Allah asks you (13) are the Blind man and the Seer Equal?

Allah sent his Messengers to bear good tidings and to warn of the Hell

No fear shall befall them and they will not grieve in the Hereafter, Who they are?

Allah Asks: Are the believer and disbeliever equal in acts of obedience and reward?

Allah is asking mankind this question: Are the blind man and the seer equal?   

‘Is the blind man, the disbeliever, equal to the seeing man, the believer?  Are the believer and disbeliever equal in acts of obedience and reward?

No! Will you not then reflect’ upon this and believe? 

Will you not then take thought about the similes of the Quran?

In the Noble Quran, Allah is asking mankind some important questions.

It seems compulsory for the serious one who is looking for the truth to have a look at those questions and if possible to answer them.

Allah’ questions are many.  In this series, these questions are chosen randomly.

The question in this article is:

Are the blind man and the seer equal?

‘Is the blind man, the disbeliever, equal to the seeing man, the believer?

Are the believer and disbeliever equal in acts of obedience and reward?

No! Will you not then reflect’ upon this and believe?

Verses 6:48-50 give the question of this article and talk about it

The meanings of Verses 6:48-50

Verse 6:48 says:

Allah does not send messengers, except to bear good tidings and to warn of the Hell,

To bear good tidings to those who believe of Paradise, and

To warn of the Hell, to those who disbelieve, warning of the Fire.

Whoever believes, in them and Scriptures, and makes amends, in his deeds, no fear shall befall them; neither shall they grieve, in the Hereafter.

Verse 6:49 says:

But as for those who deny Our revelations,

Those who deny Muhammad and the Quran, torment will afflict them for that they used to disobey because of their denial of Muhammad and the Qur’an.

The chastisement shall afflict them because they were wicked, rebelling against obedience.

Verse 6:50 says:

Say O Muhammad to them: ‘I do not say to you,

“I possess the keys to the treasures of Allah from which He provides sustenance e.g. vegetations, fruits, rain or punishment,

And I do not have knowledge of the Unseen, that which is hidden from me and has not been revealed to me.

 And I do not say to you, “I am an angel”, from among the angels;

I only follow what is revealed to me, only that which is inspired in me’

(Say) O Muhammad:

Are the blind man and the seer equal?

‘Is the blind man, the disbeliever, equal to the seeing man, the believer?

Are the believer and disbeliever equal in acts of obedience and reward?

QARIB:

48) We send forth our messengers only to give glad tidings to mankind and to warn them. Those who believe and mend their ways shall have nothing to fear or to be saddened.

49) But those who belie our verses, punishment shall touch them for their misdeeds.

50) Say: ‘I do not tell you that I have the treasuries of Allah or know the unseen, nor do I claim to be an angel. I follow only that which is revealed to me. ‘ say: ‘are the blind and the seeing alike? Will you not think?

SHAKIR:

48) And we send not messengers but as announcers of good news and givers of warning, then whoever believes and acts aright, they shall have no fear, nor shall they grieve.

49) And (as for) those who reject our communications, chastisement shall afflict them because they transgressed

50) Say: I do not say to you, I have with me the treasures of Allah, nor do I know the unseen, nor do I say to you that I am an angel; I do not follow aught save that which is revealed to me. Say: are the blind and the seeing one alike? Do you not then reflect?

PICKTHAL:

YUSUFALI:

50) Say: “I tell you not that with me are the treasures of Allah, nor do I know what is hidden, nor do I tell you I am an angel. I but follow what is revealed to Me.” say: “can the blind be held equal to the seeing?” will ye then consider not?

Chapter 6 of the Quran (90) the Jinn Messengers

Allah sent human messengers to mankind and jinn messengers to the jinn. The message of both the human messengers and the jinn messengers was the same; it is to worship the only one true God whose name is Allah.The Quran is the only book on the earth which says that!

Ayah 6:129 cnontinues saying:

So, just as We let the rebels from among mankind and jinn enjoy one another (read the preious article), We let some of the evildoers have authority over others because of what they were used to earn, of acts of disobedience.

Then Ayah 6:130 went back again to mankind and jinn; it says:

O assembly of jinn and mankind, did not messengers come to you from among your own, who were warners to warn you of the encounter of this Day of Judgment?

They shall say, ‘We bear witness against ourselves’ that they (the messengers) did.

Allah, exalted be He, says: 

The life of this world deluded you, and so you did not believe.

And they bear witness against themselves that they were evil-doers and disbelievers.

This verse indicates that Allah sent human messengers to mankind and jinn messengers to the jinn. The message of both the human messengers and the jinn messengers was the same; it is to worship the only one true God whose name is Allah.

