Allah Asks (32): Are not they tried once or twice every year?

In the Noble Quran, Allah is asking mankind some important questions.
It seems compulsory for the serious one who is looking for the truth to have a look at those questions and if possible to answer them.
Allah’ questions are many in the Quran.

In this series, these questions are randomly picked.
—————
In verses 9:126-129 of the Noble Quran, Allah asks mankind this question: do they not see that they are tried every year once or twice?
It is noticeable that mankind anywhere and everywhere is tested at least once a year with disasters and catastrophes e.g. Hurricane, Flood, Earthquakes, drought, misfortune famine, diseases etc.
However, still they do not repent of their disbelief nor do they remember or do they heed admonition.

The meanings of the verses 9:126-129

Verse 9:126 says:
Do they not see that they are tested, afflicted and tried every year once or twice?
It is noticeable that mankind anywhere and everywhere is tested at least once a year with drought, disaster, catastrophe, misfortune and/or diseases.
Still they do not repent of their disbelief nor do they remember or do they heed admonition.

Verse 9:127 says:
And whenever a Surah is revealed, whenever the Angel Gabriel brings down a Surah exposing the fault of the hypocrites and the Prophet Muhammad used to recite to them; they, the hypocrites look one at another as who should say: Dos anybody among the sincere believers see you? Then they turn away from the prayer, the sermon, the Truth and guidance.
Allah turns away their hearts from the Truth and guidance.
It is also said: they swerved from the truth and guidance, and so Allah swerved their hearts from the truth and guidance because they are a folk who understand not, nor believe in the command of Allah.

Verse 9:128 says:
Verily there has come to you a messenger from among yourselves, O man, that is, Muhammad; for whom it is grievous, hard, that you should suffer, that is, your suffering, your experiencing hardship and encountering harm [is hard on him]; who is full of concern for you, that you should be rightly guided; to the believers full of pity, profoundly compassionate, merciful, desiring good for them.

Verse 9:129 says:
Now, if they turn away from faith, repentance and that which you have told them O Muhammad; say: Allah suffices me my trust is in Allah.
There is no God save Him; there is no protector or helper except Him.
In Him have I put my trust, I put my trust in and rely on Him, and
He is Lord of the Tremendous Throne.

129) Therefore, if they turn away, say: ‘Allah is sufficient for me. There is no god except he. In him I have put my trust. He is the lord of the mighty throne. ‘

128) Certainly a messenger has come to you from among yourselves; grievous to him is your falling into distress, excessively solicitous respecting you; to the believers (he is) compassionate,

129) But if they turn away, say: “Allah sufficeth me: there is no god but he: on him is my trust, – he the lord of the throne (of glory) supreme!”

Allah does not love (1) the disbelievers

What the hypocrites said about Muhammad?

What every soul will wish at the Day of Judgment?

Allah warns mankind to be bewaring of Him

———————————————

On the Day of Judgment, Every soul will wish there were a great distance between it and its evil deeds.  Allah warns all of you to be bewaring of Him: Obey Allah and obey Muhammad; but if man turns away and does not obey, Lo! Allah does not love the disbelievers, meaning that He will chastise them.

———————————————

The meanings of verses 3:30-32 of the Noble Quran:

Verse 3:30 says that: On the Day of Judgment,

When every man will find himself confronted with all that he/she has done,

Everything of good and of evil is written in its register.

Every soul will wish there were a great distance between it and its evil deeds.

The Lord warns you of His Self.

Allah warns all of you to be beware of Him.

And Allah is full of pity for His bondmen.

He is full of pity for the believers.

When they said, ‘We only worship idols out of our love for God, that they might bring us close to Him’,

Verse 3:31 was revealed:

Say, O Muhammad, ‘If you love Allah, follow me, and Allah will love you,

Meaning that He will reward you, and forgive your sins;

Allah is Forgiving, as regards the sins, committed previously, by one who now follows the Prophet Muhammad; Merciful, to him.

This verse was revealed about the Jews who claimed they were the children of Allah and His beloved ones.

