And they did not do us any harm, but they did injustice to their own souls

161) And when it was said to them: reside in this town and eat from it wherever you wish, and say, put down from us our heavy burdens: and enter the gate making obeisance, we will forgive you your wrongs: we will give more to those who do good (to others)

161) And when it was said unto them: dwell in this township and eat therefrom whence ye will, and say “repentance,” and enter the gate prostrate; we shall forgive you your sins; we shall increase (reward) for the right-doers.

This is Allah (51) Allah Expounds the Quran for People Who Believe

Allah Will Revive the Dead From their Graves Just As He Revives the Dead Land. Remember

The Winds, Clouds and Rains Are Types of Allah‘s Mercy

The Believers are similar to the good land of rich soil

The Miserable Product of the Bad Soil is the Similitude of the Disbeliever

——————————————-

This series is an attempt to help the people to know Allah, their Creator.

The Verses 7:57-58 of the Noble Quran talk about:

1) The Winds, Clouds and Rains Are Types of Allah‘s Mercy,

2) Allah Will Revive the Dead From their Graves Just As He Revives the Dead Land; Remember,

3) The Believer is similar to the good land of rich soil,

4) The Miserable Product of the Bad Soil is the Similitude of the Disbeliever and

5) Allah expounds the Quran for people who believe.

——————————————-

The meaning of verse 7:57

It is Allah Who sends the winds, unfolding with His mercy, that is, dispersing before the rains with which He is bearing good tidings heralding His mercy; until, when they, the winds, bear heavy clouds, with rain, We lead it, that is, Allah leads the clouds to a dead land, one devoid of any vegetation, in other words, Allah leads the clouds there in order to revive it, and then Allah sends down thereon, on that land, and bring forth thereby, by this water, fruits of every kind. Like that, bringing forth, Allah shall bring forth the dead, from their graves, through revivification, so that you might remember, and believe.

In other words, just as Allah revives the earth with vegetation, Allah shall revive and bring forth the dead from their graves. Haply you may remember, haply you may take heed.

The meaning of verse 7:58

As for the good land, the one of rich soil, its vegetation comes forth, wholesomely, by permission of its Lord — this is a similitude of the believer who, when he hears an admonition, he heeds it and benefits from it. While as for the, one whose soil is, bad — the vegetation in, it comes forth only miserably, laboriously and with difficulty — this is the similitude of the disbeliever. Even, as Allah has made clear what has been mentioned, so He dispenses, He makes clear, the signs for a people who are thankful, to Allah and so believe.

In other words, the verse says: As for the good land which is not a swamp, its vegetation comes forth by permission of its Lord, by the will of its Lord without toil or effort, just as the sincere believer fulfils that which Allah commands him to do voluntarily and with the good disposition of his soul; while as for that which is bad, the bad, swampy land, only the useless comes forth from it, its vegetation comes forth only with toil and great effort. The hypocrite does not perform that which Allah commands him to do except when compelled and without a good disposition of the soul. Thus does Allah recount the tokens, He expounds the Quran by giving the simile of the believer and the disbeliever for people who give thanks, for people who believe.

Verses 7:57-58in different English translations of the meanings of Arabic Quran:

QARIB:

57) He sends forth the winds as carriers of the glad tidings between the hands of his mercy, and when they have carried up a heavy cloud, we drive it on to some dead land and therewith send down water bringing forth all manner of fruit. as such we will raise the dead, in order that you remember.

58) Good land yields its vegetation by the permission of its Lord. while the corrupted yields only the scanty. so we make plain the verses to those who are thankful.

SHAKIR:

57) And he it is who sends forth the winds bearing good news before his mercy, until, when they bring up a laden cloud, we drive it to a dead land, then we send down water on it, then bring forth with it of fruits of all kinds; thus shall we bring forth the dead that you may be mindful

58) And as for the good land, its vegetation springs forth (abundantly) by the permission of its Lord, and (as for) that which is inferior (its herbage) comes forth but scantily; thus do we repeat the communications for a people who give thanks

PICKTHAL:

57) And he it is who sendeth the winds as tidings heralding his mercy, till, when they bear a cloud heavy (with rain), we lead it to a dead land, and then cause water to descend thereon and thereby bring forth fruits of every kind. thus bring we forth the dead. haply ye may remember.

58) As for the good land, its vegetation cometh forth by permission of its Lord; while as for that which is bad, only the useless cometh forth (from it). thus do we recount the tokens for people who give thanks.

YUSUFALI:

57) It is he who sendeth the winds like heralds of glad tidings, going before his mercy: when they have carried the heavy-laden clouds, we drive them to a land that is dead, make rain to descend thereon, and produce every kind of harvest therewith: thus shall we raise up the dead: perchance ye may remember.

58) From the land that is clean and good, by the will of its cherisher, springs up produce, (rich) after its kind: but from the land that is bad, springs up nothing but that which is niggardly: thus do we explain the signs by various (symbols) to those who are grateful.

Chapter 6 of the Quran (74) Turn this Mountain into Gold’

They said: ‘Turn this mountain into gold’.  Muhammad said: ‘Would you believe in me if I did as you ask?’  They said: ‘Yes, by Allah, if you do, we will all follow you’. The Prophet Muhammad stood up and began supplicating. Then, the Angel Gabriel came to him and said…

——————————————-

Mockingly, the disbelievers of Mecca said to the Prophet Muhammad:

‘You told us that Moses had a staff with which he struck a stone and twelve springs gushed forth, and that Jesus revived the dead, and that Thamud had a camel emerged from a rock; why do you not bring us some of those signs so that we believe in you?’

Muhammad asked them: ‘What sign do you want me to bring you?’

They said: ‘Turn this mountain into gold’.

