Atheists in Quran (2) their knowledge = guess

The Atheists’ knowledge is but guess; and they follow their guess to feel secure.

—————————–

Allah who create the Atheists knows how they think.

In this article, Allah uncovers how the Atheists think and say.

The Quran gives the appraisal of the Atheists’ knowledge more than 1400 years ago.

The Quran says that the Atheists’ knowledge is but guess; and they follow their guess to feel secure

The meanings of the verses 45:23-24:

Have you seen the Atheist O Muhammad?

  • He is the one, who has taken as his god his own desire.
  • He is too proud of himself to worship his desire.
  • He worships a deity because of the urge of his ego; whenever his ego desires something, he obeys it.

Allah does not love the arrogant proud, that is why Allah has led him astray

Allah set a seal upon his hearing and his heart, so that he cannot hear guidance or understand it, and laid a covering, a darkness, over his sight, so that he cannot perceive guidance and does not see the Truth.

Now, who will guide him to the religion of Allah after Allah has sent him astray?

Who will guide him after Allah?

That is to say, after His leading him astray.

In other words, he will not find guidance.

Will you not O Atheists then remember?

—————————–

The Atheists’ false feeling of security:

The Atheists deny the Resurrection

They deny the Day of Judgment, the Afterlife, the Eternal Fire and Paradise.

They do that to feel secure and to continue following their desire and obeying their ego.

The Atheists say:

The only life is our life that we live in this world

We live, we die, and nothing but the passage of time destroys us.

Naught destroyed us save time factor

When they have no knowledge, proof or argument whatsoever of that which they say;

Allah, exalted be He, says:

“Of that saying, they have no knowledge; they are only making conjectures.”

It means that they do but guess

They only guess when they say this.

It follows that the Atheists’ knowledge is but guess; and they follow their guess to feel secure.

Nonetheless, the Atheists’ guess will not change the fact that there are Resurrection, Day of Judgment, Afterlife, Eternal Fire and Paradise.

The verses 45:23-24 of the Noble Quran in different translations:

QARIB:

23- Have you seen he who took his desire for a god? With knowledge, Allah has led him astray, setting a seal upon his hearing and heart, and has made a veil over his eyes, who then shall guide him after Allah? Will you not then remember!

24- They say: ‘there is nothing except this life, we die and we live, it is only time that destroys us. ‘Surely, of this they have no knowledge, they are just guessing.

SHAKIR:

23- Have you then considered him who takes his low desire for his god, and Allah has made him err having knowledge and has set a seal upon his ear and his heart and put a covering upon his eye. Who can then guide him after Allah? Will you not then be mindful?

24- And they say: there is nothing but our life in this world; we live and die and nothing destroys us but time, and they have no knowledge of that; they only conjecture

PICKTHAL:

23- Hast thou seen him who maketh his desire his god, and Allah sendeth him astray purposely, and sealeth up his hearing and his heart, and setteth on his sight a covering? Then who will lead him after Allah (hath condemned him)? Will ye not then heed?

24- And they say: there is naught but our life of the world; we die and we live, and naught destroyeth us save time; when they have no knowledge whatsoever of (all) that; they do but guess.

YUSUFALI:

23- Then seest thou such a one as takes as his god his own vain desire? Allah has, knowing (him as such), left him astray, and sealed his hearing and his heart (and understanding), and put a cover on his sight. Who, then, will guide him after Allah (has withdrawn guidance)? Will ye not then receive admonition?

24- And they say: “what is there but our life in this world? we shall die and we live, and nothing but time can destroy us.” but of that they have no knowledge: they merely conjecture:

Angels in Islam (30) you might have seen them-B

You might have seen the Angels one day but you did not realize that they were Angels!

Read this real story of the Angel and the Leper, the Bald Man and the Blind Man; this story or the alikemight has happened to many people!

————————————-

A Real Story:

There were three very poor men, a leper, a blind man and a bald-headed man; they kept asking Allah all the time to heal them and to give them good property.

Then, what happened?

The Prophet Muhammad said:

Allah willed to test three men who were a leper, a blind man and a bald-headed man.

So, he sent them an Angel who came to the leper and said, “What thing do you like most?”

He replied, “Good color and good skin, for the people have a strong aversion to me.”

The Angel touched him and his illness was cured, and he was given a good color and beautiful skin.

The Angel asked him, “What kind of property do you like best?”

He replied, “Camels, so he (i.e. the leper) was given a pregnant she-camel, and

The Angel said to him: “May Allah bless you in it.”

The Angel then went to the bald-headed man and said, “What thing do you like most?”

He said, “I like good hair and wish to be cured of this disease, for the people feel repulsion for me.”

