This is Allah (51) Allah Expounds the Quran for People Who Believe

Allah Will Revive the Dead From their Graves Just As He Revives the Dead Land. Remember

The Winds, Clouds and Rains Are Types of Allah‘s Mercy

The Believers are similar to the good land of rich soil

The Miserable Product of the Bad Soil is the Similitude of the Disbeliever

——————————————-

This series is an attempt to help the people to know Allah, their Creator.

The Verses 7:57-58 of the Noble Quran talk about:

1) The Winds, Clouds and Rains Are Types of Allah‘s Mercy,

2) Allah Will Revive the Dead From their Graves Just As He Revives the Dead Land; Remember,

3) The Believer is similar to the good land of rich soil,

4) The Miserable Product of the Bad Soil is the Similitude of the Disbeliever and

5) Allah expounds the Quran for people who believe.

——————————————-

The meaning of verse 7:57

It is Allah Who sends the winds, unfolding with His mercy, that is, dispersing before the rains with which He is bearing good tidings heralding His mercy; until, when they, the winds, bear heavy clouds, with rain, We lead it, that is, Allah leads the clouds to a dead land, one devoid of any vegetation, in other words, Allah leads the clouds there in order to revive it, and then Allah sends down thereon, on that land, and bring forth thereby, by this water, fruits of every kind. Like that, bringing forth, Allah shall bring forth the dead, from their graves, through revivification, so that you might remember, and believe.

In other words, just as Allah revives the earth with vegetation, Allah shall revive and bring forth the dead from their graves. Haply you may remember, haply you may take heed.

The meaning of verse 7:58

As for the good land, the one of rich soil, its vegetation comes forth, wholesomely, by permission of its Lord — this is a similitude of the believer who, when he hears an admonition, he heeds it and benefits from it. While as for the, one whose soil is, bad — the vegetation in, it comes forth only miserably, laboriously and with difficulty — this is the similitude of the disbeliever. Even, as Allah has made clear what has been mentioned, so He dispenses, He makes clear, the signs for a people who are thankful, to Allah and so believe.

In other words, the verse says: As for the good land which is not a swamp, its vegetation comes forth by permission of its Lord, by the will of its Lord without toil or effort, just as the sincere believer fulfils that which Allah commands him to do voluntarily and with the good disposition of his soul; while as for that which is bad, the bad, swampy land, only the useless comes forth from it, its vegetation comes forth only with toil and great effort. The hypocrite does not perform that which Allah commands him to do except when compelled and without a good disposition of the soul. Thus does Allah recount the tokens, He expounds the Quran by giving the simile of the believer and the disbeliever for people who give thanks, for people who believe.

Verses 7:57-58in different English translations of the meanings of Arabic Quran:

QARIB:

57) He sends forth the winds as carriers of the glad tidings between the hands of his mercy, and when they have carried up a heavy cloud, we drive it on to some dead land and therewith send down water bringing forth all manner of fruit. as such we will raise the dead, in order that you remember.

58) Good land yields its vegetation by the permission of its Lord. while the corrupted yields only the scanty. so we make plain the verses to those who are thankful.

SHAKIR:

57) And he it is who sends forth the winds bearing good news before his mercy, until, when they bring up a laden cloud, we drive it to a dead land, then we send down water on it, then bring forth with it of fruits of all kinds; thus shall we bring forth the dead that you may be mindful

58) And as for the good land, its vegetation springs forth (abundantly) by the permission of its Lord, and (as for) that which is inferior (its herbage) comes forth but scantily; thus do we repeat the communications for a people who give thanks

PICKTHAL:

57) And he it is who sendeth the winds as tidings heralding his mercy, till, when they bear a cloud heavy (with rain), we lead it to a dead land, and then cause water to descend thereon and thereby bring forth fruits of every kind. thus bring we forth the dead. haply ye may remember.

58) As for the good land, its vegetation cometh forth by permission of its Lord; while as for that which is bad, only the useless cometh forth (from it). thus do we recount the tokens for people who give thanks.

YUSUFALI:

57) It is he who sendeth the winds like heralds of glad tidings, going before his mercy: when they have carried the heavy-laden clouds, we drive them to a land that is dead, make rain to descend thereon, and produce every kind of harvest therewith: thus shall we raise up the dead: perchance ye may remember.

