Angels in Islam (34) who knows their number?

Can anyone tell how many Angels has Allah created? Only one knows the answer

———————————-

How many visitors of Kaaba?

It is said that the maximum number of visitors of Kaaba that is present in Makkah is 15 million in a year

The range is between 5-15 million/year

So, at the maximum, there are 15 million Muslims who are able to visit the Allah’s Holy Home in a year; they go there, following Abraham’s recommendation, to glorify Allah and announce his oneness.

Well, this is for the believers among mankind

What about the Angels?

There is also Holy House in the highest Heavens that Allah only knows where it is.

This Holy House is called the “Much-Frequented House”.

It is well known that the Prophet Muhammad saw this “Much-Frequented House”.

Upon describing it, the Prophet Muhammad said:

“Then I was taken up to the Much-Frequented House: every day seventy thousand angels visit it and leave, never returning to it again, another [group] coming after them.”

It follows that the Angels are regularly and persistently visiting their Holy House in the highest Heavens every day.

But the thing is, the Angels are visiting their Holy House daily in groups, each group is composed of 70,000 Angels.

Each group of Angels is allowed to visit their Holy House only once.

This means that 25,550,000 (more than 25 million) Angels are visiting their Holy House every day and they never return to it again.

The Angels visit their Holy House to glorify Allah and announce his oneness.

The Angels do that from day one of creation of the universe.

According to research, the universe is approximately 13.8 billion years old

Assuming that this value is correct,

It follows that 352,590,000000,000000 Angels have visited their Holy House up till now.

This shows that about 253 Quadrillion Angels have visited their Holy House up till now; however, there are many more waiting their turn to visit in their predetermined day.

(N.B. Quadrillion = 1000 Trillion)

Now, can anyone tell me how many Angels has Allah created?

Only one knows the answer

The answer is found in the verse 74:31 of the Noble Quran

The verse 74:31 in different translations:

QARIB: …none knows the hosts of your Lord except he (Allah)…

SHAKIR: …and none knows the hosts of your Lord but he himself (Allah)…

PICKTHAL: …none knoweth the hosts of thy Lord save him (Allah)…

YUSUFALI: …and none can know the forces of thy Lord, except he (Allah)…

This is Allah (31) Allah forbids open and hidden adultery

Allah Commands: eat and drink but do not be excessive

Allah does not love those who are excessive and prodigal

Allah does not love those who are excessive

The Arabs used to forbid foods and clothes during the days of pilgrimage

The Arab Disbelievers were forbidding what Allah has not forbidden

Allah forbids open and Secret adultery

———————————————————

Many people do not know Allah. This series is an attempt to help them in order to know and acknowledge their Creator.

Verses 7:31-33 of the Noble Quran talk about:

1) Allah does not love those who are excessive and prodigal,

2) Allah Commands: eat and drink do not be excessive; He does not love those who are excessive,

3) The Arabs used to forbid themselves meat and fat during the days of pilgrimage,

4) The Arab Disbelievers were forbidding what Allah has not forbidden and

5) Allah forbids open and Secret adultery

The meaning of verse 7:31

O Children of Adam! Don your adornment, that which covers your nakedness, at every place of worship, at prayer and upon circumambulation of the Holy House in Mecca, and eat and drink, what you want, but do not be excessive; He truly does not love those who are excessive.

In other words, eat and drink, but do not be prodigal, do not declare unlawful wholesome foods.

Lo! Allah does not love the prodigals, those who transgress by leaving the lawful and going after the unlawful even in eating and drinking..

This verse puts a golden principle about relationship between the health and food; one can speculate that over-eating is not only a health problem but also it is from Satan who made the Arabs before Islam worshiped Allah while they were NAKED!  See article 33.

The meaning of verse 7:32

Say O Muhammad to the disbelievers: ‘Who has forbidden the wearing of clothes during the days of pilgrimage, in the Sacred Precinct and upon circumambulation of the Holy House in Mecca? Who has forbidden the adornment of Allah which He has brought forth for His servants, in the way of garments, and the good things, the delicious foods, and the good things of Allah’ sustenance and providing?’ For in the pre-Islamic days they used to forbid themselves meat and fat during the days of pilgrimage, and entered the Sacred Precinct completely naked: the men during the day and the women during the night. Allah made these practices unlawful.

