Allah loves (10) the good doers who keep their Covenant

Who Broke the LORD Covenant?

Allah Commands to pardon and forgive the people of the Books

——————————————————–

We have seen that Allah loves those:

(1) the kind good doers,

(2) those who turn to him and those who are Clean and Pure, (3) those who guard against evil,

(4) those who put their Trust in Him,

5) those who are firm and steadfast,

6) the virtuous,

7) the charitable,

8) judge in equity and

9) those who are just and are not biased.

In this article, Allah loves the good doers who keep their Covenant.

——————————————————–

Verse 5:13 says that indeed, Allah loves the good doers, those who do their best to the others and keep their Covenant.

The verse talks about the people of the Books.

They broke their covenant and their hearts are hard

Allah says: So because of their breaking their covenant,

We cursed them,

We removed them from Our mercy,

And made their hearts hard, unyielding to the acceptance of faith;

They pervert words, pertaining to the descriptions of Muhammad in the Torah and other things, from their contexts, those in which Allah has placed them,

In other words, they substitute them; and they have forgotten.

They have abandoned, a portion, a part,

Of what they were reminded of,

Of what they were enjoined to in the Torah, in the way of following Muhammad

And you, our Prophet Muhammad, will never cease to discover some treachery on their part, in the way of breaking a covenant or some other matter, except for a few of them, who have submitted themselves to Islam like Ben Salam for example.

Yet pardon them, and forgive;

Herein, Allah Commands to pardon and forgive the people of the Books; Allah the Just will deal with them in the Afterlife.

Surely Allah loves the virtuous: the good doers, those who do their best to the others and keep their Covenant.

——————————————————–

Verse 5:13 in different translations:

QARIB:

But because they broke their covenant, we cursed them and hardened their hearts. They changed the words from their places and have forgotten a portion of what they were reminded. Except for a few, you will always find treachery from them, yet pardon them, and forgive; indeed Allah loves the good doers.

SHAKIR:

but on account of their breaking their covenant we cursed them and made their hearts hard; they altered the words from their places and they neglected a portion of what they were reminded of; and you shall always discover treachery in them excepting a few of them; so pardon them and turn away; surely Allah loves those who do good (to others)

PICKTHAL:

And because of their breaking their covenant, we have cursed them and made hard their hearts. They change words from their context and forget a part of that whereof they were admonished. Thou wilt not cease to discover treachery from all save a few of them. But bear with them and pardon them. Lo! Allah loveth the kindly.

YUSUFALI:

but because of their breach of their covenant, we cursed them, and made their hearts grow hard; they change the words from their (right) places and forget a good part of the message that was sent them, nor wilt thou cease to find them- barring a few – ever bent on (new) deceits: but forgive them, and overlook (their misdeeds): for Allah loveth those who are kind.

Allah loves (5) those who are firm and steadfast (patient)

The Reward of the Patient at the Day of Judgment

——————————————-

In the previous articles, we have seen that Allah loves

(1) the kind good doers,

(2) those who turn to him and those who are Clean and Pure, (3) those who guard against evil,

(4) those who put their Trust in Him.

In this article, Allah loves those who are firm and steadfast (patient).   In addition, the steadfast will receive a reward without measure at the Day of Judgment.

——————————————-

Verse 3:146 says that Allah loves those who are firm and steadfast (patient)   Verse 39:10 says: verily the steadfast and those who patiently persevere will truly receive a reward without measure and will be recompensed in full without count at the Day of Judgment.

——————————————-

Verse 3:146 in different translations

QARIB:

There has been many a prophet with whom many of the Lord have fought and they did not faint when they were smitten in the way of Allah, neither did they weaken, nor did they humble themselves, and Allah loves the patient.

SHAKIR:

And how many a prophet has fought with whom were many worshippers of the Lord; so they did not become weak-hearted on account of what befell them in Allah’s way, nor did they weaken, nor did they abase themselves; and Allah loves the patient

PICKTHAL:

And with how many a prophet have there been a number of devoted men who fought (beside him). they quailed not for aught that befell them in the way of Allah, nor did they weaken, nor were they brought low. Allah loveth the steadfast.

YUSUFALI:

How many of the prophets fought (in Allah’s way), and with them (fought) large bands of godly men? but they never lost heart if they met with disaster in Allah’s way, nor did they weaken (in will) nor give in. and Allah loves those who are firm and steadfast.

