Atheists in Quran (2) their knowledge = guess

The Atheists’ knowledge is but guess; and they follow their guess to feel secure.

—————————–

Allah who create the Atheists knows how they think.

In this article, Allah uncovers how the Atheists think and say.

The Quran gives the appraisal of the Atheists’ knowledge more than 1400 years ago.

The Quran says that the Atheists’ knowledge is but guess; and they follow their guess to feel secure

The meanings of the verses 45:23-24:

Have you seen the Atheist O Muhammad?

  • He is the one, who has taken as his god his own desire.
  • He is too proud of himself to worship his desire.
  • He worships a deity because of the urge of his ego; whenever his ego desires something, he obeys it.

Allah does not love the arrogant proud, that is why Allah has led him astray

Allah set a seal upon his hearing and his heart, so that he cannot hear guidance or understand it, and laid a covering, a darkness, over his sight, so that he cannot perceive guidance and does not see the Truth.

Now, who will guide him to the religion of Allah after Allah has sent him astray?

Who will guide him after Allah?

That is to say, after His leading him astray.

In other words, he will not find guidance.

Will you not O Atheists then remember?

—————————–

The Atheists’ false feeling of security:

The Atheists deny the Resurrection

They deny the Day of Judgment, the Afterlife, the Eternal Fire and Paradise.

They do that to feel secure and to continue following their desire and obeying their ego.

The Atheists say:

The only life is our life that we live in this world

We live, we die, and nothing but the passage of time destroys us.

Naught destroyed us save time factor

When they have no knowledge, proof or argument whatsoever of that which they say;

Allah, exalted be He, says:

“Of that saying, they have no knowledge; they are only making conjectures.”

It means that they do but guess

They only guess when they say this.

It follows that the Atheists’ knowledge is but guess; and they follow their guess to feel secure.

Nonetheless, the Atheists’ guess will not change the fact that there are Resurrection, Day of Judgment, Afterlife, Eternal Fire and Paradise.

The verses 45:23-24 of the Noble Quran in different translations:

QARIB:

23- Have you seen he who took his desire for a god? With knowledge, Allah has led him astray, setting a seal upon his hearing and heart, and has made a veil over his eyes, who then shall guide him after Allah? Will you not then remember!

24- They say: ‘there is nothing except this life, we die and we live, it is only time that destroys us. ‘Surely, of this they have no knowledge, they are just guessing.

SHAKIR:

23- Have you then considered him who takes his low desire for his god, and Allah has made him err having knowledge and has set a seal upon his ear and his heart and put a covering upon his eye. Who can then guide him after Allah? Will you not then be mindful?

24- And they say: there is nothing but our life in this world; we live and die and nothing destroys us but time, and they have no knowledge of that; they only conjecture

PICKTHAL:

23- Hast thou seen him who maketh his desire his god, and Allah sendeth him astray purposely, and sealeth up his hearing and his heart, and setteth on his sight a covering? Then who will lead him after Allah (hath condemned him)? Will ye not then heed?

24- And they say: there is naught but our life of the world; we die and we live, and naught destroyeth us save time; when they have no knowledge whatsoever of (all) that; they do but guess.

YUSUFALI:

23- Then seest thou such a one as takes as his god his own vain desire? Allah has, knowing (him as such), left him astray, and sealed his hearing and his heart (and understanding), and put a cover on his sight. Who, then, will guide him after Allah (has withdrawn guidance)? Will ye not then receive admonition?

24- And they say: “what is there but our life in this world? we shall die and we live, and nothing but time can destroy us.” but of that they have no knowledge: they merely conjecture:

Chapter 6 of the Quran (29) what if Allah was to seize…

The Quran says: Have the unbelievers considered, if Allah was to seize their hearing, if He was to make them deaf, to make you blind, and set a seal upon their hearts, so that they no longer knew anything?

—————————————————————————————————-

Who is our Almighty Creator? He is Allah.

Who gives man the hearing to hear the guidance and the fruitful instructions? He is Allah.

Who gives man the sight to see the truth and the straight path? He is Allah.

Who gives man the heart to perceive the Truth? He is Allah.

Have the unbelievers anywhere and elsewhere considered, if Allah was to seize their hearing, if He was to make them deaf, to make you blind, and set a seal upon their hearts, so that they no longer knew anything?

