The Atheists, who disbelieve in Muhammad and in the Quran and deny the Day of Resurrection, when they witness their predicament and that of the Muslims, will wish that they had been Muslims.
———————————
The verses 15:1-6 of the Quran talk about the nature of the book, which the Atheists reject as fabrication, adding a threat that they will soon witness a day when they wish they had submitted themselves to Allah and become Muslims.
People who do not believe in the revelation of this unique book, and describe the Quran as fabricated when it is very clear in its import, will come to see a day when they will dearly wish that they had adopted a totally different attitude. They will wish that they had been Muslims.
Allah swore by Alif, Lam, and Ra that:
- These are the verses of the Scripture, the Quran.
- The Quran is the manifest plain Reading book.
- The Quran makes evident what is truth and what is falsehood.
- The Quran makes plain the lawful and the prohibited, the commands and prohibitions.
It may be that the Atheists, who disbelieve in Muhammad and in the Quran and deny the Day of Resurrection, when they witness their predicament and that of the Muslims, will wish that they had been Muslims.
They wish ardently that they were Muslims in this worldly life.
This is because when Allah takes out of hell whoever was a sincere believer and enters them into Paradise, the Atheists wish at that moment they had been a Muslim in this worldly life.
Leave them, O Muhammad, O believers to eat and to enjoy, the world of theirs,
They be diverted, distracted, by hope, of a long life and other matters that keep them away from faith,
This is an implicit threat.
Let them O Muhammad without having any proof or resolve for that which lies ahead
Let false hope beguile them
For they will come to know, the sequel of their affair.
They will come to know upon death and in the grave and on the Day of Judgment what is waiting for them.
This is a severe threat to them.
Allah’s Rule:
- Allah did not destroy any town, its inhabitants, but that it had a known decree, a pre-determined term, after which it He destroyed it.
- Allah destroyed no sinful people of a township, except that there is an appointed term for their destruction.
- No nation can outstrip its term. No nation perishes or is destroyed before the appointed time for its perishing or destruction
- Nor can they lag behind; no nation is given respite when its appointed time comes.
However, the Atheists say as regards to the Prophet Muhammad:
O you, to whom the Quran, has been revealed, as you claim,
O you who claim that Gabriel brought you the Quran,
- Lo! You are indeed possessed
- Lo! You are indeed a maniac!
- You are inventing lies.
The Atheists are too proud to mock the last Prophet Muhammad
Leave them O Muhammad to their carnal desires, eating and enjoying, without reflection, contemplation or thought to what is around them. Leave them with their deluding hopes and deceiving temptations, while life passes away and the opportunity is lost.
Leave them so that you do not waste your own time with those who have condemned themselves when they lost their way in idle hopes and desires.
For they will come to know, their outcome.
The Atheists’ pride makes hope.
Hope always tempts and beguiles man. So much so, that he overlooks the facts of Allah’s existence, fate and the certainty of death.
Man forgets that there is a duty to be fulfilled and a prohibition to be observed.
Man goes even further so as to forget Allah altogether and forget that he himself is going to die and then be resurrected in order to account for his deeds.