58) From the land that is clean and good, by the will of its cherisher, springs up produce, (rich) after its kind: but from the land that is bad, springs up nothing but that which is niggardly: thus do we explain the signs by various (symbols) to those who are grateful.

Allah loves (15) the equitable, those who judge justly

What if there is a War between Two Believers Clans?

How to make peace between two fighting countries?

If man is biased, Wars will never end!

If man is Just, Wars will stop!

In the previous articles, we have seen that Allah loves those:

1) the kind good doers,

2) those who turn to him and those who are Clean and Pure, 3) those who guard against evil,

4) those who put their Trust in Him,

5) those who are firm and steadfast,

6) the virtuous,

7) the charitable,

8) judge in equity,

9) those who are just and are not biased,

10) the good doers who keep their Covenant,

11) the generous,

12) those who keep their duty,

13) those who purify themselves physically and spiritually and

14) those who are firm when they fight in his cause.

In this article, Allah loves the equitable, those who judge justly.

Verse 49:9 says that Allah loves the equitable,

Those who weigh with justice,

Those who judge fairly,

Those who judge justly by the Quran,

The verse talks about the occasion when two parties of believers fall to fighting each other.

This verse was revealed when some Muslims fell to fighting because of some offensive words.

Fighting then ensued between the two clans with fists, sandals and palm branches being thrown about.

And so Allah forbade them from fighting each other and commanded them to make up, saying: And if two parties of believers fall to fighting then make peace between them by referring to the Book of Allah.  And if one party of them persists and transgresses against the other party and refuses to make peace by referring the matter to the Quran,

Fight you that which does wrong till it return unto the ordinance of Allah.

Fight that party until it accepts to make peace by referring to the ordinances of the Quran.

In other words, if one of them aggresses against the other, fight the one which aggresses until it returns to God’s ordinance, to the truth. Then, if it returns, reconcile them, fairly, and act justly. Surely God loves the just.

Then, if it returns, if it accepts to make peace by referring the matter to the Book of Allah, make peace between them justly, and act equitably towards both parties.

Lo! Allah loves the equitable

Those who weigh with justice,

Those who judge fairly,

Those who judge justly by the Quran,

Those who judge justly by the Book of Allah, and act upon it

The verse put the realistic solution to make peace between

Two fighting parties or

Two fighting clans or

Two fighting countries

This realistic solution is Just one word, deal with the two parties by JUSTICE, and do not be biased.

Hence, any war that fails to cease is due to the lack of JUSTICE!  And this is the responsibility of mankind

———————————————————

Verse 49:9 in different translations:

QARIB:

If two parties of believers fight, reform between them. If either of them is insolent against the other, fight the insolent one till they revert to the order of Allah. If they revert, reform between them with justice, and weigh with justice. Allah loves those who weigh with justice.

SHAKIR:

And if two parties of the believers quarrel, make peace between them; but if one of them acts wrongfully towards the other, fight that which acts wrongfully until it returns to Allah’s command; then if it returns, make peace between them with justice and act equitably; surely Allah loves those who act equitably

PICKTHAL:

And if two parties of believers fall to fighting, then make peace between them. and if one party of them doeth wrong to the other, fight ye that which doeth wrong till it return unto the ordinance of Allah; then, if it return, make peace between them justly, and act equitably. lo! Allah loveth the equitable.

YUSUFALI:

If two parties among the believers fall into a quarrel, make ye peace between them: but if one of them transgresses beyond bounds against the other, then fight ye (all) against the one that transgresses until it complies with the command of Allah; but if it complies, then make peace between them with justice, and be fair: for Allah loves those who are fair (and just).

Verse 9:108 says that Allah loves those who purify themselves physically and spiritually.

Verse 9:107 was revealed after the hypocrites built a place for prayer!

The Story was: some hypocrites thought to build a mosque and sent for Muhammad, to come to them.  When they finished building this mosque, they went to Muhammad, and said: ‘We have built a mosque for the sick and the needy and also for use in rainy and wintry nights, and we would like you to come and pray in it’.

They will swear: ‘We desired nothing, by building it, but, to do good’, by way of kindness towards the poor in times of heavy rain or extreme heat and in order to provide a place of worship for the Muslims;

And God bears witness that they are truly liars, in their claim of theirs.

They had asked Muhammad to perform prayers in it.

