Atheists in Quran (51) another Scientific fact. Recycling

The Quran is the first book on the face of Earth that mentions the scientific fact of recycling more than 1400 years ago. This may help the scientific-minded Atheists to realize that Allah is able to bring them back to life on the Day of Judgment.

———————————————–

The verse 10:4 of the Noble Quran is composed of 28 Arabic words; it talks about:

1) A very important fact

2) Then the verse strengthens this important fact by assuring us that this fact is but an Allah’s promise that will happen certainly.

3) Then the verse makes a remarkable scientific pause to simplify the important fact and make it easy to be understood by the scientific minded people

4) Further, discuss the impact of the important fact on both the believers and the Atheists

———————————————–

1) What is the very important fact? To Allah you shall return

2) How the verse strengthens this important fact? It is Allah’s promise will certainly happen.

3) What is the remarkable scientific pause? Allah originates the creation and repeats it. This scientific pause = the recycling of everything around us

4) What is the impact of the important fact on both the believers and the Atheists?

On the believers = reward, with equity

The Atheists = scalding drink + grievous suffering

———————————————–

The verse and the remarkable scientific pause

The remarkable scientific pause is translated as

Allah originates the creation and repeats it, or

Allah begins the creation and he reproduces it

The verbs originates, begins, repeats and reproduces are in the present tense that indicate the continuity of the acts of beginning the creation and the repetition of it.

All organic material in nature are recycled. If you go for a walk in the woods, you will see compost formed from deadfall. Organisms like mushrooms help to break down the deadfall and create the compost. When a living thing dies, it breaks down and becomes a source for nutrients for other living things. Even animal waste is utilized as fertilizer.

If we look around us or inside us we then acknowledge this Quranic scientific fact very much

Everything around us is created, recycled and then created again

Around us, we see that the soil, air, gases, clouds, rain, plants, bacteria and energy are recycled every minute etc.

Inside our body, we see that millions of cells are created, recycled and reproduced again every minute.

This is the ever-continuous Allah’s action

It goes without saying that the Quran is the first book on the face of Earth that mentions this scientific fact of recycling more than 1400 years ago.

———————————————–

How this this scientific fact of recycling serves the issue of Faith?

Let us agree first about this: without the continuous process of recycling that occurs every minute around and inside us, our lives would have been impossible.

Have we praise Allah for that?

Well, is the One who does that unable to bring you back to life in the Day of Judgment?

Back to the meanings of the verse 10:4

To Allah you shall return to face the reckoning when He gives each one, believer or unbeliever, his or her fitting reward

“To Him you shall all return. This is, in truth, Allah’s promise.”

Allah has promised that you will return to Him and Allah’s promise will certainly happen.

For resurrection is the completion of creation.

“He originates all His creation, and then brings them all back to life so that He may reward, with equity, those who have believed and done good deeds. As for the unbelievers, they shall have a scalding drink and a grievous suffering for their unbelief.”

Administering justice to all is in itself one of the aims of original creation and bringing all creatures back to life. Similarly, giving pure happiness and enjoyment without any unwelcome consequences to spoil its effects is another aim of the process of creation and resurrection.

The unbelievers will have to suffer the consequences of their errant ways just like one who violates the rules of health: he suffers disease and debility and they suffer distress after distress. Their outcome will be unmitigated misery, in contrast to the pure happiness the believers enjoy: “As for the unbelievers, they shall have a scalding drink and a grievous suffering for their persistent disbelief”

———————————————–

The verse 10:4 in different translations:

QARIB:

To him all of you will return together. This is, in truth, the promise of Allah. He originates creation, then he revives it so that he may recompense those who believe and do righteous deeds. As for the unbelievers, theirs is a drink of boiling water and a painful punishment for their disbelief.

SHAKIR:

To him is your return, of all (of you); the promise of Allah (made) in truth; surely he begins the creation in the first mstance, then he reproduces it, that he may with justice recompense those who believe and do good; and (as for) those who disbelieve, they shall have a drink of hot water and painful punishment because they disbelieved

PICKTHAL:

Unto him is the return of all of you; it is a promise of Allah in truth. lo! he produceth creation, then reproduceth it, that he may reward those who believe and do good works with equity; while, as for those who disbelieve, theirs will be a boiling drink and painful doom because they disbelieved.

