Kill the Gay in Bible vs. Quran

In the Bible, the LORD God commands to kill the gay!

In the Quran, In the Quran, Allah does not command to kill the gay!

—————————————

The Gay in the Bible: Do not be a Gay, the LORD Commands: In Leviticus 18:22, the LORD commands not to be a gay. New International Version “‘Do not lie with a man as one lies with a woman; that is detestable. New American Standard Bible You shall not lie with a male as one lies with a female; it is an abomination King James Version

Thou shalt not lie with mankind, as with womankind: it is abomination. The Message “Don’t have sex with a man as one does with a woman. That is abhorrent. According to these four different versions of the Bible, to be a gay is detestable, abomination and abhorrent. However, the sin of the gay is greater than abomination that is why: In Leviticus 20:13, the LORD commands to kill the gay! Look at these four different versions of the Bible: New International Version If a man lies with a man as one lies with a woman, both of them have done what is detestable. They must be put to death; their blood will be on their own heads. New American Standard Bible If there is a man who lies with a male as those who lie with a woman, both of them have committed a detestable act; they shall surely be put to death. Their blood guiltiness is upon them. King James Version If a man also lie with mankind, as he lieth with a woman, both of them have committed an abomination: they shall surely be put to death; their blood shall be upon them. The Message “If a man has sex with a man as one does with a woman, both of them have done what is abhorrent. They must be put to death; they are responsible for their own deaths. —————————————

The Gay in the Quran: The Noble Quran considers the gay act as a big sin that deserves punishment in the afterlife. Nevertheless, the Quran does not command to kill the Gay! What if the Quran was the Book, which commands to kill the Gay? What the western media would have said?

What names they have given the Quran in such case? —————————————

Homosexuality from sodomy to the 21 century

Homosexuality can refer to sexual behavior between organisms of the same sex. The word homosexual is a Greek and Latin hybrid from of the Greek prefix homo- (“same”), and the Latin root sex, thus connoting sexual acts and affections between members of the same sex, including lesbianism.

Gay refers to male homosexuality and Lesbian denotes female homosexuality. Gay and lesbian are the most common alternatives of homosexual. In religious cultures, the law established sodomy as a transgression against divine law, a “crime against nature” and subject to severe penalties, including capital punishment—often inflicted by means of fire to purify the unholy action. In the 1950s, at the height of the red scare in the United States, hundreds of federal and state employees were fired to death because of their homosexuality in the so-called lavender scare. Homosexual acts are punishable by death in some present-day countries including Iran, Mauritania, Nigeria, Pakistan, Sudan, Yemen etc. Reform Judaism, the largest branch of Judaism outside Israel has begun to facilitate religious weddings for gay adherents in their synagogues. Jewish Theological Seminary, considered to be the flagship institution of Conservative Judaism, decided in March 2007 to begin accepting gay and lesbian applicants, after scholars who guide the movement lifted the ban on gay ordination. In 2005, the United Church of Christ became the largest Christian denomination in the United States to formally endorse same-sex marriage. —————————————

Back to the main issue of my series of articles; this is my question to you smart readers: “Is the Quran quoted from the Bible?”

Professor Dr. Ibrahim Khalil wrote this article

http://www.articlesbase.com/religion-articles/in-the-bible-but-not-in-the-quran-4-kill-the-gay-297712.html

This is Allah (72) Have the Israelites Wronged Allah or Wronged Themselves?

8) How did Allah try and test the Israelites?

Herein are the answers for the above questions followed by the details

1) Have the Israelites Wronged Allah or Wronged Themselves?

Allah says: And they (the Israelites) did not wrong Us, but they wronged themselves.

i.e. they did not hurt or harm Allah because of what they committed, but they were wont to wrong themselves, to harm and hurt themselves.

2) Allah Commanded the Israelites to Say : Forgive our Sins But They…

Allah Commanded the Israelites to say: Repentance; and say: there is no deity except Allah; O Our Lord! Forgive our sins Forgive our sins but they said…

—————————–

In the previous article:

And of Moses’ folk there is a community, a group who lead with, enjoin, truth and establish justice therewith; they act upon the Truth.

And Allah divided the Children of Israel, into twelve tribes.