Say: ‘These, on the Day of Resurrection, shall be exclusively for those who believed during the life of this world and the disbelievers will never have anything of that. Thus, in the Quran, We detail the signs, We explain them in such detail, for a people who know’, who reflect, for they are the ones to profit from these [signs].

In other words, all the good things, on the Day of Resurrection, will be only for those who believed during the life of the world in Muhammad and the Quran, while both believer and sinner will enjoy them during the life of this world. Allah elucidates the Quran by explaining the lawful and the unlawful for people who have knowledge, for people who believe it is from Allah.

The meaning of verse 7:33

Say) to them, O Muhammad: My Lord forbids only indecencies, grave sins, such as fornication, such of them as are apparent and such as are hidden, that is, the overt ones and the secret ones, and sin, the act of disobedience, and wrongful insolence, against people, namely, oppression, and that you associate with Allah that for which He never revealed any warrant, any definitive proof for such association, and that you say concerning Allah that which you do not know’, in the way of forbidding what He has not forbidden and other things.

In other words, Allah forbids only indecencies, adultery, (such of them as are apparent) open adultery (and such as are within) taking secret lovers, (and sin) intoxicants as the poet said: I sipped sin until my mind erred, Thus indeed does sin take away minds. I openly drank urns of sin, And between us benefiting, you see your goddess; (and wrongful oppression) unlawful overbearingness, (and that you associate with Allah that for which no warrant) no Scripture or proof (hath been revealed, and that ye tell concerning Allah that which ye know not) of forbidding crops and cattle, good things and raiment.

Verses 7:31-33in different English translations of the meanings of Arabic Quran:

QARIB:

31) Children of Adam, take your adornment at every place of prayer. eat and drink, and do not waste. he does not love the wasteful.

32) Say: ‘who has forbidden the adornment that Allah has brought for his worshipers and the good provision? ‘Say: ‘they are in this life for those who believe, and purely theirs on the day of resurrection. ‘ as such we distinguish the verses to people who know.

33) Say: ‘my lord has forbidden all indecent acts whether apparent or disguised and sin, and unjust insolence, and that you associate with Allah that for which he has never sent down an authority, or to say about Allah what you do not know. ‘

SHAKIR:

31) O children of Adam! attend to your embellishments at every time of prayer, and eat and drink and be not extravagant; surely he does not love the extravagant

32) Say: who has prohibited the embellishment of Allah which he has brought forth for his servants and the good provisions? say: these are for the believers in the life of this world, purely (theirs) on the resurrection day; thus do we make the communications clear for a people who know

33) Say: my lord has only prohibited indecencies, those of them that are apparent as well as those that are concealed, and sin and rebellion without justice, and that you associate with Allah that for which he has not sent down any authority, and that you say against Allah what you do not know

PICKTHAL:

31) O children of Adam! look to your adornment at every place of worship, and eat and drink, but be not prodigal. lo! he loveth not the prodigals.

32) Say: who hath forbidden the adornment of Allah which he hath brought forth for his bondmen, and the good things of his providing? say: such, on the day of resurrection, will be only for those who believed during the life of the world. thus do we detail our revelations for people who have knowledge.

33) Say: my lord forbiddeth only indecencies, such of them as are apparent and such as are within, and sin and wrongful oppression, and that ye associate with Allah that for which no warrant hath been revealed, and that ye tell concerning Allah that which ye know not.

YUSUFALI:

31) O children of Adam! wear your beautiful apparel at every time and place of prayer: eat and drink: but waste not by excess, for Allah loveth not the wasters.

32) Say: who hath forbidden the beautiful (gifts) of Allah, which he hath produced for his servants, and the things, clean and pure, (which he hath provided) for sustenance? say: they are, in the life of this world, for those who believe, (and) purely for them on the day of judgment. thus do we explain the signs in detail for those who understand.

33) Say: the things that my lord hath indeed forbidden are: shameful deeds, whether open or secret; sins and trespasses against truth or reason; assigning of partners to Allah, for which he hath given no authority; and saying things about Allah of which ye have no knowledge.

The meanings of verse 2:190 of the Noble Quran:

Verse 2:190 is talking about Allah allows fighting against those who initiate fight

The Historical events before revelation of the of the verse

After the Prophet Muhammad and the Muslims were prevented from visiting the Holy House in Mecca,

The arrogant disbelievers of Mecca prevented them from visiting the Holy House.

Muhammad made a pact with the disbelievers that he would be allowed to return the following year, at which time they would vacate Mecca for three days.