YUSUFALI:

To him will be your return- of all of you. the promise of Allah is true and sure. It is he who beginneth the process of creation, and repeateth it, that he may reward with justice those who believe and work righteousness; but those who reject him will have draughts of boiling fluids, and a penalty grievous, because they did reject him.

Angels in Islam (30) you might have seen them-B

You might have seen the Angels one day but you did not realize that they were Angels!

Read this real story of the Angel and the Leper, the Bald Man and the Blind Man; this story or the alikemight has happened to many people!

————————————-

A Real Story:

There were three very poor men, a leper, a blind man and a bald-headed man; they kept asking Allah all the time to heal them and to give them good property.

Then, what happened?

The Prophet Muhammad said:

Allah willed to test three men who were a leper, a blind man and a bald-headed man.

So, he sent them an Angel who came to the leper and said, “What thing do you like most?”

He replied, “Good color and good skin, for the people have a strong aversion to me.”

The Angel touched him and his illness was cured, and he was given a good color and beautiful skin.

The Angel asked him, “What kind of property do you like best?”

He replied, “Camels, so he (i.e. the leper) was given a pregnant she-camel, and

The Angel said to him: “May Allah bless you in it.”

The Angel then went to the bald-headed man and said, “What thing do you like most?”

He said, “I like good hair and wish to be cured of this disease, for the people feel repulsion for me.”

The Angel touched him and his illness was cured, and he was given good hair.

The Angel asked him: “What kind of property do you like best?”

He replied, “Cows.” The Angel gave him a pregnant cow and said: “May Allah bless you in it.”

The Angel went to the blind man and asked, ‘What thing do you like best?’

He said, “I like that Allah may restore my eye-sight to me so that I may see the people.”

The Angel touched his eyes and Allah gave him back his eye-sight.

The Angel asked him, “What kind of property do you like best?”

He replied, “Sheep.”

The Angel gave him a pregnant sheep and said: “May Allah bless you in it.”

Afterwards, all the three pregnant animals gave birth to young ones, and multiplied and brought forth so much that one of the three men had a herd of camels filling a valley, and one had a herd of cows filling a valley, and one had a flock of sheep filling a valley.

Then the Angel, disguised in the shape and appearance of a leper, went to the leper and said, “I am a poor man, who has lost all means of livelihood while on a journey. So none will satisfy my need except Allah and then you. In the Name of Him who has given you such nice color and beautiful skin, and so much property, I ask you to give me a camel so that I may reach my destination.”

The man replied, “I have many obligations (so I cannot give you).”

The Angel said, “I think I know you; were you not a leper to whom the people had a strong aversion? Weren’t you a poor man, and then Allah gave you all this property?”

He replied, “This is all wrong, I got this property through inheritance from my fore-fathers.”

The Angel said, “If you are telling a lie, then let Allah make you as you were before.”

Then the Angel, disguised in the shape and appearance of a bald man, went to the bald man and said to him the same as he told the first one, and he too answered the same as the first one did.

The Angel said, “If you are telling a lie, then let Allah make you as you were before.”

The Angel, disguised in the shape of a blind man, went to the blind man and said, “I am a poor man and a traveler, whose means of livelihood have been exhausted while on a journey. I have nobody to help me except Allah, and after Him, you yourself.

I ask you in the Name of Allah who has given you back your eye-sight to give me a sheep, so that with its help, I may complete my journey.”

The man said, “No doubt, I was blind and Allah gave me back my eye-sight; I was poor and Allah made me rich; so take anything you wish from my property. By Allah, I will not stop you for taking anything (you need) of my property which you may take for Allah’s sake.”

The Angel replied, “Keep your property with you.

You guys (i.e., the three men) have been tested and Allah is pleased with you and is angry with your two companions.”

It fruitful then to read this Allah’s Law (the verse 17:7)

QARIB:

‘If you do good, it shall be for your own souls; but if you do evil it is likewise.

SHAKIR:

If you do good, you will do good for your own souls, and if you do evil, it shall be for them.

PICKTHAL:

If ye do good, ye do good for your own souls, and if ye do evil, it is for them (in like manner).

YUSUFALI:

If ye did well, ye did well for yourselves; if ye did evil, (ye did it) against yourselves.

