the Torah and the Gospel which are with them.

He will enjoin on them that which is right, Allah’s divine Oneness and moral excellence and forbid them that which is wrong, disbelief and hurting others.

He will make lawful for them all good things; he explains to them the lawfulness of that which is in the Scripture such as the meat and milk of camels, sheep and others; and prohibit for them only the foul; he explains to them the unlawfulness of what is in the Scripture such as carrion, the meat of swine and other things; and he will relieve them of their burden, their pledges the breaking of which made good things unlawful for them and the fetters, the hardships that they used to wear such as tearing up their clothes and other things.

Then those who believe in him, in Muhammad i.e. ‘Abdullah Ibn Salam (the top Jewish Priest at the time of Muhammad) and his followers, and honor him and assist him and help him and follow the light, the Quran which is sent down with him, which was sent with the Angel Gabriel: that which is lawful, they declared lawful, and that which unlawful, they declared unlawful: they are the successful, who are saved from Allah’s wrath and torment.

N.B.:

Abdullah Ibn Salam was the top Jewish Priest at the time of Muhammad. He went to Muhammad and said unto him:

I know that you are the last Prophet which Allah has promised to send. I believe in Allah and in you.  Muhammad was glad to hear that and he said to Ibn Salam: Do you mind if your folk heard what you said? The rest of the story is very interesting and you can find it by searching the net.

In other words, the verse says: those who follow the Prophet who is uninstructed, illiterate, i.e. unable to read and write,

the Messenger Muhammad whom they will find inscribed in their Torah and Gospel, in name and description, enjoining them to decency and forbidding them indecency, making lawful for them the good things, which were forbidden to them by their Law, and making unlawful for them the vile things, such as carrion and the like, and relieving them of their burden, their onus, and the shackles, the hardships, that they used to bear, such as [the requirement] to kill oneself as a repentance and the severing of that part that had come into contact with any impurity.

Then those who believe in him, from among them (the people of the Book, the Jews and the Christians), and honor him, revere him, and help him, and follow the light that has been revealed with him, namely, the Quran, they are the ones who will prosper’.

An example of how Muhammad is inscribed in the Bible:

The story of the first revealed verse of the Quran:

The Angel Gabriel came to Muhammad holding a paper, He gave the paper to Muhammad and said: “Read this”

Muhammad said: “I cannot read”.

Then, the first verse of the Quran revealed:

This story is mentioned in the Bible in Isaiah 29:12

Isaiah 29:12 (New American Standard Bible)

Then the book will be given to the one who is illiterate, saying, “Please read this.” And he will say, “I cannot read.”

In this Biblical verse, Isaiah prophesizes that the last Prophet is illiterate (I cannot read).

Back to the story, the Angel Gabriel repeated for three times, “Read this” and Muhammad answered for three times: “I cannot read”.

Then, the first verse of the Quran revealed:

“Read in the name of your Lord who created” (verse 96:1).

And this was the first revelation that Gabriel brought down from Allah unto Muhammad.

It is interested that the first revealed word of the Quran is:” Read”.

The first verse of the Noble Quran says:

Read (O Muhammad) in the name of your Who created, all creatures.

It is very interesting that, since then the illiterate Arabic man, Muhammad, became the teacher and the advisor of mankind; how? Because he was taught by the Creator of the Worlds!

As a matter of fact, there are many Biblical prophecies about the Prophet Muhammad; the interested reader can search for “Muhammad in the Bible”, he could find a lot of Biblical prophecies about the last Prophet Muhammad.

Back to Allah’s mercy subsumes all things

Allah’s mercy subsumes all things

In the life of this world, Allah’s mercy subsumes every human being either he is a believer or disbeliever.  Allah bestows the disbelievers as well as the believers by the brain, heart, eyes, hearing, hands, feet etc.  But, in the hereafter, Allah’s mercy is only for those who believe in Him, in the Angels, in the Scriptures (including the Quran), in the Messengers (including Muhammad) and in the Day of Judgment.

It is a fruitful question: who is the loser?

