Chapter 6 of the Quran (91) Why Allah Sent His messengers

Allah has sent His messengers to mankind as warners to warn man of the encounter of the Day of Judgment if he disbelieves. Sending of the messengers is because Allah, the absolute Just, would never punish unwarned people.

——————————————-

In the previous article, Allah has sent messengers to mankind as warners to warn man of the encounter of the Day of Judgment if he disbelieves.

This happened throughout the history.

Allah has sent His Messenger Noah to warn his people of the encounter of the Day of Judgment if they disbelieve.

Allah has sent His Messenger Abraham to warn his people of the encounter of the Day of Judgment if they disbelieve.

Allah has sent His Messenger Lot to warn his people of the encounter of the Day of Judgment if they disbelieve.

Allah has sent His Messenger Moses to warn the Egyptians and the Israelites of the encounter of the Day of Judgment if they disbelieve.

Allah has sent His Messenger David to warn his people of the encounter of the Day of Judgment if they disbelieve.

Allah has sent His Messenger Jesus to warn the Jews of the encounter of the Day of Judgment if they disbelieve.

Allah has sent His Messenger Muhammad to warn every man on the earth of the encounter of the Day of Judgment if he disbelieves.

Ayah 6:131 continues talking about the issue of sending messengers by Allah to mankind and jinn; it says:

Sending of the messengers is because your Lord would never destroy the people of the townships arbitrarily because of their injustice or transgression while their inhabitants were heedless or unconscious and not having had any Messenger to make things clear to them as regards the commands and the prohibitions.

In other words, the messengers were sent thus, for Allah would not destroy for their wrong-doing men’s habitations whilst their occupants were unwarned.

The entire messenger sent by Allah has done their job perfectly.

But what about the people unto them the messengers have been sent?

Ayah 6:132 says:

All of those who perform deeds shall have degrees of requital according to what they have done of good or evil.

There will be ranks for the believers in Paradise, and

There will be dungeons in hell for the unbelievers

Your Lord is not unaware; He is not heedless of what they do of good or evil.