But Allah revealed verse 9:107; it says those who chose a place of worship out of opposition and disbelief, and in order to cause dissent among the believers, and as an outpost for those who warred against Allah and His messenger aforetime, they will surely swear: We purposed naught save good. Allah is the witness that they verily are liars. Never pray in their place.  Then, verse 9:108 says that Allah loves those who purify themselves physically and spiritually.

Then verse 9:108 says:

Never stand; never perform prayer, there,

A mosque which was founded, one whose foundations were built, upon piety from the first day, constructed the day you arrived in Medina  is worthier, than that [other one], for you to stand, to perform prayer, therein; in it are men, who love to purify themselves physically and spiritually; and God loves those who purify themselves

In other words, the verse says:

Never stand; never perform prayer, in the hypocrites’ mosque.

A place of worship which was founded upon duty to Allah,

Which was founded upon obedience and remembrance of Allah from the first day the Prophet Muhammad entered Medina;

It is also said this means: the first mosque ever built in Medina

Is more worthy, is more right to pray in it;

Wherein there are men who love to purify themselves, physically from filth and spiritually from the evil.

And Allah loves the purifiers, those who purify themselves

—————————————————

Verse 9:107-108 in different translations:

QARIB:

107) And there are those who have taken a mosque to cause harm, disbelief, and to divide the believers, and as a place of ambush for those who fought Allah and his messenger before. They swear: ‘we desired nothing but good’, but Allah bears witness that they are liars.

108) You shall never stand there. A mosque founded upon piety from the first day is worthier for you to stand in. in it are men who love to purify themselves. Allah loves those who purify themselves.

SHAKIR:

107) And those who built a masjid to cause harm and for unbelief and to cause disunion among the believers and an ambush to him who made war against Allah and his messenger before; and they will certainly swear: we did not desire aught but good; and Allah bears witness that they are most surely liars.

108) Never stand in it; certainly a masjid (mosque) founded on piety from the very first day is more deserving that you should stand in it; in it are men who love that they should be purified; and Allah loves those who purify themselves.

PICKTHAL:

107) And as for those who chose a place of worship out of opposition and disbelief, and in order to cause dissent among the believers, and as an outpost for those who warred against Allah and his messenger aforetime, they will surely swear: we purposed naught save good. Allah beareth witness that they verily are liars.

108) Never stand (to pray) there. a place of worship which was found upon duty (to Allah) from the first day is more worthy that thou shouldst stand (to pray) therein, wherein are men who love to purify themselves. Allah loveth the purifiers.

YUSUFALI:

107) And there are those who put up a mosque by way of mischief and infidelity – to disunite the believers – and in preparation for one who warred against Allah and his messenger aforetime. They will indeed swear that their intention is nothing but good; but Allah doth declare that they are certainly liars.

108) Never stand thou forth therein. There is a mosque whose foundation was laid from the first day on piety; it is more worthy of the standing forth (for prayer) therein. In it are men who love to be purified; and Allah loveth those who make themselves pure.

This is Allah (26) What is Allah’s Promise to Satan and His Fellows?

The Excuse of Satan is that for every Liar and Hypocrite

How old is Satan Right now although He is working very actively?

Satan can come to you from everywhere except from above

When Allah degraded, banished, and removed Satan from His Mercy?

————————————————-

Many people do not know Allah. This series is an attempt to help them in order to know and acknowledge their Creator.

Verses 7:14-18 of the Noble Quran talk about:

1) What is Allah’s Promise to Satan and His Fellows?

2) The Excuse of Satan is that for every Liar and Hypocrite,

3) How old is Satan Right now although He is working very actively?

4) Satan can come to you from everywhere except from above and

5) When Allah degraded, banished, and removed Satan from His Mercy?

————————————————-

In the previous article, Satan refused to Prostrate before Adam for salutation and he was the First Historically disobeyed Allah; then Allah said to him: ‘Go down from the heavens; it is not, right, for you to show pride here and disobey’;

In verses 7:14-18 you will see what Satan said to Allah

The meaning of verse 7:14

He said: Reprieve me, give me respite, till the day when they are raised from the graves-accursed not wanting to die. In other words, he said: postpone my affair, until the Day of Judgment.  So, you can imagine how old is Satan right now although he is working very actively?