Having prepared to depart for the Visitation, he and the believers were concerned that disbelievers would not keep to the agreement and instigate fighting.

The Muslims were averse to becoming engaged in fighting while in a state of pilgrimage inviolability in the Sacred Enclosure [Holy House in Mecca] and during the sacred months in which the Arabs traditionally prevent fighting,

And so the verse was revealed:

And fight in the way of God, to elevate His religion, with those who fight against you, the disbelievers,

Fight in the way of Allah, in obedience of Allah whether in the Sacred Precinct or in other places, against those who fight against you, against those who initiate fight against you,

But do not aggress against them by initiating the fighting;

Allah does not love the aggressors, the ones that overstep the bounds which God has set for them.

Allah does not love those who initiate fighting whether in the Sacred Precinct or in other locations.

Verse 2:190 in different translations

QARIB:

Fight in the way of Allah those who fight against you, but do not aggress. Allah does not love the aggressors.

SHAKIR:

And fight in the way of Allah with those who fight with you, and do not exceed the limits, surely Allah does not love those who exceed the limits.

PICKTHAL:

Fight in the way of Allah against those who fight against you, but begin not hostilities. Lo! Allah loveth not aggressors.

YUSUFALI:

Fight in the cause of Allah those who fight you, but do not transgress limits; for Allah loveth not transgressors.

Allah does not love (11) the unfaithful and ungrateful

Allah forbids the tradition of splashing the blood of sacrifices

Allah protects the believers

Neither the flesh or blood of sacrifices reach Allah, but the devotion from you reaches Him

In this article, that Allah does not love the unfaithful and ungrateful.

————————————————————-

The meanings of verses 22:37-38 of the Noble Quran:

Verse 22:37 is talking about the sacrifice of animals

The ignorant disbelievers said that some parts of the animals and their blood are for the Lord, and they did not approach such parts or blood.  Also, in the pre-Islamic time they used to splash the blood of sacrifices on the walls of the Holy House and sully themselves with this blood and so Allah forbade them from doing so; Allah said:

Their flesh and their blood do not reach Allah

In other words, neither their flesh nor their blood shall reach God, that is, neither of these shall be raised up to Him; rather it is your piety that shall reach Him, that is, it is your righteous action, performed purely for Him, together with your faith, that shall be raised up to Him.

It is also said that this means: Allah does not accept their flesh or blood, but the devotion from you reaches Him, but He accepts your pure and sincere faith and works.  Thus have Allah made them subject unto you that you may magnify and glorify Allah that He has guided you to His religion and wont.

And He gives good tidings to the good, to those who are good in their words and deeds; and it is said that the good means: the generous with their sacrifices.

In other words, Allah gives good tidings to the virtuous, namely, those who affirm the Oneness of God

Verse 22:38 says:

Indeed Allah protects those who believe in Muhammad and in the Quran against the disbelievers and against the misguidance of idolaters.

Indeed Allah does not love the treacherous, unfaithful with regard to what is entrusted to him,

And Allah does not love the ungrateful, for His grace; these are the disbelievers, the idolaters and those who put partners or son with the Lord

Allah does not love those means that He will punish them severely in the afterlife.

Verses 22:37-38 in different translations

QARIB:

37) Their flesh and blood does not reach Allah rather it is piety from you that reaches him. as such he has subjected them to you, in order that you exalt Allah for guiding you. and give glad tidings to the generous.

38) Allah will defend those who believe. Verily, Allah does not love the ungrateful cheat.

SHAKIR:

37) There does not reach Allah their flesh nor their blood, but to him is acceptable the guarding (against evil) on your part; thus has he made them subservient to you, that you may magnify Allah because he has guided you aright; and give good news to those who do good (to others)

38) Surely Allah will defend those who believe; surely Allah does not love any one who is unfaithful, ungrateful

PICKTHAL:

37) Their flesh and their food reach not Allah, but the devotion from you reacheth him. thus have we made them subject unto you that ye may magnify Allah that he hath guided you. and give good tidings (o Muhammad) to the good.

38) Lo! Allah defendeth those who are true. lo! Allah loveth not each treacherous ingrate.

YUSUFALI:

37) It is not their meat nor their blood, that reaches Allah: it is your piety that reaches him: he has thus made them subject to you, that ye may glorify Allah for his guidance to you and proclaim the good news to all who do right.

38) Verily Allah will defend (from ill) those who believe: verily, Allah loveth not any that is a traitor to faith, or show ingratitude.