The loser is the one who fails to attain Allah’s mercy that subsumes all things; and we are things!

The meaning of verse 7:158

Say, addressing the Prophet here: O Muhammad: O mankind! Lo! I am the Messenger of Allah to you all; (the Messenger of) Him unto whom belonged the Sovereignty, the Kingdom of the heavens and the earth. There is no God save Allah; there is no Provider save Him. He quickens for the resurrection and He gives death in the life of this world.

So believe in Allah and His messenger, the Prophet who can neither read nor write, who believes in Allah and in His words; in the Quran; or, according to another commentary: who believes in Jesus, who became a created being with a word, Be, and he was. And follow him; follow the religion of Muhammad that haply you may be led aright; in order that you be guided from error to faith.

In other words, the verse says:

Say, O Muhammad: ‘O mankind, I am the Allah’s Messenger of to you all, [the Messenger] of Him to Whom belongs the kingdom of the heavens and of the earth. There is no god but Him. He gives life and makes to die.

Believe, then, in Allah and His Messenger, the illiterate Prophet, who believes in Allah and His words, the Quran, and follow him, so that you might be guided, led aright.

Verses 7:157-158 in different English translations of the meanings of Arabic Quran:

QARIB:

157) And to those who shall follow the messenger the unlettered prophet (Muhammad) whom they shall find written with them in the torah and the gospel. he will order kindness upon them and forbid them to do evil. He will make good things lawful to them and prohibit all that is foul. He will relieve them of their burdens and of the shackles that weigh upon them. Those who believe in him and honor him, those who aid him and follow the light sent forth with him, shall surely prosper. ‘

158) Say: ‘o mankind, I am the messenger of Allah to you all. his is the kingdom in the heavens and the earth. There is no god except he. he revives and causes to die. Therefore, believe in Allah and his messenger, the unlettered prophet, who believes in Allah and his words. Follow him in order that you are guided.’

SHAKIR:

157) Those who follow the messenger-prophet, the ummi, whom they find written down with them in the taurat and the injeel (who) enjoins them good and forbids them evil, and makes lawful to them the good things and makes unlawful to them impure things, and removes from them their burden and the shackles which were upon them; so (as for) those who believe in him and honor him and help him, and follow the light which has been sent down with him, these it is that are the successful

158) Say: o people! surely I am the messenger of Allah to you all, of him whose is the kingdom of the heavens and the earth there is no god but he; he brings to life and causes to die therefore believe in Allah and his messenger, the ummi prophet who believes in Allah and his words, and follow him so that you may walk in the right way

PICKTHAL:

157) Those who follow the messenger, the prophet who can neither read nor write, whom they will find described in the torah and the gospel (which are) with them. he will enjoin on them that which is right and forbid them that which is wrong. he will make lawful for them all good things and prohibit for them only the foul; and he will relieve them of their burden and the fetters that they used to wear. then those who believe in him, and honour him, and help him, and follow the light which is sent down with him: they are the successful.

158) Say (O Muhammad): o mankind! lo! I am the messenger of Allah to you all – (the messenger of) him unto whom belongeth the sovereignty of the heavens and the earth. There is no Allah save him. he quickeneth and he giveth death. so believe in Allah and his messenger, the prophet who can neither read nor write, who believeth in Allah and in his words, and follow him that haply ye may be led aright.

YUSUFALI:

157) “those who follow the messenger, the unlettered prophet, whom they find mentioned in their own (scriptures),- in the law and the gospel;- for he commands them what is just and forbids them what is evil; he allows them as lawful what is good (and pure) and prohibits them from what is bad (and impure); he releases them from their heavy burdens and from the yokes that are upon them. so it is those who believe in him, honor him, help him, and follow the light which is sent down with him,- it is they who will prosper.”

158) Say: “o men! I am sent unto you all, as the messenger of Allah, to whom belongeth the dominion of the heavens and the earth: there is no god but he: it is he that giveth both life and death. so believe in Allah and his messenger, the unlettered prophet, who believeth in Allah and his words: follow him that (so) ye may be guided.”