——————————————-

The verse says that throughout the history of mankind, with how many prophets have there been a number of devoted men who fought beside him against scores of unbelievers.

They quailed not, the believers did not weaken for aught that befell them in the way of Allah in terms of death and injury;

It is also said that this means: how many prophets were killed alongside scores of believers, but the believers did not weaken due to that which befell them in the way of Allah – the killing of their prophets – in obedience of Allah,

Nor did they weaken; they did not lack strength to fight their enemies,

Nor were they brought low, they did not abase themselves before their enemy;

it is also said that this means: they did not surrender to their enemy.

Allah loves the steadfast in fighting their enemy alongside their Prophet.

And Allah loves the patient, during trials, meaning that He will reward them.

——————————————-

This is the kind reward for the Patient at the Day of Judgment

Verse 39:10 says: verily the steadfast and those who patiently persevere will truly receive a reward without measure and will be recompensed in full without count at the Day of Judgment.

Verse 30:10 in different translations

QARIB:

Say: ‘My worshipers, who believe, fear your Lord. for those who do good in this world there is good and the earth of Allah is wide surely, those who are patient will be recompensed in full without count. ‘

SHAKIR:

Say: O my servants who believe! be careful of (your duty to) your Lord; for those who do good in this world is good, and Allah’s earth is spacious; only the patient will be paid back their reward in full without measure

PICKTHAL:

Say: O my bondmen who believe! Observe your duty to your Lord. For those who do good in this world there is good, and Allah’s earth is spacious. Verily the steadfast will be paid their wages without stint.

YUSUFALI:

Say: “O ye my servants who believe! Fear your Lord, good is (the reward) for those who do good in this world. Spacious is Allah’s earth! Those who patiently persevere will truly receive a reward without measure!”

——————————————-

Verse 39:10 states:

Say to them, O Muhammad: O MY bondmen who believe:

Fear your Lord, that is to say,

Fear His chastisement, by being obedient to Him.

For those who are virtuous in this world, through obedience, there will be good, and that is Paradise, and God’s earth is vast, so emigrate throughout it, away from the company of disbelievers and the sight of indecencies.

Truly the steadfast, in their obedience of the LORD and in enduring whatever hardship they may be tested with, will be paid their reward in full without any reckoning’, without any measure or any scales

In other words, the verse says: Verily the steadfast in the face of misfortunes will be paid their wages and their rewards without stint and without measure or delay at the Day of Judgment.

Allah loves (4) those who put their Trust in Him

The Recommendations that Allah gave His Prophet Muhammad

Prophet Muhammad is the best Leader ever walked on the earth

—————————————-

Verse 3:159 of the Noble Quran says that Allah loves those who put their trust in Him.  Also, the verse give some Golden recommendations that Allah gave His Prophet Muhammad in order to be the best leader ever walked on the earth.

Verse 3:159 says that Allah loves those who put their trust in Him

Also, the verse gives some Golden recommendations that Allah gave His Prophet Muhammad in order to be the best leader.

—————————————-

The verse says:

It was by the mercy of God that you, Prophet Muhammad, were lenient with them, that you showed indulgence toward them when they disobeyed you;

Had you been harsh in speech,

Ill-natured, and fierce of heart,

Brutish and coarse towards them,

They would have dispersed, split away, from about you.

So pardon them, pass over what they have done,

Pardon your Companions for that which may ensue from them

And ask forgiveness for them, for their sins, until I forgive them,

And consult them; find out their opinions, in the matter,

Consult with them upon the conduct of affairs

In order to win their hearts over

And so that you may be emulated in this respect;

And indeed, the Prophet would frequently consult them.

And when you are resolved, to carry out what you wish after counsel, rely on Allah, put your trust in Him,

Put your trust in Allah to give you triumph and domination

For Allah loves those who rely on Him

Because the Prophet Muhammad has strictly followed all of these golden recommendations, and has completely put his trust in Allah, hence, He is the best leader ever walked on earth and Allah gave him triumph and domination.

—————————————-

Verse 3:159 in four different translations

QARIB:

It was by that mercy of Allah that you (Prophet Muhammad) dealt so leniently with them. Had you been harsh and hardhearted, they would have surely deserted you. Therefore, pardon them and ask forgiveness for them. Take counsel with them in the matter and when you are resolved, put your trust in Allah. Allah loves those who trust.

