Chapter 6 of the Quran (34) how to understand Allah’s Plan

The chief wealthy unbelievers of Mecca said to Muhammad: Were those, weak, poor and needy, the ones whom Allah has favoured from among us with guidance? The Quran says: Allah loves the faithful believers, and He does not love the proud arrogant wealthy strong unbelievers.

In the previous article, the chief wealthy strong unbelievers of Mecca were too proud to ask the Prophet Muhammad to repel the weak, poor and needy Muslims; they said to him:

‘We were among the prosperouss of our people and we dislike those people. So could you repel them when we sit with you?’

Not only that but they continued: ‘We will not be pleased until you write an agreement between us to repel those people when we sit with you’.

The Prophet Muhammad wanted to do this, because of his desire that the unbelievers become Muslims.  But, Allah command ed him not to repel those weak, poor and needy Muslims and said: If you repel them you will be of the unjust and of the evildoers.

Then, Ayah 6:53 says:

It is Allah’s plan to try some of them by others. Allah is testing the prosperous one by the commoner.

  • It is Allah’s plan to try the rich man by the poor man.
  • It is Allah’s plan to try the strong man by the weak man.
  • It is Allah’s plan to try the fortunate man by the deprived man.
  • It is Allah’s plan to try the proud famous man by the lowly man.

Allah is not interested in our power or money but He is rather interested in the faith inside our heart.

The prosperous wealthy ones may say, in disavowal: ‘Were those, weak, poor and needy, the ones whom Allah has favoured from among us with guidance? If what they follow is true guidance, they would not have preceded us in attaining it.

It should be emphasized that one of those weak, poor and needy believers was Bilal, the salve black Ethiopean believers.

Allah, exalted be He, says:

Is Allah not best awwere of those who were thankful to Him to guide them? Indeed He is.

Is not Allah best awwere of the thanksgivers of the believers, those who deserve such favour of guidance? Indeed He is.

Allah loves the faithful weak, poor and needy believers, and ,

Allah does not love the proud arrogant wealthy strong unbelievers
