———————————-

Many people do not know Allah. This series (1-60) is an attempt to help them to know their Creator.

The Verses 7:115-118 of the Noble Quran talk about:

1) the Egyptian sorcerers produced a mighty sorcery and scared the people,

2) the illusion created by the Egyptian sorcerers were transformed by delusion,

3) Allah inspired Moses: Throw Your Stick,

4) Moses threw his staff and it swallowed up their lying show of the Egyptian sorcerers and

5) Moses won and the Egyptian sorcerers failed.

———————————-

In the previous articles (55-56)

Moses said: O Pharaoh! I am a messenger from Allah to you,

Pharaoh said: You are lying!

Moses said: when talking about to Allah it is compulsory to say the truth. Truly I have come to you with a clear signs from Allah.

Pharaoh Said: If you have come with a sign, then produce it.

Then Moses cast down, he flung down his staff and it was an enormous huge snake manifest for all to see,

And he drew forth his hand, he took it out from his bosom (armpit), and it was white, radiant and shining for the beholders.

The chiefs of Pharaoh’s council said: Lo! this is some knowing wizard who is proficient in wizardry. Surely this man is a cunning sorcerer, outstanding in the art of magic. The aim of this man (Moses) is to expel you from your land of Egypt.  This was not true, the aim of Moses was to take the children of Israel out of Egypt.

Then Pharaoh said:

Now what do you advise? What we should do concerning this matter?

They said unto Pharaoh:

We should bring every cunning sorcerer, who is proficient in wizardry to outdo Moses in the art of magic.  And so they summoned many of the knowing wizards.

And the sorcerers who were 70 in number came to Pharaoh, and they said: Surely there will be a great reward for us if we are victors against Moses.

Pharaoh answered: Yes of course you have that, and surely you shall be of those brought near to me in status.  Then what?

———————————-

The meaning of verse 7:115

The Egyptian sorcerers who were proficient in wizardry said:

O Moses! Either you throw first or let us be the first throwers

Either you cast, your staff, or we shall be the casters!’, of what we have.

The meaning of verse 7:116

Moses said:

Cast! Throw first whatever you are going to throw! This is a sort of command permitting them to cast first, as a means to manifesting the truth.

And when they cast, their ropes and staffs, they put a spell upon the people’s eyes, misleading them from perceiving the real state of these ropes and staffs, and overawed them, scared them, by making their ropes appear to be slithering snakes, and produced a mighty sorcery.

In other words, when they threw 70 staffs and 70 ropes, they cast a spell upon the people’s eyes, and overawed them scared them, and produced a mighty spell; it is also said that this means: a clear lie.

The meaning of verse 7:117

And Allah revealed to Moses [saying]: ‘Cast your staff.’ And lo! it swallowed up the illusion they were creating, that which they were transforming by delusion.

In other words, Allah inspired Moses (saying): Throw your staff!  And he threw it. And lo! it swallowed up their lying show, their staffs and ropes.

The meaning of verse 7:118

Thus did the truth come to pass, thus it was confirmed and made manifest; and that which they were doing, in the way of sorcery, was proved false.

In other words, thus the Truth was vindicated; it became clear that Moses was right; and that which the Egyptian sorcerers were doing of sorcery was made vain, fizzled away.

———————————-

Verses 7:115-118 in different English translations of the meanings of Arabic Quran:

QARIB:

115) They said: ‘Moses, will you throw first or shall we be the throwers? ‘

116) ‘Throw, ‘ he replied. and when they threw, they bewitched the people’s eyes and terrified them, and produced great sorcery.

117) Then we revealed to Moses: ‘now, throw down your staff. ‘ and thereupon it swallowed up their false invention.

118) So, the truth prevailed and what they were doing was annulled;

SHAKIR:

115) They said: o musa! will you cast, or shall we be the first to cast?

116) He said: cast. so when they cast, they deceived the people’s eyes and frightened them, and they produced a mighty enchantment

117) And we revealed to musa, saying: cast your rod; then lo! it devoured the lies they told

118) So the truth was established, and what they did became null

PICKTHAL:

115) They said: o Moses! either throw (first) or let us be the first throwers?

116) He said: throw! and when they threw they cast a spell upon the people’s eyes, and overawed them, and produced a mighty spell.

117) And we inspired Moses (saying): throw thy staff! and lo! it swallowed up their lying show.

118) Thus was the truth vindicated and that which they were doing was made vain.

YUSUFALI:

115) They said: “o Moses! wilt thou throw (first), or shall we have the (first) throw?”

116) Said Moses: “throw ye (first).” so when they threw, they bewitched the eyes of the people, and struck terror into them: for they showed a great (feat of) magic.

117) We put it into Moses’s mind by inspiration: “throw (now) thy rod”:and behold! it swallows up straight away all the falsehoods which they fake!