In Ayah 6:46, Allah command ed His Last Prophet Muhammad to say to the unbelievers of Mecca:

Say: Have you imagined and then what you were saying, O people of Mecca,

  • If Allah should take away your hearing such that you do not hear any admonition or guidance
  • If Allah should take away your your sight such that you do not see the Truth and
  • If Allah seal your hearts such that you do not perceive the Truth or guidance,

Then, who is the God referring here to the idols (who could restore all of that to you (that which Allah has taken away from you) save Allah?

See O Muhammad how Allah displays His revelations unto them and how Allah explains and simplifys the facts in the Quran to them?

Yet still they turn away and they deny the revelations.

In other words, see O Muhammad how Allah makes clear, the signs, the proofs of His Oneness! Yet thereafter they were turning away, they reject them and do not believe.

The verse 6:46 in different translations

QARIB:

Say: ‘what would you see if Allah took away your hearing and your sight, and set a seal upon your hearts, who is a god, other than Allah, to bring it back to you? ‘Look how we make plain to them our verses, and yet they turn away.

SHAKIR:

Say: have you considered that if Allah takes away your hearing and your sight and sets a seal on your hearts, who is the god besides Allah that can bring it to you? See how we repeat the communications, yet they turn away.

PICKTHAL:

Say: have ye imagined, if Allah should take away your hearing and your sight and seal your hearts, who is the Allah who could restore it to you save Allah? see how we display the revelations unto them! Yet still they turn away.

YUSUFALI:

Say: “think ye, if Allah took away your hearing and your sight, and sealed up your hearts, who – a god other than Allah – could restore them to you?” see how we explain the signs by various (symbols); yet they turn aside.

Chapter 6 of the Quran (15) Muhammad’s Uncle, Abu Talib

Two amazing issues; the idolators know Allah but they also worship idols. And, Abu Talib used to defend Muhamad against the idolaters of Mecca but, at the same time, he was one of the unbelievers.

————————————————————————————-

The background of Ayah 6:26

The character of the story: Abu Talib (the Prophet Muhammad’s Uncle)

Abu Talib used to defend Muhamad against the unbelievers and idolaters of Mecca; he kept warning them against harming the Prophet Muhammad, but, at the same time, he kept away from that which was revealed to him and Abu Talib was one of the unbelievers. Why is that? He used to say: it is shameful for me to leave the religion of my fathr and my grand fathers!

One day, the Prophet Muhammad went to see his uncle Abu Talib to invite him to embrace Islam. At the same time, many of the chief idolators of Mecca gathered at Abu Talib’s house, intending to harm the Prophet, to take permission from Abu Talib to maltreat and hurt Muhammad. Abu Talib did not give them permission and warned them iagainst harming Muhammad.

Abu Talib said unto Muhammad: By Allah, they will not reach to you with all their numbers until I am laid buried in the
ground. So carry on with you matter unobstructed and receive a glad tiding and peace of mind. And you have presented a religion which is most certainly one of the best religions on earth. Had it not been for fear of criticism or being insulted you would have found me a firm believer in it.

Herein, it is interesting to know that the idolators of Mecca and so were the entire Arabs used to worship Allah as the supreme God but the used to worship the idols too, they believed that the idols were the Angels daughters of Allah and they were the gate to go to Allah.

Well, what the idolaters of Mecca have done after meeting Abu Talib? They stayed away from Muhammad fearing his uncle abu Talib, but they used to forbid people from following Muhammad!

Then Allah, exalted is He, revealed the verse 6:26; it says:

They forbid the people from ffrom Muhammad and the Quran and keep away from it.

It is also said that this was revealed regarding Abu Talib, who used to forbid people from hurting Muhammad, but he did not himself believe in him!

Allah is warning the unbelievers wherever they were saying:

They do not realise that they carry the same sins of the men they were warning. It is only themselves they destroy, when they keep away from Muhammad, because the harm thereof will befall them, but they do not perceive this.

The verse 6:26 in different translations

QARIB:

They forbid from it (the koran) and keep away from it. They destroy none except themselves, though they do not sense it.

SHAKIR:

And they prohibit (others) from it and go far away from it, and they only bring destruction upon their own souls while they do not perceive.

PICKTHAL:

And they forbid (men) from it and avoid it, and they ruin none save themselves, though they perceive not.

YUSUFALI:

Others they keep away from it, and themselves they keep away; but they only destroy their own souls, and they perceive it not.