Chapter 6 of the Quran (54) Abraham’s Religion – D

Allah grants Abraham’s notion. He says that the safety is for those who believe and do righteous deeds; they will have safety from any punishment at the Day of Judgment. Verily, Allah is Wise in inspiring His prophets with clear arguments. Verily, Allah is Aware of the argument of His prophets and of the punishment of the unbelievers.

In In the previous articles, Abraham’s people threatened him that their gods would harm him with many malicious things if he kept criticizing them; they said that their gods would assault Abraham with diseases, poverty, infertility etc.

Abraham said:

How should I fear what you worship as gods when they can neither profit nor harm.

How should I fear your idols when they can neither help nor hurt?

How should I fear the sun when it is one of Allah’s creatures?

How should I fear the moon when it is one of Allah’s creatures?

Abraham continued,

How come that you do not fear that you have associated with Allah other gods which He has not revealed to you any permission to do that?

How come that you do not fear Allah, you Almighty Creator who has power over all things?

Now, which of the two parties has more right to feel secure?

  • Those who worship Allah or
  • Those who worship your gods?

Answer this question if you have any wisdom and knowledge keeping in your mind that the worst evildoers who will not be forgivable at the Day of Judgment is to worship anything instead of Allah.

However, they did not answer.

In Ayah 6:82, Allah very much grants Abraham’s notion; He says:

The safety is for those who believe and do not obscure their belief by wrong-doing;

  • They are rightly guided to my straight path.
  • They will have safety from any punishment at the Day of Judgment.

In In Ayah 6:83, Allah discloses that Abraham’s argument against his people was inspired;

He says:

That is our argument. We gave it and inspired it unto Abraham against his folk, we rise unto degrees and merits, by bestowing upon him power, status, argument and the knowledge of Allah’s divine Oneness whoever is fit for it.

Verily, your Lord is Wise in inspiring His prophets with clear arguments.

Verily, your Lord is Aware of the argument of His prophets and of the punishment of the unbelievers.

The verses 6:82-83 in different translations

QARIB:

82) Those who believe and have not confounded their belief with harm security belongs to them; and they are guided. ‘

83) Such is the argument that we gave Abraham against his nation. We raise whom we will to an exalted rank. Your lord is wise, knowing.

SHAKIR:

82) Those who believe and do not mix up their faith with iniquity, those are they who shall have the security and they are those who go aright

83) And this was our argument which we gave to ibrahim against his people; we exalt in dignity whom we please; surely your lord is wise, knowing

PICKTHAL:

82) Those who believe and obscure not their belief by wrongdoing, theirs is safety; and they are rightly guided.

83) that is our argument. We gave it unto Abraham against his folk. We raise unto degrees of wisdom whom we will. Lo! Thy lord is wise, aware.

YUSUFALI:

82) “It is those who believe and confuse not their beliefs with wrong – that are (truly) in security, for they are on (right) guidance.”

83) That was the reasoning about us, which we gave to Abraham (to use) against his people: we raise whom we will, degree after degree: for thy lord is full of wisdom and knowledge.

Chapter 6 of the Quran (53) Abraham’s Religion – C

Abraham said to his people: How should I fear what you worship as gods when they can neither profit nor harm? How should I fear your idols when they can neither help nor hurt? How should I fear the sun when it is one of the creatures of the Almighty Creator? How come that you do not fear Allah, you Almighty Creator when He has power over all things?

—————————————————

In the previous articles, Abraham directly and indirectly told his people that it is unreasonable to worship the idols, the Sun, the Moon, the Stars, and the Planets. He said to them that these things they used to worship as god(s) are but irrational.

Abraham said to them that they should worship the originator of the heavens and the earth.

Abraham’s people disputed with him and argued with him about his belief.

Abraham’s people threatened him that their gods would strike him with evil if he criticized them; they said that their gods would strike Abraham with diseases, poverty, infertility etc.

Abraham said: I have no fear of what you associate with Him, in the way of false gods, that they might strike me with some evil, since they have no power to do anything.

.

In Ayah 6:81, Abraham continued:

How should I fear what you worship as gods when they can neither profit nor harm.

How should I fear your idols when they can neither help nor hurt?

How should I fear the sun when it is one of the creatures of the Almighty Creator?