The Quran is the only book on the earth which says that!

The verses 6:129-130 in different translations

QARIB:

129) so we make the harmdoers guides of each other for what they have earned.

130) ‘jinn and human, did there not come to you messengers of your own who narrated to you my verses and warned you of encountering this day? ‘

They will reply: ‘we bear witness against ourselves. ‘Indeed, the life of this world beguiled them.

 They will bear witness against themselves that they were unbelievers.

SHAKIR:

129) and thus do we make some of the iniquitous to befriend others on account of what they earned

130) O assembly of jinn and men! Did there not come to you messengers from among you, relating to you my communications and warning you of the meeting of this day of yours?

They shall say: we bear witness against ourselves; and this world’s life deceived them, and they shall bear witness against their own souls that they were unbelievers

PICKTHAL:

129) thus we let some of the wrong-doers have power over others because of what they were wont to earn.

130) o ye assembly of the jinn and humankind! came there not unto you messengers of your own who recounted unto you my tokens and warned you of the meeting of this your day? They will say: we testify against ourselves. And the life of the world beguiled them. And they testify against themselves that they were disbelievers.

YUSUFALI:

129) thus do we make the wrong-doers turn to each other, because of what they earn.

130) “o ye assembly of jinns and men! came there not unto you messengers from amongst you, setting forth unto you my signs, and warning you of the meeting of this day of yours?” they will say: “we bear witness against ourselves.” it was the life of this world that deceived them. so against themselves will they bear witness that they rejected faith.

This is Allah (11) is the Evil Doers like the one whom Allah has guided?

Allah makes the Dead Land Alive

Also, Allah makes the unbeliever believer

Allah says that Resurrection is like the Revival of the Dead Land

The Outcome of the believers vs. the unbelievers in the Afterlife

Many people do not know Allah. This series is an attempt to help them in order to know and acknowledge their Creator.

Verses 35:7of the Noble Quran talks about the Outcome of Believers versus Disbelievers in the afterlife. 

Verse 35:8 asks: Is he, the evil doers like one whom Allah has guided?

Verse 35:9 gives an example of the Resurrection; that is the revival of the dead land.

Verse 35:7 says:

Those who disbelieve in Muhammad and in the Quran, theirs will be a severe chastisement and an awful doom;

But those who believe and perform righteous deeds and do acts of obedience between them and their Lord, theirs will be forgiveness and a great reward, their sins will be forgiven in the life of this world and a great reward in Paradise.

This is a declaration of what fate will be for the adherents of Satan and what will be for his opponents respectively.

Verse 35:8 says:

Is he, the evil of whose deeds is made fair-seeming unto him by distortion, so that he deems it good,

is he whose constitutes the subject, the predicate of which is an omitted like one whom Allah has guided?

Allah verily sends away from His religion whoever deserves it

and He guides to His religion (whom He will) whoever deserves it

In other words, Indeed Allah leads astray whomever He will and guides whomever He will. So do not let your soul expire for their sake, for those to whom it has made [to seem] fair, out of sighings, by becoming anguished lest they do not believe. Indeed God is Knower of what they do, and He will requite them for it.

Lo! Allah is Aware of what they do in their state of disbelief of scheming in their meeting and treachery in order to kill Muhammad

Indeed Allah is Knower of what they do, and He will requite them for it.

Verse 35:9 says:

And it is Allah Who sends the winds and they raise a cloud; then He leads it) through rain (unto a dead land) wherein there is no plants (and He revives therewith) by means of the rain (the earth after its death) after its dryness and exposure to draught. (Such is the Resurrection) in the same way you will be quickened and raised from the graves.

In other words, Allah made seeds and grass grow in it: Such will be the Raising, that is, the Resurrection and the bringing [of the dead] back to life.

9) And Allah it is who sendeth the winds and they raise a cloud; then we lead it unto a dead land and revive therewith the earth after its death. such is the resurrection.

YUSUFALI:

7) For those who reject Allah, is a terrible penalty: but for those who believe and work righteous deeds, is forgiveness, and a magnificent reward.

8) Is he, then, to whom the evil of his conduct is made alluring, so that he looks upon it as good, (equal to one who is rightly guided)? for Allah leaves to stray whom he wills, and guides whom he wills. so let not thy soul go out in (vainly) sighing after them: for Allah knows well all that they do!

9) It is Allah who sends forth the winds, so that they raise up the clouds, and we drive them to a land that is dead, and revive the earth therewith after its death: even so (will be) the resurrection!