Why Do Priests & Preachers Enter Islam? The story of conversion of the Preacher Yusuf Estes (8)

1. “How could you have turned your back on the perfect plan of salvation of Jesus Christ on the cross for you sins?”

2. “Do you consider you were really “saved” and that you had in fact, been “born again?”

——————————

ANSWERS TO QUESTIONS

Now as I promised here are the answers to the questions many have asked me connected with my choice of Islam:

1. “How could you have turned your back on the perfect plan of salvation of Jesus Christ on the cross for you sins?”

The ex- American preacher Yusuf Estes answers this question by saying:

Your question implies you have not considered the similarities and teachings of the Bible and the Quran.

“ISLAM” means – “Surrender, submit and obey your Lord in sincerity and peace.” Whoever is trying to do this, is a “MUSLIM.” If someone believes in Almighty God as One God and One Lord and wants to commit their life to serving Him and obeying His Commandments, then that person will be in the right way and they will be “saved” according to God’s Mercy. No one can take the sins of another and the guilty must stand accused for what they have done. It will be up to Almighty God to Forgive or Punish according to His Judgment on that Day.

According to the remains of the translations of the Bible [see: “Bible, A Closer Look”] Jesus, peace be upon him, did not preach a message of salvation by worshipping him. This was something added later by Saul (who later became Paul). We find clear statements indicating salvation would come only through acknowledging Almighty God as One God and worshipping Him with all the heart, mind and strength. Jesus, peace be upon him, taught his followers to worship “My God and your God, My Lord and your Lord.”

Again, according to the remains of the English translation of the Bible, we see the one on the cross crying out a very blasphemous statement, “Eli! Eli! Lama sabachthani?” (Which being translated means, “My God! My God! Why have you forsaken me?”) This statement on the cross clearly indicates the one on the cross is not pleased with the situation nor does he consider it right or just. Therefore, one would have to conclude this was not something Jesus approved of nor did he accept, or else someone else was on the cross in his place. Either way you look at it, the one on the cross did not accept this as a plan of salvation.

The Quran is absolutely in agreement with these teachings and Muslims do worship the same God and Lord of Jesus, Moses, Abraham and Adam, peace be upon them all. The Quran states in many places, no one will be taken to task for the sins of another, nor can anyone carry the burden of another. We will all be on our own on that Day. And I ask Allah to have Mercy and Forgiveness for all those who believe in Him, ameen.

I consider that I have not left the teachings of Jesus Christ, peace be upon him. On the contrary, I feel much closer to Jesus, peace be upon him, and I look forward to His return on earth more than ever before. Now I am worshipping the same God he worships and I serve the same Lord he serves, in the very same way he does. Jesus prayed to Almighty God and taught his followers to do the same. I am simply doing what he commanded to the best of my ability and ask Almighty God to accept it.

2. “Do you consider you were really “saved” and that you had in fact, been “born again?”

Answer:

The Baptists have a statement, “Once saved, always saved.” I asked one of them about this and he agreed it was true. Then I mentioned at one time I had become a Baptist (in my teen years) but now I was a Muslim. I had also been “saved” and baptized at the age of 12. I had accepted the very statement of Jesus being the way, the light and the truth and no man coming on to the Father except by him. I understood these statements to mean I must follow Jesus and his teachings. Therefore, I read the Bible for myself and did not let others tell me what to think about what I was reading.

The Bible states that Jesus prayed for salvation for himself in the garden of Gethsemane in this way, “Let this cup pass from me, even so, Thy Will be done.” This prayer was repeated by Jesus, peace be upon him, a number of times and it is mentioned in more than one Gospel. Yet, according to Biblical accounts, the cup did not pass from him and his prayers were NOT ANSWERED. Islam teaches us his prayers were answered and he did not have to endure the cruel treatment and death on the cross, but rather he was taken up while still alive and is with Almighty God even now and ready to return in the Last Days to bring victory to the believers.

