Angels in Islam (19) the Angels’ number is countless

Do you know the Angels?

What are the Angels?

How many Angels has Allah created; what is their number?

—————————————–

Do you know the Angels?

Allah has created things of which you have no knowledge (the verse 16:8)

What are the Angels?

They are the hosts of the heavens and the servants of Allah (the verse 48:7)

Who has created the Angels?

Allah who is ever Mighty in His kingdom and Wise in His actions (the verse 48:7)

How many Angels has Allah created; what is their number?

He increases the creation as He wills (the verse 35:1)

Certainly, Muslims have no knowledge of precisely when the Angels were created, because there is no verse in the Quran to tell us this.

However, Muslims do know for sure that they were created before Mankind.

Also, Muslims know for certain that the number of Angels is much more than the number of human beings.

The Angels are many, and their number is known only to Allah who created them.

The Prophet Muhammad said, describing the Much-Frequented Visited House that is present in the heaven:

“Then I was taken up to the Much-Frequented Visited House: every day seventy thousand Angels visit it and leave, never returning to it again, another [group] coming after them.”

The Messenger of Allah, Muhammad, said: ‘Hell will be brought forth that day (the Last Day) by means of seventy thousand ropes, each of which will be pulled by seventy thousand Angels.”

Angels are the most numerous kind of creation of Allah. There are more Angels than the other creations of Allah, including the humans and jinn–even the trees.

Also, the Prophet Muhammad said:

There is no space equivalent to the width of four fingers in the sky except one would find an Angel mentioning (worshipping) Allah–either standing, bowing or prostrating. They stay as such worshipping Allah until the Day of Judgment.

There are countless numbers of Angels, and only Allah knows how many there are.

Allah does not love (1) the disbelievers

What the hypocrites said about Muhammad?

What every soul will wish at the Day of Judgment?

Allah warns mankind to be bewaring of Him

———————————————

On the Day of Judgment, Every soul will wish there were a great distance between it and its evil deeds.  Allah warns all of you to be bewaring of Him: Obey Allah and obey Muhammad; but if man turns away and does not obey, Lo! Allah does not love the disbelievers, meaning that He will chastise them.

———————————————

The meanings of verses 3:30-32 of the Noble Quran:

Verse 3:30 says that: On the Day of Judgment,

When every man will find himself confronted with all that he/she has done,

Everything of good and of evil is written in its register.

Every soul will wish there were a great distance between it and its evil deeds.

The Lord warns you of His Self.

Allah warns all of you to be beware of Him.

And Allah is full of pity for His bondmen.

He is full of pity for the believers.

When they said, ‘We only worship idols out of our love for God, that they might bring us close to Him’,

Verse 3:31 was revealed:

Say, O Muhammad, ‘If you love Allah, follow me, and Allah will love you,

Meaning that He will reward you, and forgive your sins;

Allah is Forgiving, as regards the sins, committed previously, by one who now follows the Prophet Muhammad; Merciful, to him.

This verse was revealed about the Jews who claimed they were the children of Allah and His beloved ones.

When this verse was revealed one of the hypocrites said: “Muhammad is commanding us to love him as the Christians loved Jesus”, and the Jews said: “Muhammad wants us to take him as a compassionate Lord, just as the Christians took Jesus as a compassionate Lord”.

Consequently, Allah revealed the verse 3:32 about their comments:

Say: Obey Allah regarding what He has obligated and obey the Messenger in his practices.

But if they turn away from obeying Allah and Muhammad

Lo! Allah does not love the disbelievers, meaning that He will chastise them.

This indicate that anyone denies Allah and His Prophet Muhammad is a disbeliever!

Chapter 6 of the Quran (55) Abraham’s Descendants – A

Allah guided Abraham to the straight path. Allah honoured Abraham by bestowing upon him and his Descendants prophethood and surrender to Allah. The idolators and astrologers.threatened Abraham that their gods will hurt him amd make him infertile. But, Abraham’s God, Allah, made him the father of the prophets.

—————————————————

In In the previous articles, Allah bestowed upon the wisdom and the knowledge. Allah guided him and showed to him the straight path to worship Him.

Allah invited Abraham to a miraculous trip in the space to show him that the stars, the sun, the planets and the moon are but creatures.

Abraham perfectly used his wisdom and knowledge to debate his people.

As you knew, Abraham’s people were idolators and astrologers.

The idolators used to worship many idols made of stones.

The astrologers were planets’ worshippers, moon’s worshippers and/or sun and stars’ worshippers.

Abraham’s father was among the idolators.

Abraham’s duty was to peacefully convince all those wrong worshippers that they are wrong.