118) Thus truth was confirmed, and all that they did was made of no effect.

This is Allah (27) Allah Told Adam that Satan is his Manifest Enemy

It is both Adam and Eve who did wrong and Eve was not the Leading

The First Oath in the History was a big Lie

Satan knows very well the man’s weak point

Satan made the First nakedness in the History Manifest

————————————————————–

Many people do not know Allah. This series is an attempt to help them in order to know and acknowledge their Creator.

Verses 7:19-22 of the Noble Quran talk about:

1) Allah told Adam that Satan is his manifest enemy,

2) It is both Adam and Eve who did wrong and Eve was not the Leading,

3) The First Oath in the History was a big Lie,

4) Satan knows very well the man’s weak point and

5) Satan made the first nakedness in the History

This series is an attempt to help them in order to know and acknowledge their Creator.

Verses 7:10-13 of the Noble Quran talk about:

1) Allah has given you power in the earth and you give little thanks,

2)Allah told the Angels to Prostrate before Adam for greeting,

3)Iblis (Satan) was the First Historically disobeyed Allah, and

4) When Satan said that he is better than Adam? And 5)

The Pride of Satan was the first Sin in the History

In the previous article (29) Allah said to Satan: Go forth from hence, degraded, rebuked, banished far from good; As for such of them, from the jinn and humans as follow you and obey you, surely I will fill hell with all of you of the disbelievers among the jinn and humans; then Allah told Adam that Satan is his enemy and …

The meaning of verse 7:19

And, Allah said, ‘O Adam, dwell, you and your wife, Eve, in the Garden, and eat from whence in Paradise you will, but do not come near this tree, to eat of it; lest you become evildoers and wrong-doers’.  In other words, do not eat from this tree lest you become of those who harm themselves.

The meaning of verse 7:20

Then Satan, Iblis, whispered to them that he might manifest, reveal, to them that which was hidden to them of their shameful parts by the attire of light (of their shame) of their nakedness. And he said, ‘Your Lord prohibited you from this tree only, in aversion, lest you become angels or become immortals’, in other words, that is the necessary consequence of eating from it, as is stated in another verse (20:120): Shall I guide you to the Tree of Immortality and a kingdom that does not waste away?

In other words, Iblis said to them: (Your Lord forbade you) O Adam and Eve (from this tree only lest ye should become angels) who teach good and evil in Paradise (or become of the immortals) in Paradise: this is why He forbade you to eat from the tree.

This indicates that Satan knows the man’s weak point and man loves to have kingdom and to be immortal

The meaning of verse 7:21

And he swore to both of them, that is, he swore to both of them by Allah, ‘Truly, I am a sincere adviser to you’, in this matter; in my oath that this is the tree of immortality.

The meaning of verse 7:22

Thus he did lead them on, to eat from the tree with guile, with falsehood and lies until they ate from it. Thus Satan did debase them in their status, by delusion, on his part.

And when they tasted of the tree their shame, their nakedness was manifest to them and they began out of shame to hide by heaping on themselves some of the leaves of the Garden.  In other words, their shameful parts were manifested to them, that is, the front private part of each was revealed to the other, as well as their behinds — each of these parts is called, ‘shameful’, because its exposure ‘shames’ that person, and they began to piece together, they began to stick, onto themselves some of the leaves of the Garden, to cover themselves up therewith.

And their Lord called them: O Adam and Eve, saying: Did I not forbid you from that tree, from eating of that tree and tell you: Lo! Satan, Iblis, is an open enemy to you whose enmity is quite manifest?

In other words, Allah called them: ‘Did I not prohibit you from this tree, and say to you, “Verily Satan is a manifest enemy to you”?’, one whose enmity is evident? Herein, the interrogative is meant as an affirmative.

Verses 7:19-22in different English translations of the meanings of Arabic Quran:

QARIB:

19) ‘o Adam dwell with your wife in paradise, and eat from whatever you please; but never approach this tree or you shall both become harmdoers. ‘

20) But Satan whispered to them, so that he might reveal to them their shameful parts which had been hidden from them, he said: ‘your lord has prohibited you from this tree lest you both become angels or become among the immortal. ‘

21) He swore to both: ‘indeed, i am to you among the advisers. ‘

22) So he cheated both by delusion. and when they had tasted the tree, their shameful parts became apparent to them, and they both covered themselves with the leaves of paradise. (then) their lord called to them, saying: ‘did i not prohibit you to approach that tree, and did i not warn you that Satan was your clear enemy? ‘

SHAKIR:

19) And (we said): o Adam! dwell you and your wife in the garden; so eat from where you desire, but do not go near this tree, for then you will be of the unjust

20) But the shaitan made an evil suggestion to them that he might make manifest to them what had been hidden from them of their evil inclinations, and he said: your lord has not forbidden you this tree except that you may not both become two angels or that you may (not) become of the immortals

21) And he swore to them both: most surely i am a sincere adviser to you

22) Then he caused them to fall by deceit; so when they tasted of the tree, their evil inclinations became manifest to them, and they both began to cover themselves with the leaves of the garden; and their lord called out to them: did i not forbid you both from that tree and say to you that the shaitan is your open enemy?