Muhammad said: ‘Would you believe in me if I did as you ask?’

They said: ‘Yes, by Allah, if you do, we will all follow you’.

The Prophet Muhammad stood up and began supplicating.

Then, the Angel Gabriel came to him and said:

‘If you wish, I can turn this mountain into gold.

However, never did Allah send a sign that people disbelieved in except that He sent severe chastisement after it.

The Prophet Muhammad was afraid of Allah’s severe chastisement upon them if they have got the sign and remained denying and disbelieve.

Then, Allah revealed Ayah 6:109; it says:

And, sarcastically, the disbelievers of Mecca swear a solemn oath by Allah, if there come unto them a sign as they have asked they will believe in that sign and they will believe Muhammad and the Quran.

When one swears by Allah, it is an utmost oath; however, they were mocking!

Say O Muhammad, to those who sneer and their folk:

Portents are with Allah

The signs only come from Allah and and He sends them down as He wills and when He wills He wills

I am but a warner.

How would you know O believers if they have believed, if these signs did come to them?

How do you know, O believers that if such signs came unto them

§  They will not believe in the sign and.

§  They would not believe in Allah.

—————————————————

The verse 6:109 in different translations

QARIB:

They solemnly swear by Allah that if a sign is given to them they would believe in it. say: ‘signs are only with Allah. ‘And how can you tell if it comes they will not believe. ‘

SHAKIR:

And they swear by Allah with the strongest of their oaths, that if a sign came to them they would most certainly believe in it. Say: signs are only with Allah; and what should make you know that when it comes they will not believe?

PICKTHAL:

And they swear a solemn oath by Allah that if there come unto them a portent they will believe therein. Say; portents are with Allah and (so is) that which telleth you that if such came unto them they would not believe.

YUSUFALI:

They swear their strongest oaths by Allah, that if a (special) sign came to them, by it they would believe. Say: “certainly (all) signs are in the power of Allah: but what will make you (Muslims) realise that (even) if (special) signs came, they will not believe.”?

Allah asks you (10) which is harder in Creation, the man or the heaven?

1)    Allah has set firm the Mountains on the face of the Earth

2)    The Quran says: Allah has Created the Earth like an Egg-shaped ball

Allah is asking mankind this question: Which is harder in Creation, you or the heaven?  Which is more difficult to create, you the little man or this unlimited heaven?

Allah made the heaven rise high; He made its vertical extension high even and flawless.  And Allah made the earth like an Egg-shaped ball; this is a scientific fact that has been discovered after the revelation of the Quran by about 1400 years!

———————–

In the Noble Quran, Allah is asking mankind some important questions.

It seems compulsory for the serious one who is looking for the truth to have a look at those questions and if possible to answer them.

Allah’ questions are many. In this series, these questions are chosen randomly.

The question in this article is to all the disbelievers:

Which is harder in Creation, you or the heaven?

Which is more difficult to create, you the little man or this unlimited heaven?

Allah made the heaven rise high; He made its vertical extension high even and flawless.   And He made the earth like an Egg-shaped ball; this is a scientific fact that has been discovered after the revelation of the Quran by about 1400 years!

Verses 79:27- 32 give the question of this article and talk about it

The meanings of Verses 79:27- 32

Verse 79:27 says:

Are you, the deniers of the Resurrection, harder or difficult to create (to resurrect) or the heaven which Allah has made, (built, constructed)?

Verse 79:28 says:

He made it (the heaven) rise high

He made its vertical extension high even and flawless

Verse 79:29 says:

And He made dark the night thereof, and He brought forth the morn thereof) and He made its day and sun clear.

Verse 79:30 says:

And He spread out the earth: even then He spread it on the water; He made it flat,

However, the Arabic word used in the verse to describe the shape of the earth is “Da-ha-ha”, it means He made the earth like an Egg-shaped ball.  This indicates that the Quran gave the exact shape of the earth, the egg-like; this scientific fact was discovered after the revelation of the Quran by about 1400 years!

Verse 79:31 says:

He has brought forth from the earth its waters, by making its springs gush forth, as well as the water buried deep in the belly of the earth and its pastures thereof, what cattle graze, of trees and herbage, and what humans consume of foods and fruits

Verse 79:32 says:

And has set firm the mountains (He made fast the hills), on the face of the earth so that it stays still.  This verse describes in one word the role played by the mountains that makes the Earth still.  This scientific meaning was only discovered after the revelation of the Quran by about1400 years!

Verses 79:27- 32 in different translations:

Verse 79:27

QARIB:

27) What, are you harder to create than the heaven which he has built?

28) He raised it high and leveled it,

29) And darkened its night and brought forth its morning.

30) And the earth he extended after that;

31) And then brought from it its water and pastures.

32) And the mountains he set firm

SHAKIR:

27) Are you the harder to create or the heaven? he made it

28) He raised high its height, then put it into a right good state

29) And he made dark its night and brought out its light

30) And the earth, he expanded it after that

31) He brought forth from it its water and its pasturage

32) And the mountains, he made them firm,

PICKTHAL:

27) Are ye the harder to create, or is the heaven that he built?

28) He raised the height thereof and ordered it;

29) And he made dark the night thereof, and he brought forth the morn thereof.

30) And after that he spread the earth,

31) And produced therefrom the water thereof and the pasture thereof,

32) And he made fast the hills,

YUSUFALI:

27) What! Are ye the more difficult to create or the heaven (above)? (Allah) hath constructed it:

28) On high hath he raised its canopy, and he hath given it order and perfection.

29) Its night doth he endow with darkness, and its splendour doth he bring out (with light).

30) And the earth, moreover, hath he extended (to a wide expanse);

31) He draweth out therefrom its moisture and its pasture;

32) And the mountains hath he firmly fixed;-