SHAKIR:

Thus it is due to mercy from Allah that you deal with them gently, and had you been rough, hard hearted, they would certainly have dispersed from around you; pardon them therefore and ask pardon for them, and take counsel with them in the affair; so when you have decided, then place your trust in Allah; surely Allah loves those who trust.

PICKTHAL:

it was by the mercy of Allah that thou wast lenient with them (O Muhammad), for if thou hadst been stern and fierce of heart they would have dispersed from round about thee. so pardon them and ask forgiveness for them and consult with them upon the conduct of affairs. And when thou art resolved, then put thy trust in Allah. lo! Allah loveth those who put their trust (in him).

YUSUFALI:

it is part of the mercy of Allah that thou dost deal gently with them wert thou severe or harsh-hearted, they would have broken away from about thee: so pass over (their faults), and ask for (Allah’s) forgiveness for them; and consult them in affairs (of moment). Then, when thou hast taken a decision put thy trust in Allah. for Allah loves those who put their trust (in him).

This is Allah (19) Allah knows the Unseen and what is in your heart

Allah is the knower of the entire Unseen of the heavens and the earth

Allah knows what is in your heart whether it is good or evil

What is waiting for those who disbelieve in the afterlife?

Why the disbelievers will cry for help in the afterlife?

What the disbelievers say and wish in the afterlife?

————————————————————————–

Many people do not know Allah. This series is an attempt to help them in order to know and acknowledge their Creator.

Verses 35:36-38 of the Noble Quran talk about:

1) Allah is the knower of the Unseen of the heavens and the earth,

2) What is for those who disbelieve in the afterlife?

3) Why the disbelievers will cry for help in the afterlife?

4) What the disbelievers will say and wish in the afterlife? And 5) Allah knows what is in the hearts whether it is good or evil.

————————————————————————–

The meaning of verse 35:36:

But as for those who disbelieve in Muhammad and in the Quran, for them is fire of hell in the Hereafter;

it takes not complete effect upon them they are not sentenced to death so that they can die and find rest,

Nor is its torment lightened for them, not even for a twinkle of an eye.

Thus We punish in the Hereafter every ingrate, every disbeliever in Allah who is ungrateful for His bounties.

In other words, the verse declares that for those who disbelieve, there will be for them the fire of Hell: they will neither be done away with, through death, so that they may die, and find rest, nor will any [aspect] of its chastisement be lightened for them, [not even for] a single moment. In this way, in the way that We requite these, We requite every ingrate, [every] disbeliever ‘every ingrate is [so] requited’; ‘[so] We requite every ingrate’).

The meaning of verse 35:37:

(And they) i.e. the disbelievers (cry for help there) in the Fire, and implore and beseech, saying: Our Lord! O our Lord! (Release us) from the Fire and return us to the life of the world, for we will believe in You; and (we will do right) sincerely believing in You, (not (the wrong) that we used to do) in our state of idolatry. Allah will say to them: (Did not We grant you a life) did We not give you, O group of disbelievers, in the life of the world a respite (long enough for who reflected to reflect) long enough for reflection (therein) for anyone who wanted to reflect? (And the warner) Muhammad (came unto you) with the Quran and warned you against this day, but you did not believe him. (Now taste (the flavor of your deeds)) taste the torment of the Fire, (for evil-doers) the disbelievers (have no helper) to save them from Allah’s chastisement.

In other words, the verse says that while therein they, the disbelievers, will be crying out, calling for help in distress, howling and saying: ‘Our Lord! Bring us forth, from it, and we will act righteously, other than how we used to act’. But it will be said to them: ‘Did We not give you long life, enough, time, in which to take heed, for him who would take heed? And [moreover] the warner, the Messenger, came to you, but you did not respond to his call, so taste now [this chastisement]! For the evildoers, the disbelievers, have no helper’, to ward off from them the chastisement.

The meaning of verse 35:38:

Lo! Allah is the knower of the Unseen of the heavens and the earth) He knows that were they to be returned to the life of this world, they would still engage in that which they were forbidden from. (Lo! He is Aware of the secret of (men’s) breasts) He knows what is in the hearts whether it is good or evil.

In other words, the verse declares that, truly Allah is Knower of the Unseen of the heavens and the earth; truly He knows well what is in the breasts, what is in the hearts — thus there is all the more reason that He should [also] have knowledge of other things, given the way people are.