When this verse was revealed one of the hypocrites said: “Muhammad is commanding us to love him as the Christians loved Jesus”, and the Jews said: “Muhammad wants us to take him as a compassionate Lord, just as the Christians took Jesus as a compassionate Lord”.

Consequently, Allah revealed the verse 3:32 about their comments:

Say: Obey Allah regarding what He has obligated and obey the Messenger in his practices.

But if they turn away from obeying Allah and Muhammad

Lo! Allah does not love the disbelievers, meaning that He will chastise them.

This indicate that anyone denies Allah and His Prophet Muhammad is a disbeliever!

Allah asks you (11) Do you see in Allah’ Creation any disparity

1)    Allah created life and death that He may test you in this life

2)    Allah is Exalted, Transcendent, Exonerated, the Mighty and the Forgiving

3)    Allah’ Creation for anything is Perfect and flawless

Allah is asking mankind this question: Do you see in Allah’ Creation any disparity or discordance.   Allah Has created seven heavens in layers, one above the other.  Do you see, in them any flaw?

You do not see in the Compassionate One’s creation, of these or of other things, any irregularity, any disparity or discordance.

Then cast your eyes again, turn them toward the heaven: Do you see, in it, any fissure? Any cracks or ruptures?

Think about the creation of the solar system and the atom; are not they the same?

Chapter 6 of the Quran (23) who accept the Call to Faith

The Quran says: Only those who hear in such a way so as to understand and take heed will answer the call to faith. As for those who have dead hearts, Allah will resurrect them, in the Hereafter, and then to Him they will be returned, and He will requite them for their deeds.

—————————————————————————————————–

The Prophet Muhammad was very caring and compassionate about his people, the unbelievers of Mecca. Muhammad was sad because he did not like them to face their terrible outcome in the life of this world and their dwelling in the Eternal Hell in the Afterlife.

The Verse 6:36 says: Only those who hear

Only those who hear, in such a way so as to understand and take heed, and who give their assent will answer your call to faith.

As for the dead, that is, the disbelievers; they were likened to them on account of their inability to hear Allah will resurrect them, in the Hereafter, and then to Him they will be returned, and He will requite them for their deeds.

It is also said that “As for the dead” means that the unbelievers have dead hearts that were unable to understand .

It is also said that “As for the dead” means those unbelievers who will be killed in the wars with the Muslims.

And this was their terrible outcome in the life of this world

The Verse 6:37 says: The disbelievers want a sign

The disbelievers of Mecca heard Muhammad reciting the verses of Quran that mention Allah’s miracle sent to his prophets e.g. the she-camel of the prophet Sālih or the staff of Moses or the miracles of Jesus. Mocking of Muhammad, the disbelievers said: Why has a sign not been sent down to Muhammad from his Lord?

Say, to them O Muhammad: ‘surely Allah has the power to send down a sign, from among those they have requested, but most of them do not know that its sending down would be a trial for them, for if they then still denied it, they would necessarily be destroyed.

—————————————————

The verse 6:36-37 in different translations

QARIB:

36) Those who listen will surely answer. as for the dead, Allah will revive them. to him they shall return.

37) They ask: ‘why has no sign been sent down to him from his lord? ‘Say: ‘Allah is able to send down a sign. ‘But most of them do not know.

SHAKIR:

36) Only those accept who listen; and (as to) the dead, Allah will raise them, then to him they shall be returned.

37) And they say: why has not a sign been sent down to him from his lord? Say: surely Allah is able to send down a sign, but most of them do not know

PICKTHAL:

36) Only those can accept who hear. As for the dead, Allah will raise them up; then unto him they will be returned.

37) They say: why hath no portent been sent down upon him from his lord? Say: lo! Allah is able to send down a portent. But most of them know not.

YUSUFALI:

36) Those who listen (in truth), be sure, will accept: as to the dead, Allah will raise them up; then will they be turned unto him.

37) They say: “why is not a sign sent down to him from his lord?” say: “Allah hath certainly power to send down a sign: but most of them understand not.