PICKTHAL:

19) And (unto man): o Adam! dwell thou and thy wife in the garden and eat from whence ye will, but come not nigh this tree lest ye become wrong-doers.

20) Then Satan whispered to them that he might manifest unto them that which was hidden from them of their shame, and he said: your lord forbade you from this tree only lest ye should become angels or become of the immortals.

21) And he swore unto them (saying): lo! i am a sincere adviser unto you.

22) Thus did he lead them on with guile. and when they tasted of the tree their shame was manifest to them and they began to hide (by heaping) on themselves some of the leaves of the garden. and their lord called them, (saying): did i not forbid you from that tree and tell you: lo! Satan is an open enemy to you?

YUSUFALI:

19) “o Adam! dwell thou and thy wife in the garden, and enjoy (its good things) as ye wish: but approach not this tree, or ye run into harm and transgression.”

20) Then began Satan to whisper suggestions to them, bringing openly before their minds all their shame that was hidden from them (before): he said: “your lord only forbade you this tree, lest ye should become angels or such beings as live for ever.”

21) And he swore to them both, that he was their sincere adviser.

22) So by deceit he brought about their fall: when they tasted of the tree, their shame became manifest to them, and they began to sew together the leaves of the garden over their bodies. and their lord called unto them: “did i not forbid you that tree, and tell you that Satan was an avowed enemy unto you?”

This is Allah (20) who is the loser, Allah or the unbelievers?

It is Allah who made mankind one succeeding the other in the earth

Whoever disbelieves in Allah, his disbelief will be to his own detriment

Has anyone besides Allah created anything in the Earth?

Does any of your gods share Allah in His Kingdom?

————————————————————————

Many people do not know Allah. This series is an attempt to help them in order to know and acknowledge their Creator.

The verses 35:39-40 of the Noble Quran give two facts; they are:

1) It is Allah Who made mankind one succeeding the other in the earth and

2) Whoever disbelieves in Allah, his disbelief will be to his own detriment;

And also the verses give three questions; they are:

1) Who is losing, the Disbelievers or Allah?

2) Did anyone besides Allah create anything on the Earth? And

3) Does any of your gods share Allah in His Kingdom?

————————————————————————

The meaning of verse 35:39:

It is Allah Who made you successors in the earth in other words, one succeeding the other.

So whoever disbelieves, of you, his disbelief will be to his own detriment, that is, the evil consequences of his disbelief will be their responsibility.

And their disbelief does not increase the disbelievers with their Lord [in anything] except disfavor, wrath.

And their disbelief does not increase the disbelievers [in anything] except loss, of the reward of the Hereafter.

In other words, the verse says that it is He, Allah, Who has made you O mankind (regents in the earth) dwellers in the earth after the destruction of past nations; so he who disbelieves in Allah, his disbelief will be on his own head, on his own responsibility, the punishment of his disbelief is against his own soul.

Their disbelief increases for the disbelievers in Muhammad and in the Quran, in their Lord’s sight in the Hereafter, naught save abhorrence nothing but detestation.

Their disbelief in the life of this world increases for the disbelievers naught save loss in the Hereafter.

The meaning of verse 35:40:

Say O Muhammad, to the disbelievers, to the idolaters: Have ye seen your partner-gods, your deities to whom you pray;  whom you worship beside Allah? Show me what they created of the earth! Or have they any portion) with Allah (in the heavens) in the creation of the heavens? (Or have We given them) i.e. the disbelievers of Mecca (a Scripture so that they act on clear proof there from) that they will not be punished? (Nay, the evil-doers promise) what the idolaters say in the life of this world to (one another) i.e. the leaders to those who followed them (only to deceive) only vanity in the Hereafter.

In other words, the verse asks: ‘Have you considered your associates on whom you call, [those whom] you worship, besides Allah?, and they are the idols whom you asserted to be partners of Allah, exalted be He. Show me, apprise me of, what [part] of the earth they have created. Or do they have some partnership, some share alongside Allah, in, the creation of, the heavens?’ Or have We given them a scripture, so that they are [acting] upon a clear proof, a definitive argument, there from?, to the effect that they have some partnership with Me? Nothing of the sort! Nay, but the evildoers, the disbelievers, promise one another nothing but delusion, falsehood, when they say that the idols will intercede for them.