Verses 35:36-38 in different English translations of the meanings of Arabic Quran:

QARIB:

36) As for the unbelievers, theirs is the fire of gehenna. they shall neither be done away with nor die, and its punishment shall never be lightened for them. as such shall we recompense every unbeliever.

37) There they will cry out: ‘our lord, bring us out, and we will do good, other than what we have done. ‘ what, did we not make your lives long enough to remember for whosoever would remember? a warner came to you, so taste now! none shall help the harm doers.

38) Allah knows the unseen in the heavens and earth. he knows that which is in the innermost of the chests.

SHAKIR:

36) And (as for) those who disbelieve, for them is the fire of hell; it shall not be finished with them entirely so that they should die, nor shall the chastisement thereof be lightened to them: even thus do we retribute every ungrateful one

37) And they shall cry therein for succour: o our lord ! take us out, we will do good deeds other than those which we used to do. did we not preserve you alive long enough, so that he who would be mindful in it should mind? and there came to you the warner; therefore taste; because for the unjust, there is no helper

38) Surely Allah is the knower of what is unseen m the heavens and the earth; surely he is cognizant of what is m the hearts

PICKTHAL:

36) But as for those who disbelieve, for them is fire of hell; it taketh not complete effect upon them so that they can die, nor is its torment lightened for them. thus we punish every ingrate.

37) And they cry for help there, (saying): our lord! release us; we will do right, not (the wrong) that we used to do. did not we grant you a life long enough for him who reflected to reflect therein? and the warner came unto you. now taste (the flavour of your deeds), for evil-doers have no helper.

38) Lo! Allah is the knower of the unseen of the heavens and the earth. lo! he is aware of the secret of (men’s) breasts.

YUSUFALI:

36) But those who reject (Allah) – for them will be the fire of hell: no term shall be determined for them, so they should die, nor shall its penalty be lightened for them. thus do we reward every ungrateful one!

37) Therein will they cry aloud (for assistance): “our lord! bring us out: we shall work righteousness, not the (deeds) we used to do!” – “did we not give you long enough life so that he that would should receive admonition? and (moreover) the warner came to you. so taste ye (the fruits of your deeds): for the wrong-doers there is no helper.”

38) Verily Allah knows (all) the hidden things of the heavens and the earth: verily he has full knowledge of all that is in (men’s) hearts.

Chapter 6 of the Quran (88) man will end in either Hell or Paradise

Allah will punish any unbeliever on the face of the Earth wherever and whenever he is and he will dwell in the Eternal Hell in the Afterlife.   For the believers is the abode of peace with their Lord; they will be safe from the whisperings of their enemies.  Theirs will be the dwelling of Eternal Paradise in the Afterlife.

——————————————-

In the previous articles, each one of the chief leaders and wealthy among the unbelievers of Mecca wanted to be a messenger of Allah; otherwise they would not believe in Allah, in the Prophet Muhammad and in the Quran.

They used to treat the Prophet Muhammad and the small Muslim society very cruelly.

Allah knew that they were too arrogant to believe.

Allah knew that they were too proud of themselvest to see the light of Islam

That iis why, Allah casts Satan, that is, He gives him authority, over those who do not believe, and thus,

Allah laid ignominy upon their hearts and He will punish them for their denial and disbelief and they will dwell in the Eternal Hell in the Afterlife.

It should be emphasized that this is the outcome of any unbeliever on the face of the Earth wherever and whenever he is.

But, what is the outcome of the believers?

Ayah 6:126 says:

And this path that you follow, O Muhammad, is the path of your Lord, a straight one, a just path with no crookedness therein

it is also said that this means: the Islam is the religion of your Lord which He is pleased with; it is straight and well established.

Allah have detailed and elucidated His revelations i.e. the Quran, by explaining the command and prohibitions, the causes of humiliation and the reasons for honour for the people who heed admonition, for the people who understand and therefore believe.

Ayah 6:127 says:

For the believers is the abode of peace with their Lord; they will be safe from the whisperings of their enemies.

Allah will be their Protecting Helper.

Theirs will be the abode of Eternal Paradise

Allah Bestows upon them honour and reward because of what they used to do in the life of this world.

—————————————————————-

The verses 6:126-127 in different translations

QARIB:

126) this is the path of your lord, a straight path. we have made plain our verses to a nation who remember.

127) theirs is the abode of peace with their lord. he is their guardian for what they did.