Additionally, we find Jesus, peace be upon him, teaching his disciples to pray like this, “Our Father in Heaven, Hallowed be Thy Name, Thy Kingdom come, Thy Will be done on earth as it is in Heaven. Give us this day our daily bread, and forgive us our trespasses as we forgive those who trespass against us. Lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from all evil. For Thine is the Kingdom and the Power and Glory, forever and ever, ameen.” Every Muslim I have met accepts every single word of this pray with the exception of calling “Allah” our “Father.” Muslims consider it better to call on Almighty God by His Names, which we do consider to be “Hallowed.”

In Bible vs. Quran, Jesus denied that He is God (15) His Prophecy about the Christians

In the Bible, the lord Jesus plainly determines the bad outcome of those who believe that He is God with emphasis on the Christian Scholars.

Also, the Quran determines the outcome of those who believe that they are doing well although they are the losers.

———————————————-

In the verses Matthew 7:21-23, the lord Jesus plainly determines the outcome of those who believe that He is God.

He says: “Not everyone who says to Me, Lord, Lord, will enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of My Father Who is in heaven. Many will say to me on the Judgment Day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in your name and driven out demons in your name and done many miracles in your name? Then I will tell them plainly, ‘I never knew you. Go away from me, you evildoers”

These beautiful verses indicate that:

1. Jesus denies anyone who believes that He is God.

2. Jesus finds guilty those who believe that He is God and they use His name to preach, to cast out devils and to do miracles. Jesus gives them some names like evildoers, wrong doers, workers of lawlessness, evil people etc.

Now, let us ask this simple question:

To who has Jesus addressed this saying?

Has He addressed it to the Jews, to the Christians or to the Muslims?

He certainly addressed it to the Christians only because the Jews basically deny Jesus and the Muslims believe that Jesus is but a messenger; He is neither God nor the son of God. The Muslims say the lord Moses and the lord Jesus to show respect and love to Allah’s messengers. Also, the Muslims do their acts in the name of Allah and never ever in the name of the lord Jesus.

It follows that Jesus addressed his above saying to the entire Christians which are classified into the normal ones and the scholars. The normal ones believe that Jesus is God or the son of God but they do not use his name to do miracles.

The scholars like the priests of course believe that Jesus is God or the son of God and they use the name of Jesus to do miracles.

The Lord Jesus strongly warned the priests and denied them and gave them names.

On the Judgment Day, Jesus will tell them plainly, ‘I never knew you. Go away from me, you evildoers:

In the verses 18:103-104, the Quran describes this kind of people who believe that they are doing well although they are the losers

The verses 18:103-104 according to Pickthal translation say:

103) say: shall we inform you who will be the greatest losers by their works?

104) those whose effort goeth astray in the life of the world, and yet they reckon that they do good work.

———————————————-

Appendix:

Speaking about the scholars who think that they do good works, herein is an example to show you how they Forged the Word of their LORD Jesus!

Study of 15 Bible’s versions (e.g., 21st Century King James Version, American Standard Version etc.) shows that all of them but one say (with little differences between them):

21 “Not every one that saith unto Me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ shall enter into the Kingdom of Heaven, but he that doeth the will of My Father who is in Heaven.

22 Many will say to Me in that Day, ‘Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in Thy name, and in Thy name have cast out devils (demons), and in Thy name done many wonderful (mighty) works?’

23 And then will I profess unto them, ‘I never knew you: depart from Me, ye that work iniquity.’

Now, read and compare the above with what the editors of this version says:

21-23 “Knowing the correct password—saying ‘Master, Master,’ for instance—isn’t going to get you anywhere with me. What is required is serious obedience—doing what my Father wills. I can see it now—at the Final Judgment thousands strutting up to me and saying, ‘Master, we preached the Message, we bashed the demons, our God-sponsored projects had everyone talking.’ And do you know what I am going to say? ‘You missed the boat. All you did was use me to make yourselves important. You don’t impress me one bit. You’re out of here.’ (The Message)

What lessons Allah teaches His Servants?

