Atheists in Quran (8) they contend with falsehood

Throughout the History, the Atheists disputed their messengers with falsehood; their aim was to invalidate the truth of Allah’ scriptures and message.

———————————

The meanings of the verse 18:56:

Allah sent a messenger (and/or prophet) to every nation.

Allah sent his messengers with one message; it is believe in Allah, the One, the Almighty Creator, the Merciful, the Forgiving, He has no partner, no similar, no son etc.

Allah’s messengers were bearers and warners

  • They were bearers of good tidings (Paradise) to believers
  • They were warners against Eternal hell for the disbelievers

All the messengers and the prophets were belied by most of their people, folks, tribes and nations.

The Atheists among the people of the messengers belied them and disbelieved in them.

The Atheists who disbelieved disputed with falsehood.

The Atheists gave many false reasons to justify their disbelief

They say for example:

  • Has God sent a human as a messenger?
  • God has to send an Angel not a human
  • We have never heard about that from our ancients
  • Why God choose this man specifically?
  • We want to see God and talk to him
  • Etc. of their foolish and ignorant falsehood

When they say that and the like of such statements, that they may refute thereby, that by way of their disputing they may invalidate the truth of Allah’ scriptures.

Throughout the History, the Atheists disputed their messengers with falsehood, their aim was to invalidate the truth of Allah’ scriptures and message.

This happened to all the messengers like for example Noah, Hud, Salih, Abraham, Lot, Ishmael, Isaac, Jacob, Joseph, Job, Moses, Aaron, David, Solomon, Elias, Jonah, Zachariah, John, Jesus and Prophet Muhammad

Sometimes, the Atheists knew some verses of the Quran and they take them in mockery

They have taken in mockery the verses of the Quran that whereof they have been warned, in the way of the Eternal Hell.

They take Allah’s revelations, messengers, and that wherewith they are threatened of chastisement as a jest and mockery.

———————————

The verse 18:56 in different translations:

QARIB:

We send our messengers only to proclaim glad tidings and to give warning. but the unbelievers dispute with false arguments so that they may belie the truth. they have taken my verses and warnings in mockery.

SHAKIR:

And we do not send messengers but as givers of good news and warning, and those who disbelieve make a false contention that they may render null thereby the truth, and they take my communications and that with which they are warned for a mockery

PICKTHAL:

We send not the messengers save as bearers of good news and warners. Those who disbelieve contend with falsehood in order to refute the truth thereby. And they take our revelations and that wherewith they are threatened as a jest.

YUSUFALI:

We only send the messengers to give glad tidings and to give warnings: but the unbelievers dispute with vain argument, in order therewith to weaken the truth, and they treat my signs as a jest, as also the fact that they are warned!

Atheists in Quran (3) their heart disease

The Quran diagnoses the heart disease of the Atheists. Their hearts are puffed up with pride; they are arrogant, scorning and too proud to believe; Allah does not love those who are too proud to believe.

———————————

The meanings of the verses16:22-23, they say:

  • Your God is One God.
  • Your Almighty Creator is One.
  • The One deserving of your worship is One.
  • He is One without any equal
  • He is One without any similar
  • He is One without any comparable
  • He is Allah, exalted He be

Then the Quran diagnoses the heart disease of the Atheists; the Quran says:

However, the Atheists

  • Do not believe in resurrection after death
  • Do not believe in the Hereafter
  • Their hearts are rejecting of their Creator
  • Their hearts refuse to acknowledge Allah’s divine Oneness
  • They are arrogant, scorning to believe in Allah
  • They are too proud to believe in Allah

Assuredly, Allah knows

  • That which they keep hidden of hatred, resentful envy, plotting and treachery and
  • That which they proclaim of vilification, slander and violent confrontation.

Lo! Allah does not love the proud

Allah does not love those who are too proud to believe.