SHAKIR:

126) and this is the path of your lord, (a) right (path); indeed we have made the communications clear for a people who mind

127) they shall have the abode of peace with their lord, and he is their guardian because of what they did

PICKTHAL:

126) this is the path of thy lord, a straight path. we have detailed our revelations for a people who take heed.

127) for them is the abode of peace with their lord. he will be their protecting friend because of what they used to do.

YUSUFALI:

126) this is the way of thy lord, leading straight: we have detailed the signs for those who receive admonition.

127) for them will be a home of peace in the presence of their lord: he will be their friend, because they practised (righteousness).

Chapter 6 of the Quran (87) Breathing in High Altitude

It should be emphasized that an Egyptian Christian Professor of Chest Diseases embraced Islam because of this verse. He said: how come that Muhammad knew the scientific fact of the constricted and extremely tight chest with difficulty in breathing that happens in high altitude?

——————————————-

It should be emphasized that an Egyptian Christian Professor of Chest diseases embraced Islam because of Ayah 6:125. He said: how come that Muhammad knew the scientific fact of the constricted and extremely tight chest with difficulty in breathing that happens in high altitude?

Ayah 6:125 says:

And whomsoever it is Allah’s will to guide to His religion,

Allah expand his heart unto accepting Islam by casting into his heart a light which the heart expands for and accepts

Allah expand his bosom and his chest unto the Surrender

And whomsoever it is Allah’s will to send astray and to leave in error and disbelief,

Allah makes his bosom closely narrow to accept it, constricted and extremely tight as if he were engaged in ascent to the heaven when he is charged with the obligations of the faith, because of the hardship for him therein.

Allah leaves his chest narrow like the ferrule of a spear in doubt;

This could also mean: the light cannot find a way or a passage to his heart as if he were engaged in sheer ascent.

In other word, the likeness of the chest of such a person who is not guided to Islam is the likeness of a person who is told to rise in heaven:

The chest of such a person who is not guided to Islam is narrow with difficulty in breathing as if he is in a very high altitude wherein the oxygen is defficient.

Allah casts Satan, that is, He gives him authority, over those who do not believe, and thus,

Allah laid ignominy upon the hearts of those who do not believe in Allah, in His last Prophet Muhammad and in the Quran, and then

Allah will punish them for their denial and disbelief.

—————————————————————-

The verse 6:125 in different translations

QARIB:

Whomsoever Allah desires to guide, he expand s his chest to islam (submission). Whomsoever he desires to lead astray, he makes his chest narrow, tight, as though he were climbing to heaven. as such Allah lays the scourge on the unbelievers.

SHAKIR:

Therefore (for) whomsoever Allah intends that he would guide him aright, he expand s his breast for islam, and (for) whomsoever he intends that he should cause him to err, he makes his breast strait and narrow as though he were ascending upwards; thus does Allah lay uncleanness on those who do not believe

PICKTHAL:

And whomsoever it is Allah’s will to guide, he expand eth his bosom unto the surrender, and whomsoever it is his will to send astray, he maketh his bosom close and narrow as if he were engaged in sheer ascent. Thus Allah layeth ignominy upon those who believe not.

YUSUFALI:

Those whom Allah (in his plan) willeth to guide,- he openeth their breast to islam; those whom he willeth to leave straying,- he maketh their breast close and constricted, as if they had to climb up to the skies: thus doth Allah (heap) the penalty on those who refuse to believe.

Chapter 6 of the Quran (76) Even if the Dead Spoke to Them

Even if Allah sent down the angels to them and even if the dead spoke to them, and assembled all things in front of them, they would still not believe.  Allah drives someone to believe or not depends on what is inside his heart, if he likes to achieve the truth Allah will guide him, and if not, Allah will lead him astray.

——————————————-

In the previous article, the disbelievers of Mecca, mockingly, said to the Prophet Muhammad:

‘You told us that Moses had a staff with which he struck a stone and twelve springs gushed forth, and that Jesus revived the dead, and that Thamud had a camel emerged from a rock; why do you not bring us some of those signs so that we believe in you?’

And in a sarcastic manner, they swear a solemn oath by Allah, if there come unto them a sign as they have asked they will believe in that sign and they will believe in Muhammad and in the Quran.

When one swears by Allah, it is an utmost oath; however, they were scornful!