And Allah revealed to Moses: ‘Strike the rock with your staff’, and he struck it, and there gushed forth, burst forth, from it twelve fountains, equal to the number of tribes, each people,

And Allah made the cloud overshadow them, in the wilderness, from the heat of the sun,

Allah sent down to them manna and quails and said to them: ‘Eat of the good things We have provided for you.’

And, when it was said unto them: Dwell in this township, and eat therefrom whence you will, and whenever you will, and say “Repentance”; and say: there is no deity except Allah; it is also said that this means: say O Our Lord! Forgive our sins, and enter the gate of the township prostrate; Allah shall forgive you your sins; He shall increase (reward) for the right doers in their good works.

Have they (the Israelites) said what they were supposed to say?

No., Allah says: And they did not wrong Us, but they wronged themselves.

i.e. They wronged Us not, they did not hurt or harm Us because of what they committed, but they were wont to wrong themselves, to harm and hurt themselves.

—————————–

The meaning of verse 7:162

But the evildoers among them substituted a saying other than that which had been said to them, they said instead: ‘A grain inside a hair’ and entered the gate of the township dragging themselves on their rears.  In the previous article (75), Allah Commanded them to enter the gate of the township prostrate; Then, Allah shall forgive them their sins, i.e. they were supposed to enter the  gate of the township prostrating; but they entered the gate of the township dragging themselves on their rears.

So Allah sent down upon them terror, a chastisement, from the heaven for their evildoing.

In other words, the verse says:

But those of them who did wrong, the sinning people changed the word which had been told them for another saying; they were commanded to say ” hittah [that means there is no deity except Allah; or as in the other meaning: forgive our sins] but instead they said ” hintah that means wheat, a grain inside a hair ; they did not fear their Creator.

So, Allah sent down upon them wrath from heaven; He sent upon them the plague from heaven for their wrong-doing) for changing what they were commanded to say.

In the previous article (75), Allah says: And they (the Israelites) did not wrong Us, but they wronged themselves. i.e. they did not hurt or harm Allah because of what they committed, but they were wont to wrong themselves, to harm and hurt themselves.

The meaning of verse 7:163

And question them, O Muhammad, in rebuke, about the city that was by the sea, bordering the Red Sea about what befell its inhabitants (from among the Israelites), how they would transgress, violate, the Sabbath, by fishing, which they had been commanded not to do on that day; how their fish would come to them on the day of their Sabbath floating at the surface, visible at the surface of the water; but on the day they did not observe the Sabbath, when they would not consecrate the Sabbath over the other days, they would not come to them, as a trial from Allah. Thus, Allah was trying them for their wickedness. And when they went to fish, the city split into three: one third joined the fishing party, another prohibited them, while a third abstained from both fishing and prohibiting.

In other words, the verse says:

Ask the Jews, O Muhammad about the story of the township that was by the sea, how they did break the Sabbath; they used to transgress on the Sabbath by taking the fish, how their big fish came unto them visibly, scores and scores of them, from deep inside up to the shore upon their Sabbath day and on a day when they did not keep Sabbath came they not unto them. Thus did Allah try them, test them for that they were evil-doers.

—————————–

Verses 7:162-163 in different English translations of the meanings of Arabic Quran:

QARIB:

162) The wicked amongst them changed what was said for other words. therefore we sent down upon them from heaven a punishment for their evil doing.

163) Ask them about the village that overlooked the sea and what befell (its people) when they broke the Sabbath. each Sabbath, their fish came swimming towards the shore, but on other days they did not come to them. as such we tempted them (the people) because they had done wrong.

SHAKIR:

162) But those who were unjust among them changed it for a saying other than that which had been spoken to them; so we sent upon them a pestilence from heaven because they were unjust

163) And ask them about the town which stood by the sea; when they exceeded the limits of the Sabbath, when their fish came to them on the day of their Sabbath, appearing on the surface of the water, and on the day on which they did not keep the Sabbath they did not come to them; thus did we try them because they transgressed

PICKTHAL:

162) But those of them who did wrong changed the word which had been told them for another saying, and we sent down upon them wrath from heaven for their wrongdoing.