———————————

The verses 16:22-23 in different translations:

QARIB:

22- Your god is one god. Those who do not believe in the everlasting life their hearts disbelieve, and are puffed up with pride.

23- Allah knows without doubt what they hide and what they make known. he does not love the proud.

SHAKIR:

22- Your Allah is one Allah; so (as for) those who do not believe m the hereafter, their hearts are ignorant and they are proud

23- Truly, Allah knows what they hide and what they manifest; surely, he does not love the proud

PICKTHAL:

22- Your Allah is one Allah. But as for those who believe not in the hereafter their hearts refuse to know, for they are proud.

23- Assuredly, Allah knoweth that which they keep hidden and that which they proclaim. Lo! He loveth not the proud.

YUSUFALI:

22- Your Allah is one Allah: as to those who believe not in the hereafter, their hearts refuse to know, and they are arrogant.

23- Undoubtedly, Allah doth know what they conceal, and what they reveal: verily he loveth not the arrogant.

Angels in Islam (31) thunder is God’s voice or Angel’s voice?

In the Bible: the thunder is the voice of Jehovah, the Lord God.

In the Quran, the thunder is an Angel who is Glorifying Allah.

———————————–

In the Bible: the thunder is the voice of Jehovah, the Lord God.

This ultimate fact is found in many Biblical verses like for example 1 Samuel 2:10, 7:10, 2 Samuel 22:14, Job 37:4-5 and Psalm 18:13

Such verses say:

Jehovah, the Lord God:

  • Thundered with a great thunder
  • Thundered from heaven
  • Shall thunder upon them
  • Thundered with the voice of His Excellency

The thunder is but the voice of Jehovah, the Lord God:

  • His voice is heard
  • The Most High uttered His voice
  • God thundered marvelously with His voice
  • Lord thundered in the heavens, and the Highest uttered His voice
  • Jehovah thundered in the heavens, the Most High uttered his voice

———————————–

In the Quran, The thunder is an Angel, his voice is to Glorify Allah.

The meanings of the verse 13:13:

The thunder proclaims his praise to his Almighty Creator.

The thunder says: all Glory and praise be to Allah.

And this thunder saying is the voice of the thunder that we hear.

Not only the thunder proclaims His praise to his Almighty Creator, but also, the Angels do proclaim their praises, in awe of Allah.

It is interesting that the Angels who never ever sin proclaim their praise, all the time, in awe of Allah, although man who is sinful does not!

Also, the unbelievers among mankind dispute and argue about Allah, though He is great in might, in power, or in the severity of His retribution.

The unbelievers among mankind argue about the Religion of Allah; however, Allah is mighty in wrath, His chastisement is severe. Exalted is He!

According to Islamic teachings, it should be emphasized that anyone believes that the thunder is the voice of the Almighty Creator will dwell in the Eternal Fire forever!

———————————–

In the Quran, The thunder is an Angel, his voice is to Glorify Allah.

The verse 13:13 in different translations:

QARIB:

The thunder exalts his praise, and so are the Angels are in awe of him. He looses the thunderbolts and smites whosoever he will. Yet they dispute about Allah who is mighty in power.

SHAKIR:

And the thunder declares his glory with his praise, and the Angels too for awe of him; and he sends the thunderbolts and smites with them whom he pleases, yet they dispute concerning Allah, and he is mighty in prowess

PICKTHAL:

The thunder hymneth his praise and (so do) the Angels for awe of him. he launcheth the thunderbolts and smiteth with them whom he will while they dispute (in doubt) concerning Allah, and he is mighty in wrath.

YUSUFALI:

Nay, thunder repeateth his praises, and so do the Angels, with awe: he flingeth the loud-voiced thunder-bolts, and therewith he striketh whomsoever he will. Yet these (are the men) who (dare to) dispute about Allah, with the strength of his power (supreme)!

In Bible vs. Quran, Jesus denied that He is God (16) His Mission

Both the Bible and Quran agree about the mission of Jesus. In the Bible, Jesus says “”I must preach the good news of God, for this is why I was sent”.