Among the sayings the Prophet Muhammad relates from his Lord (May He be glorified) is that

Allah said:

·         “My servants, I have forbidden oppression for Myself and have made it forbidden amongst you, so do not oppress one another.

·        My servants, all of you are astray except for those I have guided, so seek guidance of Me and I shall guide you.

·        My servants, all of you are hungry except for those I have fed, so seek food of Me and I shall feed you. O My servants, all of you are naked except for those I have clothed, so seek clothing of Me and I shall clothe you.

·        My servants, you sin by night and by day, and I forgive all sins, so seek forgiveness of Me and I shall forgive you.

·        My servants, you will not attain harming Me so as to harm Me, and you will not attain benefiting Me so as to benefit Me.

·        My servants, were the first of you and the last of you, the human of you and the jinn of you to be as pious as the most pious heart of any one man of you, that would not increase My kingdom in anything. O My servants, were the first of you and the last of you, the human of you and the jinn of you to be as wicked as the most wicked heart of any one man of you, that would not decrease My kingdom in anything.

·        My servants, were the first of you and the last of you, the entire human beings and the jinn, to rise up in one place and make a request of Me, and were I to give everyone what he requested, that would not decrease what I have, any more than a needle decreases the sea if put into it.

·        My servants, it is but your deeds that I reckon up for you and then recompense you for, so let him who finds good praise Allah and let him who finds other than that blame no one but himself.'”

This saying was:

1) Said on the authority of Abu Dharr al-Ghifari, one of Muhammad’s companions (may Allah be pleased with him) from the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him)

2) Narrated by the authors of At-Tirmidhi, Ibn Majah and Muslim

This is Allah (27) Allah Told Adam that Satan is his Manifest Enemy

It is both Adam and Eve who did wrong and Eve was not the Leading

The First Oath in the History was a big Lie

Satan knows very well the man’s weak point

Satan made the First nakedness in the History Manifest

————————————————————–

Many people do not know Allah. This series is an attempt to help them in order to know and acknowledge their Creator.

Verses 7:19-22 of the Noble Quran talk about:

1) Allah told Adam that Satan is his manifest enemy,

2) It is both Adam and Eve who did wrong and Eve was not the Leading,

3) The First Oath in the History was a big Lie,

4) Satan knows very well the man’s weak point and

5) Satan made the first nakedness in the History

This series is an attempt to help them in order to know and acknowledge their Creator.

Verses 7:10-13 of the Noble Quran talk about:

1) Allah has given you power in the earth and you give little thanks,

2)Allah told the Angels to Prostrate before Adam for greeting,

3)Iblis (Satan) was the First Historically disobeyed Allah, and

4) When Satan said that he is better than Adam? And 5)

The Pride of Satan was the first Sin in the History

In the previous article (29) Allah said to Satan: Go forth from hence, degraded, rebuked, banished far from good; As for such of them, from the jinn and humans as follow you and obey you, surely I will fill hell with all of you of the disbelievers among the jinn and humans; then Allah told Adam that Satan is his enemy and …

The meaning of verse 7:19

And, Allah said, ‘O Adam, dwell, you and your wife, Eve, in the Garden, and eat from whence in Paradise you will, but do not come near this tree, to eat of it; lest you become evildoers and wrong-doers’.  In other words, do not eat from this tree lest you become of those who harm themselves.

The meaning of verse 7:20

Then Satan, Iblis, whispered to them that he might manifest, reveal, to them that which was hidden to them of their shameful parts by the attire of light (of their shame) of their nakedness. And he said, ‘Your Lord prohibited you from this tree only, in aversion, lest you become angels or become immortals’, in other words, that is the necessary consequence of eating from it, as is stated in another verse (20:120): Shall I guide you to the Tree of Immortality and a kingdom that does not waste away?

In other words, Iblis said to them: (Your Lord forbade you) O Adam and Eve (from this tree only lest ye should become angels) who teach good and evil in Paradise (or become of the immortals) in Paradise: this is why He forbade you to eat from the tree.

