Atheists in Quran (34) Muhammad and their Evil Eyes

The Atheists Arabs hired some famous Enviers who had very harmful evil eyes.to hurt Muhammad but they… Then they claimed that Muhammad is mad and possessed because of reciting the Quran.

Allah’s swear that Muhammad is neither mad nor possessed because of reciting the Quran.

Which one you go with? Allah’s swear or the Atheists Arabs’ claim?

Then again, why you every human being is involved in this issue?

———————————

The Arabic name of Chapter (Surah) 68 of the Noble Quran is “AL-QALAM”

AL-QALAM = THE PEN

In the first verse of the Surah, Allah swears by the Pen.

Allah swears by what they wrote, write and shall write by the pen to deny Muhammad.

About what has Allah sworn by the Pen?

The verses 68:2-4 tell us that:

Allah swears by the Pen that Muhammad:

  • Is neither mad nor possessed (because of reciting the Quran)
  • Is of great morality, tremendous nature and has the best standard of human characters
  • Shall have a reward that is never to be cut off

This Allah’s swear is a great testimony in favor of the last Prophet Muhammad.

This Allah’s swear = the witness of the Almighty Creator who creates the unlimited universe.

This is the witness of the Almighty Creator

Now, let us see the witness of some of Allah’s creatures about Muhammad and the Quran.

Let us go back in the History for 1400 years ago (The verses 68:51-52)

We are now in the Holy Mosque, Al-Kaaba, in Makkah

See Al-Kaaba today and yesterday in these videos

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iFSzGQLEd8U

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-1YQbMDLG6g

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zIfAFKeCDMo

We see the ignorant Atheists, unbelievers and idolaters among the Arabs.

They could not resist the great effects that essentially happen upon hearing the Quran.

They know that Muslims have embraced Islam and believed in Muhammad just upon hearing the recited Quran

The notables Atheists and the unbelievers’ leaders put a nasty plan.

They hired some famous Enviers in order to envy the Prophet Muhammad by their very harmful evil eyes.

They hired the Enviers to hurt Muhammad.

They gave them a lot of money to accomplish such a nasty mission.

What was the qualifications of the hired Enviers?

Upon they concentrated looking at something for a while:

  • One of the hired Enviers claimed that he can split a big solid rock into two halves
  • Another Envier claimed that Muhammad will slip and fall on the ground and his bones will be broken into pieces
  • A third Envier claimed that Muhammad will be sick and he will never get out of bed until he died
  • Etc.

Well, their target was to smite and strike Muhammad down with their glances.

On the other hand, the Prophet Muhammad used to recite the Quran in the Holy Mosque, Al-Kaaba, in Makkah in an attempt to spread Allah’s message unto the visitors of Al-Kaaba.

The Enviers kept looking at the Prophet Muhammad by their very harmful evil eyes for many hours.

Nothing happened to the Prophet Muhammad.

Allah protected his messenger from the Evil eyes of the Enviers

The notables and leaders’ plan failed!

Then what?

Many of the Arabs used to come every day from all over the Arabia to visit Al-Kaaba.

They certainly will hear the Prophet Muhammad reciting the Quran.

The notables and leaders were afraid of the great effects that essentially happen upon hearing the Quran by the visitors of Al-Kaaba

Then what they have to say about the Prophet Muhammad

They agreed to say to the visitors of Al-Kaaba that Muhammad is but a mad and possessed man

This is not a historical story for entertainment

This story is for you and for every human being all over the world

You have two witnesses:

Allah’s witness = Muhammad is neither mad nor possessed because of reciting the Quran.

Atheists Arabs’ witness = Muhammad mad and possessed because of reciting the Quran.

Which one you go with?

Then again, why you and every human being is involved in this story?

Because:

The Quran = Allah’s message to the entire world.

Allah is warning everyone: if someone hears about the existence of Muhammad and the Quran and he disbelieves in them, then he/she will dwell in the Eternal Hell in the Afterlife

It is interesting that Allah gives herein two names for the Quran:

A Reminder for all the worlds

Allah’s Favor to humankind

Then again, is it a moral way or a scientific conduct to judge about the Quran without reading it?

In fact, about 99% of the Quran deniers have no idea about the Quran and the other 1% of the Quran deniers know for sure that it is the Absolute Truth but they hide that in order not to lose their wealth and their power.