The Quran says: “The duty of the messenger is only to convey the message “; and also “The messenger is only to convey the message plainly.”

————————————-

The Lord Jesus went off to a deserted place, but the crowds tried to find him and when they did discover him, tried to prevent him from leaving them. But he told them to let Him go. Why?

Luke 4:43 says”

But he said to them, “I must preach the good news of God’s kingdom in other cities too, for this is why I was sent.” (Common English Bible) or:

“He told them, “Don’t you realize that there are yet other villages where I have to tell the Message of God’s kingdom” (The Message).

Herein, Jesus saying is composed of three parts:

1) The act “I must preach”

2) Preach what? Preach the Kingdom of God

3) Why? Because this is my Job “for this is why I was sent”

————————————-

Study of the available 42 different versions of the Bible to explore how they present the above three parts of Jesus saying reveal the following results:

1) The act

“I must preach, I must proclaim, I must tell, I must announce and I have to tell” is found in 37 versions.

“It is necessary for me to preach or to proclaim” is found in two versions.

“it behooveth me to preach or to proclaim” is found in two versions.

People in other towns must hear the good news” in Contemporary English Version; and this is a Forged meaning.

2) Preach what? Preach the Kingdom of God.

The Kingdom of God is found in 40 and absent in New Life Version (the holy nation) and Young’s Literal Translation the reign of God.

3) Why? Because this is my Job “for this is why I was sent”

“For therefore was I sent or for this that I was sent” is found in 19 versions.

“For I was sent for this purpose.” is found in 10 versions.

“This is why I was sent” is found in nine versions.

“Because that is what God sent me to do” in Good News Translation

“For that is what I was sent to do” in New English Translation

“That is my mission” in J.B. Phillips New Testament

————————————-

Anyway, Jesus said as mentioned above: “I have to tell the Message of God’s kingdom

The principle of this message is: “”And this is the eternal life: to know you, the only true God, and Jesus Christ whom you have sent” and anyone believes that is there is no god but the only true God and Jesus is His messenger will dwell in Kingdom of God; that is the Eternal Paradise.

For more details, the smart reader is invited to read the articles:

In Bible vs. Quran, Jesus denied that He is God? (3) Sender vs. sent (a)

In Bible vs. Quran, Jesus denied that He is God? (3) Sender vs. sent (b)

In Bible vs. Quran, Jesus denied that He is God? (3) Sender vs. sent (c)

In Bible vs. Quran, Jesus denied that He is God (10) Greater than He

In Bible vs. Quran, Jesus denied that He is God (11) His God

Furthermore, it is interesting that Jesus said that he must preach, he must proclaim, he must tell, he must announce; and this is the duty of any messenger according to the Quran.

In the verses 5:99, 29:18 and 5:67, the Quran says that any messenger sent by Allah had to preach, proclaim, tell, announce and teach.

The verses 5:99, 29:18 and 5:67 (Pickthal translation);

Verse 5:99

The duty of the messenger is only to convey the message)

Verse 29:18

The messenger is only to convey the message plainly.

Verse 5:67

O messenger! Make known that which hath been revealed unto thee from thy Lord, for if thou do it not, thou wilt not have conveyed his message.

That is why Jesus said: “I must preach, I must proclaim, I must tell, I must announce and/or I have to tell”

This is Allah (36) Allah’s Curse Is On The Evildoers

When the Inhabitants of Paradise Will Call to the Inhabitants of the Fire?

Is Allah’s Promise in the Way of Reward and Favor TRUE?

Is the Chastisement which Allah Promised the Disbelievers TRUE?

The Disbelievers are Seeking the Crooked Way and are denying the Hereafter

—————————————————————-

Many people do not know Allah. This series is an attempt to help them in order to know and acknowledge their Creator.