Abraham told his father and the indlators that worshipping idols is but unreasonable because idols are not by any means our supreme Creator.

In addition, Abraham desired to show up his astrologers’ people that they are wrong in their belief.

Abraham gave them three indirect lessons to show them that they have mistaken believe in in the supreme Creator who has created the Sun, Moon, Stars, and Planets etc.

The first Abraham’s indirect teaching was to the group of his astrologers’ people who were planets’ worshippers and used to worship Venus.

The second Abraham’s indirect teaching was to the group of his astrologers’ people who were the moon’s worshippers.

The third Abraham’s indirect teaching was to the group of his astrologers’ people who were the Sun’s worshippers.

Abraham’s people, the idolators and the astrologers threatened him that their gods would severely harm him with many malicious things like diseases, poverty, infertility etc.

As a matter of fact, Abraham was infertile up to his age of eighty years.

Was that because those false gods had really harmed him so that he will never ever have a son?

The answer is found in Ayah 6:84; Allah says:

We guided Abraham to the straight path, the same as We have guided Noah before Abraham

We bestowed upon Abraham; Isaac and, his son, Jacob

We guided Isaac and, his son, Jacob, to the straight path.

We honoured them by bestowing upon them prophethood and surrender to Allah

Abraham was the seed of Noah

And among Noah and Abraham’s Descendants were David, Solomon, Job, Joseph, Moses and Aaron

We guided all of them by bestowing upon them prophethood and surrender to Allah.

All of them confess Allah’s divine Oneness; and this is how We requite the virtuous.

Moreover, their reward in the Afterlife will be great in the Eternal Paradise.

They threatened Abraham that their gods will hurt him amd make him infertile.

But, Abraham’s God, Allah, made Abraham the father of the prophets.

The verse 6:84 in different translations

QARIB:

We gave him isaac and jacob and guided both; and we guided noah before them, among his descendants were david and solomon, job, joseph, Moses and Aaron as such, we recompense the gooddoers,

SHAKIR:

And we gave to him ishaq and yaqoub; each did we guide, and nuh did we guide before, and of his descendants, dawood and sulaiman and ayub and yusuf and Haroun; and thus do we reward those who do good (to others)

PICKTHAL:

And we bestowed upon him Isaac and jacob; each of them we guided; and noah did we guide aforetime; and of his seed (we guided) david and solomon and job and joseph and Moses and Aaron. Thus do we reward the good.

YUSUFALI:

We gave him Isaac and Jacob: all (three) guided: and before him, we guided noah, and among his progeny, david, Solomon, Job, Joseph, Moses, and Aaron: thus do we reward those who do good:

Chapter 50 of the Quran (8) Man’s Obligatory Driver

The verse 50:20 says:

And the Horn or the Trumpet will be blown, for resurrection

This is the biggest sign of the hour.

It is said that it is like a huge electromagnetic shock with unbearable sound that everyone on the earth will hear it while he is shaken vigorously like the one subjected to a massive high voltage electric shock.

Hearing and feeling that means that we are on the day of the blast, it is the Day of Judgment.

It is the Day of the Promised Threat, of chastisement, for the disbelievers.

This is the threatened Day of the entire mankind.

Now, how man will come at the Day of Judgment.

Keep in mind that the earth is totally destroyed.

No houses, no roads, no plants, no mountains, no lands, no seas, everything on the earth and the earth itself is but nothing.

Then, man is just a flying tiny piece in the huge space around.

How then we know our way to go to the place wherein Allah will enquire man for his deeds?

The verse 50:21 solves this problem; it says:

And every soul will come, to the site for the Gathering, accompanied by a driver and a witness.

For each man there will be a driver to leads him to the site for the Gathering.

For each man there will be a witness to testify to his deeds.

Do you remember that Allah has engaged two angels for every man; their job is recording a person’s deeds.

One angel is at your right side and he is recording your good deeds.

The other angel is at your left side and he is recording your evil deeds.

This means that the two recording angels who were with every man in the life of this world will lead him to the gathering place and will testify either for him or against him.

It is should be emphasized that man’s witness at the Day of Judgment are not only the Angels in charge of recording his deeds but there are other built-in witnesses which man could not belied; they are:

  • Man’s tongue
  • Man’s hands
  • Man’s feet
  • Man’s…

Man’s tongue will testify saying: I said so and so.

Man’s hands will testify saying: I did so and so, I wrote so and so, I killed so and so etc.

Man’s feet will testify saying: I walked to so and so and I did so and so.

Then, the disbelievers and the evil-doers will be socked and would never and could never belie or deny their own organs. Would they? Could they?