This indicates that Satan knows the man’s weak point and man loves to have kingdom and to be immortal

The meaning of verse 7:21

And he swore to both of them, that is, he swore to both of them by Allah, ‘Truly, I am a sincere adviser to you’, in this matter; in my oath that this is the tree of immortality.

The meaning of verse 7:22

Thus he did lead them on, to eat from the tree with guile, with falsehood and lies until they ate from it. Thus Satan did debase them in their status, by delusion, on his part.

And when they tasted of the tree their shame, their nakedness was manifest to them and they began out of shame to hide by heaping on themselves some of the leaves of the Garden.  In other words, their shameful parts were manifested to them, that is, the front private part of each was revealed to the other, as well as their behinds — each of these parts is called, ‘shameful’, because its exposure ‘shames’ that person, and they began to piece together, they began to stick, onto themselves some of the leaves of the Garden, to cover themselves up therewith.

And their Lord called them: O Adam and Eve, saying: Did I not forbid you from that tree, from eating of that tree and tell you: Lo! Satan, Iblis, is an open enemy to you whose enmity is quite manifest?

In other words, Allah called them: ‘Did I not prohibit you from this tree, and say to you, “Verily Satan is a manifest enemy to you”?’, one whose enmity is evident? Herein, the interrogative is meant as an affirmative.

Verses 7:19-22in different English translations of the meanings of Arabic Quran:

QARIB:

19) ‘o Adam dwell with your wife in paradise, and eat from whatever you please; but never approach this tree or you shall both become harmdoers. ‘

20) But Satan whispered to them, so that he might reveal to them their shameful parts which had been hidden from them, he said: ‘your lord has prohibited you from this tree lest you both become angels or become among the immortal. ‘

21) He swore to both: ‘indeed, i am to you among the advisers. ‘

22) So he cheated both by delusion. and when they had tasted the tree, their shameful parts became apparent to them, and they both covered themselves with the leaves of paradise. (then) their lord called to them, saying: ‘did i not prohibit you to approach that tree, and did i not warn you that Satan was your clear enemy? ‘

SHAKIR:

19) And (we said): o Adam! dwell you and your wife in the garden; so eat from where you desire, but do not go near this tree, for then you will be of the unjust

20) But the shaitan made an evil suggestion to them that he might make manifest to them what had been hidden from them of their evil inclinations, and he said: your lord has not forbidden you this tree except that you may not both become two angels or that you may (not) become of the immortals

21) And he swore to them both: most surely i am a sincere adviser to you

22) Then he caused them to fall by deceit; so when they tasted of the tree, their evil inclinations became manifest to them, and they both began to cover themselves with the leaves of the garden; and their lord called out to them: did i not forbid you both from that tree and say to you that the shaitan is your open enemy?

PICKTHAL:

19) And (unto man): o Adam! dwell thou and thy wife in the garden and eat from whence ye will, but come not nigh this tree lest ye become wrong-doers.

20) Then Satan whispered to them that he might manifest unto them that which was hidden from them of their shame, and he said: your lord forbade you from this tree only lest ye should become angels or become of the immortals.

21) And he swore unto them (saying): lo! i am a sincere adviser unto you.

22) Thus did he lead them on with guile. and when they tasted of the tree their shame was manifest to them and they began to hide (by heaping) on themselves some of the leaves of the garden. and their lord called them, (saying): did i not forbid you from that tree and tell you: lo! Satan is an open enemy to you?

YUSUFALI:

19) “o Adam! dwell thou and thy wife in the garden, and enjoy (its good things) as ye wish: but approach not this tree, or ye run into harm and transgression.”

20) Then began Satan to whisper suggestions to them, bringing openly before their minds all their shame that was hidden from them (before): he said: “your lord only forbade you this tree, lest ye should become angels or such beings as live for ever.”

21) And he swore to them both, that he was their sincere adviser.

22) So by deceit he brought about their fall: when they tasted of the tree, their shame became manifest to them, and they began to sew together the leaves of the garden over their bodies. and their lord called unto them: “did i not forbid you that tree, and tell you that Satan was an avowed enemy unto you?”