Verses 7:44-45 of the Noble Quran talk about:

1) Allah’s curse is on the evildoers,

2) When the inhabitants of Paradise will call to the inhabitants of the Fire?

3) Is Allah’s Promise in the way of Reward and favor True?

4) Is the chastisement which Allah promised the Disbelievers true? And

5) The Disbelievers are seeking the crooked way and are disbelieving in the Hereafter.

—————————————————————-

In the previous article,  I said that It would be fruitful to compare between circumstances and outcome of the believers vs., the disbelievers.

a)    What each of the two party shall say in the afterlife?

b)    What each of the two party shall have in the afterlife?

c)    What Allah shall say unto each of the two party?

d)    What the Angels shall say unto each of the two party?

The interested reader could find out the answer of these question when comparing the present article with the articles 33 through 37.”

Anyway, the believers will dwell in the Paradise forever and the disbelievers will dwell in the Fire forever.

Then, is the story of both parties ended up?

It is well known that  the disbelievers used to mock the believers as regards their faith in the life of this world. Look how the media is attacking Islam and Muslims everyday!

Hence, it is not amazing that the believers will ask the disbelievers this question that is mentioned in verse 7:44.

The meaning of verse 7:44

And the inhabitants of Paradise will call to the inhabitants of the Fire, either in affirmation or in reprimand: ‘We have found that which our Lord promised us, in the way of reward, to be true; have you found that, chastisement, which your Lord promised, you, to be true?’ They will say: ‘Yes!’ And then a crier, a caller, shall proclaim between them, between both parties, making them hear that: ‘God’s curse is on the evildoers,

In other words, the verse says: And the dwellers of the Garden cry unto the dwellers of the Fire: We have found that which our Lord promised us of reward and favor to be the Truth. Have you too O people of the Fire found that which your Lord promised of torment and humiliation to be the Truth?  They say: Yea, verily.

And a crier in between them between the people of Paradise and the people of hell cried: The curse of Allah the torment of Allah is on evil-doers, is on the disbelievers who…

The meaning of verse 7:45

Who bar, people, from Allah’s way, from His religion, desiring it, that is, they seek the way that is, crooked, disbelieving in the Hereafter’.

In other words, the disbelievers are those Who debar men from the path of Allah, who divert people from Allah’s religion and obedience and would have it crooked, would have it changed, and who are disbelievers in the Last Day in resurrection after death, in the Day of Judgment.

—————————————————————-

Verses 7:44-45in different English translations of the meanings of Arabic Quran:

QARIB:

44) Then the companions of paradise will call out to the companions of the fire: ‘what our lord promised we have found to be true, have you too, found the promise of your lord to be true? ‘ ‘yes, ‘ they shall answer, and a caller will announce between them that the curse of Allah is upon the harmdoers,

45) Who have barred others from the path of Allah and sought to make it crooked, and who had no belief in the everlasting life.

SHAKIR:

44) And the dwellers of the garden will call out to the inmates of the fire: surely we have found what our lord promised us to be true; have you too found what your lord promised to be true? they will say: yes. then a crier will cry out among them that the curse of Allah is on the unjust

45) Who hinder (people) from Allah’s way and seek to make it crooked, and they are disbelievers in the hereafter

PICKTHAL:

44) And the dwellers of the garden cry unto the dwellers of the fire: we have found that which our lord promised us (to be) the truth. have ye (too) found that which your lord promised the truth? they say: yea, verily. and a crier in between them crieth: the curse of Allah is on evil-doers,

45) Who debar (men) from the path of Allah and would have it crooked, and who are disbelievers in the last day.

YUSUFALI:

44) The companions of the garden will call out to the companions of the fire: “we have indeed found the promises of our lord to us true: have you also found your lord’s promises true?” they shall say, “yes”; but a crier shall proclaim between them: “the curse of Allah is on the wrong-doers;-

45) “Those who would hinder (men) from the path of Allah and would seek in it something crooked: they were those who denied the hereafter.”