Chapter 6 of the Quran (22) Why Muhammad was Sad?

The Prophet Muhammad was very caring and compassionate about his people, the unbelievers of Mecca. Muhammad was sad because he predicted their outcome both in the life of this world and in the Afterlife.

—————————————————————————————————–

Allah has sent his messengers everynow and then in sequences to guide the people towards the straight path; that is Allah’s Path.

Most of the people denied his messengers; few people believed in them.

The case was the same with the Last Prophet Muhammad.

It happened throughout the history of mankind that Allah has punished those who denied His messengers in the life of this world and He will punish them severely in the Afterlife.

The Prophet Muhammad was very caring, thoughtful, concerned, and compassionate about his people, the unbelievers of Mecca.

He did all of his best to convince them about Islam and believe in Allah and not to worship their many idols but they kept denying him.

So, he was very upsed and sad because he knew and predicted their outcome both in the life of this world and in the Afterlife.

Muhammad wished that Allah sends them some miracles in order to make them believe and avoid their punishment in the life of this world and in the Afterlife.

Allah, the Knower of them and of everything, knows that they will never ever believe even if He has sent them many miracles. Allah knows that they were but arrogant, proud, conceited, supercilious etc.

The verse 6:35 of the Quran says:

And if their aversion to Islam, is grievous for you, on account of your concern for them, then, if you can seek out an underground tunnel in the earth, or a ladder, a stairway, to heaven, that you may bring them a sign, from among those they have requested, then go ahead.

The meaning is that you will not be able to do this, so be patient until Allah delivers His judgement and do not be among the ignorant, of this matter.

—————————————————

The verse 6:35 in different translations

QARIB:

If their turning away is hard upon you, seek if you can a tunnel in the ground or a ladder to the sky by which you can bring them a sign. Had Allah willed, he would gather them to guidance. Do not then be among the ignorant.

SHAKIR:

And if their turning away is hard on you, then if you can seek an opening (to go down) into the earth or a ladder (to ascend up) to heaven so that you should bring them a sign and if Allah had pleased he would certainly have gathered them all on guidance, therefore be not of the ignorant.

PICKTHAL:

And if their aversion is grievous unto thee, then, if thou canst, seek a way down into the earth or a ladder unto the sky that thou mayst bring unto them a portent (to convince them all)! – if Allah willed, he could have brought them all together to the guidance – so be not thou among the foolish ones.

YUSUFALI:

If their spurning is hard on thy mind, yet if thou wert able to seek a tunnel in the ground or a ladder to the skies and bring them a sign,- (what good?). if it were Allah’s will, he could gather them together unto true guidance: so be not thou amongst those who were swayed by ignorance (and impatience)!

Chapter 50 of the Quran (14) Paradise is for those…

In the previous article, the Angels is kept throwing thousands by thousands of the disbelievers in the Eternal Hell and they say to the Hell: are you filled up. The Hell keep saying: are there any more?

Finally, the Eternal Hell is filled up to the full and it is hugely overcrowded with its dwellers.

And this is the ultimate eternal abiding of the unbelievers.

What about the believers?

The verses 50: 31-33 say:

Not far anymore from them, the Allah-fearing servants, those who kept from evil and those who warded off disbelief, idolatry and indecencies, will see with joy the Eternal Garden that is prepared for them, whereupon it will be said to them:

This, that you see, is what you were promised in the life of the world.

This is for everyone who turned to Allah in sincere repentance and who kept his law.

This is for every penitent one who was reverting after sin to obedience of Allah.

This is for everyone who is mindful of the bounds of Allah’s religion.

This reward and honor is for every observant of Allah’s command in his private moment and n his prayers.

This reward is for everyone who fears His Beneficent Lord even he has not seen Him.

This honor is for everyone who fears His Compassionate Lord while He is in the Unseen.

This Paradise is for everyone who comes to Allah with a contrite heart, sincere in his worship and profession of Allah’s divine Oneness.