The Angel touched him and his illness was cured, and he was given good hair.

The Angel asked him: “What kind of property do you like best?”

He replied, “Cows.” The Angel gave him a pregnant cow and said: “May Allah bless you in it.”

The Angel went to the blind man and asked, ‘What thing do you like best?’

He said, “I like that Allah may restore my eye-sight to me so that I may see the people.”

The Angel touched his eyes and Allah gave him back his eye-sight.

The Angel asked him, “What kind of property do you like best?”

He replied, “Sheep.”

The Angel gave him a pregnant sheep and said: “May Allah bless you in it.”

Afterwards, all the three pregnant animals gave birth to young ones, and multiplied and brought forth so much that one of the three men had a herd of camels filling a valley, and one had a herd of cows filling a valley, and one had a flock of sheep filling a valley.

Then the Angel, disguised in the shape and appearance of a leper, went to the leper and said, “I am a poor man, who has lost all means of livelihood while on a journey. So none will satisfy my need except Allah and then you. In the Name of Him who has given you such nice color and beautiful skin, and so much property, I ask you to give me a camel so that I may reach my destination.”

The man replied, “I have many obligations (so I cannot give you).”

The Angel said, “I think I know you; were you not a leper to whom the people had a strong aversion? Weren’t you a poor man, and then Allah gave you all this property?”

He replied, “This is all wrong, I got this property through inheritance from my fore-fathers.”

The Angel said, “If you are telling a lie, then let Allah make you as you were before.”

Then the Angel, disguised in the shape and appearance of a bald man, went to the bald man and said to him the same as he told the first one, and he too answered the same as the first one did.

The Angel said, “If you are telling a lie, then let Allah make you as you were before.”

The Angel, disguised in the shape of a blind man, went to the blind man and said, “I am a poor man and a traveler, whose means of livelihood have been exhausted while on a journey. I have nobody to help me except Allah, and after Him, you yourself.

I ask you in the Name of Allah who has given you back your eye-sight to give me a sheep, so that with its help, I may complete my journey.”

The man said, “No doubt, I was blind and Allah gave me back my eye-sight; I was poor and Allah made me rich; so take anything you wish from my property. By Allah, I will not stop you for taking anything (you need) of my property which you may take for Allah’s sake.”

The Angel replied, “Keep your property with you.

You guys (i.e., the three men) have been tested and Allah is pleased with you and is angry with your two companions.”

It fruitful then to read this Allah’s Law (the verse 17:7)

QARIB:

‘If you do good, it shall be for your own souls; but if you do evil it is likewise.

SHAKIR:

If you do good, you will do good for your own souls, and if you do evil, it shall be for them.

PICKTHAL:

If ye do good, ye do good for your own souls, and if ye do evil, it is for them (in like manner).

YUSUFALI:

If ye did well, ye did well for yourselves; if ye did evil, (ye did it) against yourselves.

Allah is Asks you (16) who is greater in evil than those who invent a lie against Allah–C

The likeness of the disbelievers and the believers in the Quran

The Criteria of the Believers in the Quran

————————————————————-

In a previous article, Allah is asking mankind this question: has Muhammad invented the Quran?

Then Allah challenged those who said that to bring 200 Arabic words the like thereof of the Quran.

In this article, Allah said: who is greater in evil than those who invent a lie against Allah?

Then He said: the likeness of the believers and the disbelievers is as the blind and the deaf and the seeing and the hearing: are they equal when compared? Will you not remember?

————————————————————-

In the Noble Quran, Allah is asking mankind some important questions.

It seems compulsory for the serious one who is looking for the truth to have a look at those questions and if possible to answer them.

Allah’ questions are many.  In this series, these questions are chosen randomly.

————————————————————-

We have seen that the Verses 11:18-19, as we have seen before, give this question: Who is greater in evil and who does greater wrong than he who invented a lie concerning Allah?

Also, we have seen that the Verses 11:20-22, as we have seen in the previous article) describe how and why they are the great losers those who invent a lie against Allah

What is a lie against Allah?

To ascribe to Him partner, equivalent and/or a son,

To claim that you are a prophet while you are not,

To claim that you have got Revealed Scripture while you do not,

To claim that Muhammad is not a Prophet although He is, and

To claim that the Quran is not the book Revealed by Allah

Verses 11:23-24 give the question of this article:

The likeness of the believers and the disbelievers is as the blind and the deaf and the seeing and the hearing: are they equal when compared? Will you not remember?

————————————————————-

The meanings of the verses 11:23-24

Verse 11:23 says:

Truly those who believe in Muhammad and in the Quran and

They Perform righteous deeds and do acts of obedience between themselves and their Lord

They humble themselves before their Lord,

They are at peace and feel reassured, and

They are sincere and surrendered to their Lord

They repent, before their Lord,

Such will be the inhabitants of Paradise, abiding therein.