How should I fear the moon when it is one of the creatures of the Almighty Creator?

How come that you do not fear that you have associated with Allah, in worship, that for which He has not revealed to you any warrant?

How come that you do not fear that you worship instead of Allah gods that you do not have any proof that they have created you?

How come that you do not fear Allah, you Almighty Creator when He has power over all things?

Abraham conyinued saying:

Now, which of the two parties has more right to security and to feel safe, those who worship Allah or those who worship your gods? Answer if you have any wisdom and knowledge

—————————————————

The verse 6:81 in different translations

QARIB:

And how should I fear what you have associated when you yourselves are not afraid that you have associated with Allah that which he did not send down for it upon you an authority. Which of the two parties is more deserving of safety, if you know?

SHAKIR:

And how should I fear what you have set up (with him), while you do not fear that you have set up with Allah that for which he has not sent down to you any authority; which then of the two parties is surer of security, if you know?

PICKTHAL:

How should I fear that which ye set up beside him, when ye fear not to set up beside Allah that for which he hath revealed unto you no warrant? Which of the two factions hath more right to safety? (answer me that) if ye have knowledge.

YUSUFALI:

“How should I fear (the beings) ye associate with Allah, when ye fear not to give partners to Allah without any warrant having been given to you? Which of (us) two parties hath more right to security? (tell me) if ye know.

Chapter 6 of the Quran (52) Abraham’s Religion – B

Abraham said to his people: Do you dispute with me concerning, the Oneness and Almighty of, Allah when He has guided me to the true and straight path. Do you scwere me and threaten me that your false gods would strike me with diseases, poverty, and infertility? I have no fear of what you associate with Allah since they have no power to do anything.

—————————————————————————————————-

In the previous article, Abraham’s people said to him: you do not worship our gods (the idols, the Sun, Moon, Stars, and Planets) then what you worship?

Abraham answered them:

Verily I worship Him who originated the heavens and the earth, inclining towards the upright religion, and I am not of those that associate others with Him.

But his people disputed with him about his religion, they argued with him about his belief.

Not only that but they threatened him that the idols and their other gods would strike him with evil if he aband oned them.

They threatened him that the idols and their other gods would strike him with diseases, poverty, infertility etc.

In Ayah 6:80, Abraham said to them:

Do you dispute with me concerning, the Oneness and Almighty of, Allah when He, exalted be He, has guided me to the true and straight path.

Do you argue with me, concerning, the greatness and Almighty of, Allah when He, exalted be He, has showed me his greatness and power!

Do you scwere me and threaten me that your false gods would strike me with diseases, poverty, and infertility?

I have no fear of what you associate with Him, in the way of false gods, that they might strike me with some evil, since they have no power to do anything.

Nothing would harm me unless my Lord wills something, harmful to befall me and it does.

My Lord encompasses all things through His knowledge. My Lord knows that you do not follow the Truth

Now, will you not consider and take admonition from the warning I am telling you about? Will you not remember this and believe?

—————————————————

The verse 6:80 in different translations

QARIB:

His nation argued with him. he said: ‘will you argue with me about Allah, indeed he guided me! except by his will, i do not fear those you associate with him. my lord embraces all things in knowledge, will you not remember?

SHAKIR:

And his people disputed with him. he said: do you dispute with me respecting Allah? and he has guided me indeed; and i do not fear in any way those that you set up with him, unless my lord pleases; my lord comprehends all things in his knowledge; will you not then mind?

PICKTHAL:

His people argued with him. he said: dispute ye with me concerning Allah when he hath guided me? i fear not at all that which ye set up beside him unless my lord willeth aught. my lord includeth all things in his knowledge. Will ye not then remember?

YUSUFALI:

His people disputed with him. he said: “(come) ye to dispute with me, about Allah, when he (himself) hath guided me? i fear not (the beings) ye associate with Allah: unless my lord willeth, (nothing can happen). my lord comprehendeth in his knowledge all things. will ye not (yourselves) be admonished?

And it is said that this means: in every hour and in every day, they have with Allah an increase in honor and reward.

Regardless of all of that, the happiest and thrilled event in Paradise is beholding Allah’s Countenance; and this is another story.

I (the author) wish to be one of the attendances of this Cheeriest Event!