163) Ask them (o Muhammad) of the township that was by the sea, how they did break the Sabbath, how their big fish came unto them visibly upon their Sabbath day and on a day when they did not keep Sabbath came they not unto them. thus did we try them for that they were evil-livers.

YUSUFALI:

162) But the transgressors among them changed the word from that which had been given them so we sent on them a plague from heaven. for that they repeatedly transgressed.

163) Ask them concerning the town standing close by the sea. behold! they transgressed in the matter of the Sabbath. for on the day of their Sabbath their fish did come to them, openly holding up their heads, but on the day they had no Sabbath, they came not: thus did we make a trial of them, for they were given to transgression.

Allah does not love (17) the Corrupters

The Story of Qaroun, Moses’ cousin, in the Noble Quran

What the believers among the folk of Moses said to Qaroun?

—————————————————

Verses 28:76-83 of the Noble Quran are talking about “Qaroun”, Moses’ cousin, who was very rich man. He was corrupter in the earth in the earth through his disdain, haughtiness and great wealth.

Verses 28:76-77 are talking about who is Qaroun and what the believers among the folk of Moses, said to him.

The meanings of the verses 28:76-83 of the Noble Quran:

Verses 28:76-83 of the Noble Quran are talking about “Qaroun”, Moses’ cousin, who was very rich man. He was corrupter in the earth in the earth through his disdain, haughtiness and great wealth.

Verses 28:76-77 are talking about who is Qaroun and what the believers among the folk of Moses, said to him.

Verse 28:76 says

Indeed, Qaroun was of Moses folk, he belonged to the people of Moses.

He was Moses’ paternal and maternal cousin.

Although he had believed in him in Moses, however, he oppressed his people, he transgressed against Moses, Aaron and their folk and he became insolent towards his people, through his disdain, haughtiness and great wealth.

He said: “Moses has been given messenger ship and Aaron religious authority while have nothing; this I will not accept”, and he rejected Moses’ prophet hood.

Allah had given Qaroun so many treasures that the number of their keys would verily have burdened a group of strong men, in other words, they would have been too heavy for such men.

The number of such men required is estimated to be 70 men

In other words, Allah gave him so much treasure and wealth that the stores thereof) the keys of his stores would verily have been a burden for a troop of mighty men; 70 men carried the keys of his stores

This indicates that he was very wealthy.

His people, the believers among the folk of Moses, said to him, ‘Do not be exultant, in your great wealth, an exultation of insolence; do not be too proud nor associate partners with Allah

Truly Allah does not love the exultant, in such things;

Allah does not love those who are too proud because of their wealth;

Verse 28:77 says

His people, the believers among the folk of Moses, said to Qaroun

But seek the abode of the Hereafter, Paradise in that which Allah has given you through that which Allah has given you of wealth and do not neglect your portion of the world, do not leave your portion in the Hereafter because of your portion in this worldly life;

It is also said: your portion of this worldly life will not diminish because of spending from it for the Hereafter,

And be kind to the poor and needy, even as Allah hath been kind to you by giving you great wealth,

In other words, they said to him:

But seek, in that which God has given you, of wealth, the Abode of the Hereafter, by expending it in obedience to God, and do not forget your share of this world, that is, [do not forget] to strive in it for the sake of the Hereafter; and be good, to people, by [giving] voluntary alms, just as God has been good to you. And do not seek to cause corruption in the earth, by committing acts of disobedience.

Do not commit transgressions and oppose the command of the Messenger Moses,

Surely, Allah does not love the corrupters, who commit transgressions, meaning that He will punish them

—————————————————

Verses 28:76-77 in different translations:

QARIB:

76) Qaroun was one of Moses’ nation. But he was insolent to them, for we had given him such treasures that their very keys were too heavy a burden for even the strong. his people said to him: ‘do not exult; Allah does not love the boastful.

77) But seek, in that which Allah has given you to attain the everlasting residence. do not forget your share in this world. do good, as Allah has been good to you, and do not corrupt in the land, Allah does not love those who corrupt.