Such are rightful owners of the Paradise; they will abide therein forever!

Verse 11:24 says:

The likeness, the description, of the two parties, the disbelievers and the believers, is as the blind and the deaf, this being the likeness of the disbeliever, and the one who sees and the one who hears, this being the likeness of the believer, are they equal in likeness? No! Will you not then remember?

In other words, the similitude of the two parties, the believer and the disbeliever (is as the blind and the deaf), the disbeliever is like the blind person: he does not see the Truth or guidance, and he is also like the deaf person: he does not hear the Truth or guidance,

And the disbeliever is like the seer and the hearer person

For he sees the Truth and guidance, just as he is like the hearer, for he hears the Truth and guidance.

Are they equal in similitude?

Are the believer and disbeliever equal in obedience and reward?

Will ye not then be admonished?

Will you not be admonished by the similes of the Quran such that you believe?

————————————————————-

Verses 11:23-24 in different translations:

QARIB:

23) Whereas those who believe and do good deeds and humble themselves before their lord, they are the companions of paradise, and there they shall live for ever.

24) The likeness of the two parties is as one who is blind and deaf, and one that sees and hears, are they equally alike, will you not remember?

SHAKIR:

23) Surely (as to) those who believe and do good and humble themselves to their lord, these are the dwellers of the garden, in it they will abide

24) The likeness of the two parties is as the blind and the deaf and the seeing and the hearing: are they equal in condition? Will you not then mind?

PICKTHAL:

23) Lo! Those who believe and do good works and humble themselves before their lord: such are rightful owners of the garden; they will abide therein.

24) The similitude of the two parties is as the blind and the deaf and the seer and the hearer. are they equal in similitude? Will ye not then be admonished?

YUSUFALI:

23) But those who believe and work righteousness, and humble themselves before their lord,- they will be companions of the gardens, to dwell therein for aye!

24) These two kinds (of men) may be compared to the blind and deaf, and those who can see and hear well. Are they equal when compared? Will ye not then take heed?

Chapter 6 of the Quran (53) Abraham’s Religion – C

Abraham said to his people: How should I fear what you worship as gods when they can neither profit nor harm? How should I fear your idols when they can neither help nor hurt? How should I fear the sun when it is one of the creatures of the Almighty Creator? How come that you do not fear Allah, you Almighty Creator when He has power over all things?

—————————————————

In the previous articles, Abraham directly and indirectly told his people that it is unreasonable to worship the idols, the Sun, the Moon, the Stars, and the Planets. He said to them that these things they used to worship as god(s) are but irrational.

Abraham said to them that they should worship the originator of the heavens and the earth.

Abraham’s people disputed with him and argued with him about his belief.

Abraham’s people threatened him that their gods would strike him with evil if he criticized them; they said that their gods would strike Abraham with diseases, poverty, infertility etc.

Abraham said: I have no fear of what you associate with Him, in the way of false gods, that they might strike me with some evil, since they have no power to do anything.

.

In Ayah 6:81, Abraham continued:

How should I fear what you worship as gods when they can neither profit nor harm.

How should I fear your idols when they can neither help nor hurt?

How should I fear the sun when it is one of the creatures of the Almighty Creator?

How should I fear the moon when it is one of the creatures of the Almighty Creator?

How come that you do not fear that you have associated with Allah, in worship, that for which He has not revealed to you any warrant?

How come that you do not fear that you worship instead of Allah gods that you do not have any proof that they have created you?

How come that you do not fear Allah, you Almighty Creator when He has power over all things?

Abraham conyinued saying:

Now, which of the two parties has more right to security and to feel safe, those who worship Allah or those who worship your gods? Answer if you have any wisdom and knowledge

—————————————————

The verse 6:81 in different translations

QARIB:

And how should I fear what you have associated when you yourselves are not afraid that you have associated with Allah that which he did not send down for it upon you an authority. Which of the two parties is more deserving of safety, if you know?

SHAKIR:

And how should I fear what you have set up (with him), while you do not fear that you have set up with Allah that for which he has not sent down to you any authority; which then of the two parties is surer of security, if you know?

PICKTHAL:

How should I fear that which ye set up beside him, when ye fear not to set up beside Allah that for which he hath revealed unto you no warrant? Which of the two factions hath more right to safety? (answer me that) if ye have knowledge.

YUSUFALI:

“How should I fear (the beings) ye associate with Allah, when ye fear not to give partners to Allah without any warrant having been given to you? Which of (us) two parties hath more right to security? (tell me) if ye know.