————————————————————————

Verses 35:36-38 in different English translations of the meanings of Arabic Quran:

QARIB:

39) It is he who made you caliphs in the earth. he who disbelieves, his disbelief shall be charged against him. the unbelievers disbelief does nothing for them, except, increase them in hate with Allah their disbelief increases the unbelievers only in loss.

40) Say: ‘have you considered your associates who you call upon, other than Allah? show me what they have created in the earth! or, have they a partnership in the heavens? ‘ or, have we given them a book so that they have proof of it? no, the harm doers promise each other nothing else but delusion.

SHAKIR:

39) He it is who made you rulers in the land; therefore whoever disbelieves, his unbelief is against himself; and their unbelief does not increase the disbelievers with their lord in anything except hatred; and their unbelief does not increase the disbelievers m anything except loss

40) Say: have you considered your associates which you call upon besides Allah? show me what part of the earth they have created, or have they any share in the heavens; or, have we given them a book so that they follow a clear argument thereof? nay, the unjust do not hold out promises one to another but only to deceive

PICKTHAL:

39) He it is who hath made you regents in the earth; so he who disbelieveth, his disbelief be on his own head. their disbelief increaseth for the disbelievers, in their lord’s sight, naught save abhorrence. their disbelief increaseth for the disbelievers naught save loss.

40) Say: have ye seen your partner-gods to whom ye pray beside Allah? show me what they created of the earth! or have they any portion in the heavens? or have we given them a scripture so they act on clear proof therefrom? Nay, the evil-doers promise one another only to deceive.

YUSUFALI:

39) He it is that has made you inheritors in the earth: if, then, any do reject (Allah), their rejection (works) against themselves: their rejection but adds to the odium for the unbelievers in the sight of their lord: their rejection but adds to (their own) undoing.

40) Say: “have ye seen (these) ‘partners’ of yours whom ye call upon besides Allah? show me what it is they have created in the (wide) earth. or have they a share in the heavens? or have we given them a book from which they (can derive) clear (evidence)?- nay, the wrong-doers promise each other nothing but delusions.

Chapter 6 of the Quran (77) Allah’s steady Law for His Prophets

The Quran declares that what the disbelievers of Mecca have done to the prophet Muhammad was happening through a steady and constant law that Allah put for the relationship between all the Prophets and the devils among mankind and jinn.

——————————————-

Ayah 6:112 says that what the disbelievers of Mecca have done to the prophet Muhammad is happening through a steady and constant law that Allah put for the relationship of the Prophets and the devils of mankind and jinn.

Both mankind and jinn are responsible creatures; they will be asked for their deeds on the Day of Judgment.

In both mankind and jinn, there are those men and jinn who like the truth and they are not many; they are the believers. But, there are those men and jinn who the truth and they are many; they are the unbelievers; they are the devils of mankind and jinn.

Assuredly, the conflicts between the believers and the devils unbelievers have to occur.

The top believers walked on the earth are the prophets and their followers.

The most severe conflicts between the believers and the unbelievers had to occur between the prophets and their followers and the devils unbelievers. And this is Allah’ steady and constant law.

On the other hand, the devils unbelievers of mankind and jinn use their steady and constant law; they use the varnished speech. They inspire, whisper, fine varnished speech to each other, the falsehood that is disguised as such in delusion, in order to delude them and delude the other. (like the today attacking Islam in the Media, TV, Videos, and Newspapers etc).

Ayah 6:112 says

Allah has appointed the disbelievers of Mecca who sneer as your enemies O Muhammad, so has Allah appointed unto every Prophet an adversaries and enemies, the devils, the rebels, of mankind and jinn who inspire, whisper, fine varnished speech to each other in delusion in order to delude them.

Yet, had your Lord willed, they would never have done it, that mutual inspiration.

So leave them, let the disbelievers be, with what they fabricate, of disbelief and otherwise, of what has been adorned for them.

Leave, O Muhammad, those who sneer and their folk with their devising.

Leave, O Muhammad, those who mock their embellishment of words and deception

—————————————————

The verse 6:112 in different translations

QARIB:

As such we have assigned for every prophet an enemy; the satans of humans and jinn, revealing varnished speech to each other, all as a delusion. but had your lord willed, they would not have done so. Therefore leave them and what they invent,

SHAKIR:

and thus did we make for every prophet an enemy, the shaitans from among men and jinn, some of them suggesting to others varnished falsehood to deceive (them), and had your lord pleased they would not have done it, therefore leave them and that which they forge

PICKTHAL:

Thus have we appointed unto every prophet an adversary – devils of humankind and jinn who inspire in one another plausible discourse through guile. if thy lord willed, they would not do so; so leave them alone with their devising;

YUSUFALI:

Likewise did we make for every messenger an enemy,- evil ones among men and jinns, inspiring each other with flowery discourses by way of deception. if thy lord had so planned, they would not have done it: so leave them and their inventions alone.