Nevertheless, some of that 1% could not resist anymore and they embraced Islam and announced their new faith.

To realize that, Google search how many Jews, Catholic Priests and orientalists embraced Islam?

The verses 68:1-4 in different translations:

QARIB:

1-4) Noon. By the pen and that (the angels) write, you are not, because of the favor of your Lord, mad. Indeed, there is an unfailing wage for you. Surely, you (Prophet Muhammad) are of a great morality.

SHAKIR:

1-4) Noon. I swear by the pen and what the angels write, by the grace of your Lord you are not mad. And most surely you shall have a reward never to be cut off. And most surely you conform (yourself) to sublime morality

PICKTHAL:

1-4) Nun. By the pen and that which they write (therewith), thou art not, for thy Lord’s favor unto thee, a madman. And lo! thine verily will be a reward unfailing. And lo! Thou art of a tremendous nature.

YUSUFALI:

1-4) Nun. By the pen and the (record) which (men) write,- thou art not, by the grace of thy Lord, mad or possessed. Nay, verily for thee is a reward unfailing: and thou (standest) on an exalted standard of character.

———————————

The verses 68:51-52 in different translations:

QARIB:

51-52) When the unbelievers hear the reminder, they nearly strike you down with their glances, and say: ‘surely, he is mad! ‘ But it is nothing other than a reminder for all the worlds.

SHAKIR:

51-52) And those who disbelieve would almost smite you with their eyes when they hear the reminder, and they say: most surely he is mad And it is naught but a reminder to the nations

PICKTHAL:

51-52) And lo! Those who disbelieve would fain disconcert thee with their eyes when they hear the reminder, and they say: lo! He is indeed mad; When it is naught else than a reminder to creation.

YUSUFALI:

51-52) And the unbelievers would almost trip thee up with their eyes when they hear the message; and they say: “surely he is possessed!” But it is nothing less than a message to all the worlds.

Atheists in Quran (23) Allah has no need of them

If you disbelieve, Allah has no need of you; however, be aware that the ultimate end of your journey is to Allah. There can be neither escape from Him nor refuge with anyone else. You can hide nothing from Him.

———————————

The verse 39:7 declares some basic but essential facts To Whom It May Concern

The verse talks about:

  • What if you disbelieve
  • What if you believe
  • Will you bear the sins of another one
  • What is your ultimate end?

What will happen if you disbelieve or if you believe?

If you disbelieve, Allah has no need of you; nor is He pleased with your disbelief

If you believe and give thanks, Allah is pleased with you.

If you disbelieve in Muhammad and in the Quran and you are thankless, Allah is Independent of you. Allah is not in need of your faith, though:

  • He is not pleased with thanklessness for His bondmen
  • He is not pleased with disbelief in Muhammad and in the Quran, because disbelief is not His religion

If you are ungrateful, indeed Allah is Independent of you, though He does not approve of ungratefulness for His servants

If you believe and give thanks, to Allah, He is pleased therewith for you He will approve such thankfulness, for you and accept it from you because that is His religion.

If you believe, you will not increase His kingdom in any way. If you disbelieve, this too will not affect His kingdom in any adverse way. He, however, does not like people to disbelieve.

By contrast, “lf you give thanks, He is pleased with you.” He will accept this from you and reward you generously for it.

Will you bear the sins of another one?

No burdened soul shall bear the burden of another soul, in other words, it will not bear the responsibility for it.

No laden soul will bear another’s load

No soul will bear the sins of another;

No soul will be taken to task for the sins of another soul, for each soul will be taken to task for its own sins;

Allah will not punish any soul for no crime.

Everyone is accountable for his or her own deeds, and none will be held responsible for another one, nor will he be allowed to take upon himself part of another’s burden

What is your ultimate end?

Then to your Lord will be your return, whereat He will inform you of what you used to do.

Unto Allah, your Lord is your return after death; then He will tell you on the Day of Judgment what you used to do and what you used to say in the life of this world.

Indeed, Allah is Knower of what is in the breasts of men of good and evil, Allah is Knower of what is in the hearts of men.

In conclusion, the ultimate end of your journey is to Allah. There can be neither escape from Him nor refuge with anyone else. You can hide nothing from Him

———————————

The verse 39:7 in different translations:

QARIB:

If you disbelieve, Allah is rich, independent of you. yet he does not approve of disbelief to his worshipers, but if you believe he will approve it in you. no laden soul shall bear another’s load. then, to Allah you shall return and he will tell to you what you have done. he knows the innermost of your chests.