The meaning of verse 7:15

Allah Said, ‘Lo! You are of those reprieved, you are given respite’; in another verse (38:81), it is said, until the day of an appointed time, that is, until the time of the first blast of the Trumpet, an event that will happen very close to Day of Judgment.  Now, the wicked Satan realized that he will live until the Day of Judgment and he knows that Allah is keeping his words, then what he said?

The meaning of verse 7:16

He, Iblis, said: ‘Now, because You have sent me astray just as You made me err from guidance, verily I shall lurk in ambush for them) for the children of Adam (on Thy Right Path) the religion of Islam. In other words, he said: verily I shall sit in ambush for them, that is, for the Children of Adam, on Your straight path, that is, on the path that leads to You.  It is interesting to know that he did not Prostrate before Adam for salutation and disobeyed Allah because of his pride and his assumption that he is better than Adam; then after all of his sins, he said that Allah made him err!  This is the almost always excuse of the liars and hypocrites.  Then Satan continued:

The meaning of verse 7:17

He said: Then I shall come upon them from before them and from behind them and from their right and from their left, that is to say, from every side, and prevent them from following it (that path, Allah’s Path i.e. from following Allah’s Religion that is Islam). And You will not find most of them thankful’, believing.

Ibn Abbās, one of the famous interpreter of the Quran  said: ‘However, he cannot come upon them from above, lest he come between the servant and the mercy of Allah, exalted be He’.

In other words, Satan said: Then I shall come upon them from before them, with regard to the Hereafter that there is no hell, Paradise, resurrection or reckoning, and from behind them, that the life of this world is everlasting and I shall bid them to amass and withhold out of stinginess and I will order them to commit corruption, and from their right hands, vis-à-vis the religion: I shall confuse those who are guided until they leave the guidance, and I shall make it seem fair to those who are misguided such that they remain misguided, and from their left hands, as regard pleasures and delights, and Thou wilt not find most of them, all of them beholden, unto Thee, believers in You.

After Satan has done, what Allah said to him?

The meaning of verse 7:18

Allah Said: ‘Go forth from it, degraded, disgraced or despised, and banished, removed from mercy. As for those of them, of people, who follow you I shall assuredly fill Hell with all of you’, that is, with you, through your seed, and with people, in other words, ‘whoever follows you, then I shall punish him’).

In short, Allah said: Go forth from hence, degraded, rebuked, banished far from good; As for such of them, from the jinn and humans as follow you and obey you, surely I will fill hell with all of you of the disbelievers among the jinn and humans.

15) Said he (Allah): ‘you are among the respited, ‘

16) He answered: ‘because you have caused me to go astray, i will waylay them as they walk on your straight path,

17) And come upon them from the front and from the rear, from their right and from their left. then, you shall find most of them ungrateful. ‘

18) ‘begonia! ‘ said he, ‘despised and outcast. (as for) those of them that follow you, i shall fill gehenna (hell) with all of you. ‘

SHAKIR:

14) He said: respite me until the day when they are raised up

15) Said he (Allah): ‘you are among the respited, ‘

16) He said: as thou hast caused me to remain disappointed i will certainly lie in wait for them in thy straight path

17) Then i will certainly come to them from before them and from behind them, and from their right-hand side and from their left-hand side; and thou shalt not find most of them thankful

18) He said: get out of this (state), despised, driven away; whoever of them will follow you, i will certainly fill hell with you all

PICKTHAL:

14) He said: reprieve me till the day when they are raised (from the dead).

15) He said: lo! thou art of those reprieved.

16) He said: now, because thou hast sent me astray, verily i shall lurk in ambush for them on thy right path.

17) Then i shall come upon them from before them and from behind them and from their right hands and from their left hands, and thou wilt not find most of them beholden (unto thee).

18) He said: go forth from hence, degraded, banished. as for such of them as follow thee, surely i will fill hell with all of you.

YUSUFALI:

14) He said: “give me respite till the day they are raised up.”

15) (Allah) said: “be thou among those who have respite.”

16) He said: “because thou hast thrown me out of the way, lo! i will lie in wait for them on thy straight way:

17) “Then will i assault them from before them and behind them, from their right and their left: nor wilt thou find, in most of them, gratitude (for thy mercies).”

18) (Allah) said: “get out from this, disgraced and expelled. if any of them follow thee,- hell will i fill with you all.