SHAKIR:

76) Surely Qaroun was of the people of Moses, but he rebelled against them, and we had given him of the treasures, so much so that his hoards of wealth would certainly weigh down a company of men possessed of great strength. when his people said to him: do not exult, surely Allah does not love the exultant;

77) And seek by means of what Allah has given you the future abode, and do not neglect your portion of this world, and do good (to others) as Allah has done good to you, and do not seek to make mischief in the land, surely Allah does not love the mischief-makers

PICKTHAL:

76) Now Qaroun was of Moses’ folk, but he oppressed them; and we gave him so much treasure that the stores thereof would verily have been a burden for a troop of mighty men. when his own folk said unto him: exult not; lo! Allah loveth not the exultant;

77) But seek the abode of the hereafter in that which Allah hath given thee and neglect not thy portion of the world, and be thou kind even as Allah hath been kind to thee, and seek not corruption in the earth; lo! Allah loveth not corrupters,

YUSUFALI:

76) Qaroun was doubtless, of the people of Moses; but he acted insolently towards them: such were the treasures we had bestowed on him that their very keys would have been a burden to a body of strong men, behold, his people said to him: “exult not, for Allah loveth not those who exult (in riches).

77) “But seek, with the (wealth) which Allah has bestowed on thee, the home of the hereafter, nor forget thy portion in this world: but do thou good, as Allah has been good to thee, and seek not (occasions for) mischief in the land: for Allah loves not those who do mischief.”

Allah loves (2) those who are Clean and Pure

Allah is the Pure and He loves the clean and pure

Allah loves those who turn to him in repentance

Allah loves those who turn to him in repentance.  Allah loves those who cleanse and purify themselves.  Allah loves those who have a care for turning away from transgression and filth.  Allah is the Pure and He loves the clean and pure

—————————————-

The verse 2:222 of the Quran, shows that Allah Loves those who turn to him in repentance and He loves those who cleanse and purify themselves.

The verse 2:222 means:

They will ask you about the monthly period, that is, menstruation and the spot in which it occurs, and how should one treat his wife during it.

They question you (O Muhammad) concerning menstruation,

They ask you about sexual intercourse during menstruation,

Say O Muhammad: it is harmful, It is an ailment, it is filth and unlawful, or the place whence it issues is so;

So keep away from women at such time

So refrain from having sexual intercourse during menstruation

And go not unto them

Do not have sex with them

Till they are cleansed of menstruation

Until they are pure, that is, until they have cleansed themselves after its cessation;

And when they have purified themselves and have had a major ritual ablution

Then come to them, in sexual intercourse, as Allah has commanded you’

You may have sex with them (as Allah hath enjoined upon you.

However, Muslims are allowed to do everything with their wives save the sexual intercourse; in some cultures, men do not eat with menstruating women!

Truly, Allah loves, that is, He rewards and honors, those who repent, of sins, those who repent of transgression and He loves those who have a care for cleanness those who have a care for turning away from transgression and filth.

Allah loves those who cleanse themselves, from impurities.

—————————————-

Verse 2:222 in four different translations

QARIB:

They ask you about menstruation. Say: ‘it is an injury. Stay away from women during their menstrual periods and do not approach them until they are cleansed. When they have cleansed themselves, then come to them from where Allah has commanded you. Allah loves those who turn to him in repentance and he loves those who cleanse themselves. ‘

SHAKIR:

And they ask you about menstruation. say: it is a discomfort; therefore keep aloof from the women during the menstrual discharge and do not go near them until they have become clean; then when they have cleansed themselves, go in to them as Allah has commanded you; surely Allah loves those who turn much (to him), and he loves those who purify themselves

PICKTHAL:

They question thee (O Muhammad) concerning menstruation. say: it is an illness, so let women alone at such times and go not in unto them till they are cleansed. and when they have purified themselves, then go in unto them as Allah hath enjoined upon you. truly Allah loveth those who turn unto him, and loveth those who have a care for cleanness.

YUSUFALI:

They ask thee concerning women’s courses. say: they are a hurt and a pollution: so keep away from women in their courses, and do not approach them until they are clean. But when they have purified themselves, ye may approach them in any manner, time, or place ordained for you by Allah. for Allah loves those who turn to him constantly and he loves those who keep themselves pure and clean.

Allah asks you (4) who make you die and revive you again?