Their dishonest oath actually need repent because they were not faithful; otherwise it is an unforgivable sin that deserve their dwelling in the Eternal Hell in the Afterlife.

Ayah 6:111 says:

Allah knows what is inside their hearts of pride, arrogance, smugness and supremacy; they the truth.

And if we had sent down the angels as they have asked and testified in favour of that which they denied, they would not have believed.

And if their dead forefathers had revived from their graves and spoken with them as they asked, telling them that Muhammad is Allah’s Messenger and that the Quran is Allah’s Word, they would not have believed.

And if we had gathered against them all things of birds and beasts in array face to face, testifying that what the Quran is the Truth and affirming that which they have denied, they would not have believed.

They would not have believed unless Allah willed that they believe; but most of them are ignorant of this fact.

Allah drives someone to believe or not depends on what is inside his heart, if he likes to achieve the truth Allah will guide him, and if not, Allah will lead him astray.

—————————————————

The verse 6:111 in different translations

QARIB:

Even if we sent down the angels to them and the dead spoke to them, and assembled all things in front of them, they would still not believe, unless Allah willed it. But most of them are ignorant.

SHAKIR:

And even if we had sent down to them the angels and the dead had spoken to them and we had brought together all things before them, they would not believe unless Allah pleases, but most of them are ignorant

PICKTHAL:

And though we should send down the angels unto them, and the dead should speak unto them, and we should gather against them all things in array, they would not believe unless Allah so willed. howbeit, most of them are ignorant.

YUSUFALI:

Even if we did send unto them angels, and the dead did speak unto them, and we gathered together all things before their very eyes, they are not the ones to believe, unless it is in Allah’s plan. but most of them ignore (the truth).

Chapter 6 of the Quran (75) the Supreme Oath

When one swears by Allah, it is an utmost oath; however, they were mocking!

Their false sarcastic oath actually need repent because they were not faithful; otherwise it is an unjustifiable sin that deserve severe punishment in the Afterlife.

——————————————-

The Prophet Muhammad informed the disbelievers of Mecca about the signs and the miracles which Allah has given the prophets before him but they did not believe therein.

He told them about the flood of Noah but they did not believe

He told them about the she-camel of Saleh which emerged from a huge rock but they did not believe

He told them about the great fire that Abraham was thrown into it but they did not believe

He told them about the splitting of the red sea by Moses but they did not believe

He told them about the miracles of Solomen but they did not believe

He told them about the swallowing of Jonah by the whale but they did not believe

He told them about the miracles of Jesus but they did not believe

Mockingly, the disbelievers of Mecca said to the Prophet Muhammad:

‘You told us that Moses had a staff with which he struck a stone and twelve springs gushed forth, and that Jesus revived the dead, and that Thamud had a camel emerged from a rock; why do you not bring us some of those signs so that we believe in you?’

Sarcastically, they swear a solemn oath by Allah, if there come unto them a sign as they have asked they will believe in that sign and they will believe Muhammad and the Quran.

When one swears by Allah, it is an utmost oath; however, they were mocking!

Their false sarcastic oath actually need repent because they were not faithful; otherwise it is an unjustifiable sin that deserve severe punishment in the Afterlife.

Ayah 6:110 says:

Because Allah knows what is inside their heart of supremacy and arrogance and because they the truth, Allah shall confound their hearts.

Allah shall turn their hearts away from the truth because they the truth, so that they would not understand it,

And Allah shall turn their eyes, away from the truth, so that they do not see it and thus do not believe.

This is just as they did not believe in it, that is, in the verses that have been revealed generally and especially those of the signs of the Prophets before you O Muhammad., the first time; and Allah shall leave them in their insolence, in their misguidance, wandering blindly, hesitating, perplexed.

Allah shall leave them in their disbelief and error.

—————————————————

The verse 6:110 in different translations

QARIB:

We will turn away their hearts and eyes since they refused to believe in it at first. we will leave them in their insolence wandering blindly.

SHAKIR:

And we will turn their hearts and their sights, even as they did not believe in it the first time, and we will leave them in their inordinacy, blindly wandering on

PICKTHAL:

We confound their hearts and their eyes. as they believed not therein at the first, we let them wander blindly on in their contumacy.

YUSUFALI:

We (too) shall turn to (confusion) their hearts and their eyes, even as they refused to believe in this in the first instance: we shall leave them in their trespasses, to wander in distraction.