1) Allah describes the causes of corruption in the Earth

2) Allah commands us to travel in the earth to see and to learn

Allah is asking mankind this question: “It is Allah who has created you: further, He has provided for your sustenance; then He will cause you to die; and again He will give you life. Are there any of your (false) “Partners” who can do any single one of these things?”  Also, Allah describes the causes of corruption in the Earth and He commands us to travel in the earth to see what happened to the ancient disbelievers.

—————————————————-

In the Noble Quran, Allah is asking mankind some important questions.

It seems compulsory for the serious one who is looking for the truth to have a look at those questions and if possible to answer them. The answers for these questions may adjust and amend our way in this life and may change some of our ideas.

Allah’ questions are many.

In this series, these questions are chosen randomly.

The question in this article is:

“It is Allah who has created you: further, He has provided for your sustenance; then He will cause you to die; and again He will give you life. Are there any of your (false) “Partners” who can do any single one of these things?

—————————————————-

Verses 30:40- 42 give the question of this article and talk about it

Verse 30:40 says:

Allah is He Who created you as living beings in the wombs of your mothers and then He made you emerge from there possessed of a spirit and then sustained you; provided you with sustenance until you die, then He makes you die, when your lifespan expires, He will give life to you again for the resurrection after you die.

Is there anyone among your associates, of those whom you have associated with God, who does anything of these things?

Is there any one other than Allah who is able to do any of this?

Praise Allah; He exonerated Himself from having a son or partners

and exalted be He above what they associate (with Him) of idols!

Verse 30:41 says:

Corruption has appeared on land, in the wastelands, because of the rain being withheld and the vegetation diminishing, and on sea, in lands near rivers because of their waters diminishing, because of what people’s hands have perpetrated, of acts of disobedience,

It is also said that this means: corruption has appeared through the death of cattle, drought, lack of food and vegetation in the plains, mountains, countryside and wilderness as well as in townships and cities because of the transgressions committed by people,

That Allah may make them taste, that He may make them be seized by a part of that which they have done of transgressions, in order that they may return, in order that they may repent of their sins and thus be relieved.

Verse 30:42 says:

Say O Muhammad: Travel in the land and see and reflect upon the nature of the consequence for, the retribution of those who were before you; how Allah destroyed them when they denied their messengers!  Most of them were disbelievers, idolaters and they associated partners with Allah; and their dwellings and habitations lie [desolate] in ruin.

—————————————————-

Verses 30:40- 42 in different translations:

QARIB:

40) It is Allah who has created you and given you your provision. he will cause you to die, and will then revive you. can any of your associates do any of that? exalted is he above what they associate.

41) Corruption has appeared on land and sea with what the hands of the people earned. Therefore, they taste some of what they did in order that they return.

42) Say: ‘journey in the land and see what was the end of those who were before you. most of them were idolaters. ‘

SHAKIR:

40) Allah is he who created you, then gave you sustenance, then he causes you to die, then brings you to life. is there any of your associate-gods who does aught of it? Glory be to him, and exalted be he above what they associate (with him)

41) Corruption has appeared in the land and the sea on account of what the hands of men have wrought, that he may make them taste a part of that which they have done, so that they may return

42) Say: travel in the land, then see how was the end of those before; most of them were polytheists

PICKTHAL:

40) Allah is he who created you and then sustained you, then causeth you to die, then giveth life to you again. is there any of your (so-called) partners (of Allah) that doeth aught of that? praised and exalted be he above what they associate (with him)!

41) Corruption doth appear on land and sea because of (the evil) which men’s hands have done, that he may make them taste a part of that which they have done, in order that they may return.

42) Say (o Muhammad, to the disbelievers): travel in the land, and see the nature of the consequence for those who were before you! most of them were idolaters.

YUSUFALI:

40) It is Allah who has created you: further, he has provided for your sustenance; then he will cause you to die; and again he will give you life. are there any of your (false) “partners” who can do any single one of these things? Glory to him! and high is he above the partners they attribute (to him)!

41) Mischief has appeared on land and sea because of (the meed) that the hands of men have earned, that (Allah) may give them a taste of some of their deeds: in order that they may turn back (from evil).

42) Say: “travel through the earth and see what was the end of those before (you): most of them worshipped others besides Allah.”