SHAKIR:

If you are ungrateful, then surely Allah is self-sufficient above all need of you; and he does not like ungratefulness in his servants; and if you are grateful, he likes it in you; and no bearer of burden shall bear the burden of another; then to your Lord is your return, then will he inform you of what you did; surely he is cognizant of what is in the breasts

PICKTHAL:

If ye are thankless, yet Allah is independent of you, though he is not pleased with thanklessness for his bondmen; and if ye are thankful he is pleased therewith for you. no laden soul will bear another’s load. then unto your Lord is your return; and he will tell you what ye used to do. lo! he knoweth what is in the breasts (of men).

YUSUFALI:

If ye reject (Allah), truly Allah hath no need of you; but he liketh not ingratitude from his servants: if ye are grateful, he is pleased with you. no bearer of burdens can bear the burden of another. in the end, to your Lord is your return, when he will tell you the truth of all that ye did (in this life). for he knoweth well all that is in (men’s) hearts.

The Shadow in Bible vs. Quran

In the Bible, God the Almighty Creator has a shadow; also, the Angels, the Death, the evening etc. have shadows.

On the other hand, the Quran talks about two Historical Shadows and the Shadow at the Day of Judgment for the believers and the unbelievers; also, the Quran gives some scientific facts about the Shadow.

The Bible talks about:

1)     The Lord God has a shadow

2)     What is in heaven has Shadow

3)     The Shadow of death, its valley and its land

4)     The Evening Shadows that grow long

5)     The Deep shadow that ring the eyes

6)     The Shadow goes forward or backward ten steps

7)     Our Life is shadow

8)     Some other Biblical facts about the Shadow

The Quran talks about:

1) Two Historical Shadows

2) Scientific facts about the Shadow

3) The Shadow at the Day of Judgment

4) The Shadow for the believers and the unbelievers in the Afterlife

——————————————

The Shadow in the Bible:

The Shadow is mentioned 51 in the Bible and 19 times in the Quran.

Upon talking about the Shadow, the Bible declares that:

  • God has a shadow,
  • God’s hand has a shadow,
  • God’s wings have shadow, and
  • God does not change like shifting shadows.

In addition, the Bible says that “What is in heaven has Shadow”. It is known that the Angels are in the heaven; have they shadows too like their Creator.

Moreover, the Bible talks about the death has shadow and there are the valley of the shadow of death and the land of the shadow of the death.

In addition, the Bible talks about the evening has shadows, there are deep shadows, the Shadow and the ten steps etc.

In fact, most of the above especially God, Angels and death have no shadow(s) at all!

If God has a shadow, then He is a body like us!

The Angels are created from light, has the light a shadow?

In addition, does anyone see the shadow of the death?

——————————————

The Shadow in the Quran:

The Quran talks about:

1) Two Historical Shadows

2) Scientific facts about the Shadow

3) The Shadow at the Day of Judgment

4) The Shadow for the believers and the unbelievers in the Afterlife

1) Two Historical Shadows

The Quran mentions two important Historical Shadows;

One of them is the Shadow for Moses and the Israelites and

The other is the Shadow for the deniers of the Prophet “Shu’aib” and their grievous day of punishment.

These two Historical Shadows are not mentioned in the Bible.

a-The Shadow for Moses and the Israelites

Surah 28:24

So he (Moses) watered (their flock) for them. Then he turned aside into the shade, and said: my Lord! i am needy of whatever good thou sendest down for me.

Surah 7:160

We divided them into twelve tribes, nations; and we inspired Moses, when his people asked him for water, saying: smite with thy staff the rock! And there gushed forth therefrom twelve springs, so that each tribe knew their drinking-place. And we caused the white cloud to overshadow them and sent down for them the manna and the quails (saying): eat of the good things wherewith we have provided you. They wronged us not, but they were wont to wrong themselves.

Surah 7:171

and when we shook the mountain over them as if it were a covering overhead, and they thought that it was going to fall down upon them: take hold of what we have given you with firmness, and be mindful of what is in it, so that you may guard (against evil)

Surah 2:57

And We gave you the shade of clouds and sent down to you Manna and quails, saying: “Eat of the good things We have provided for you:” (but they rebelled); to Us they did no harm, but they harmed their own selves.

b-The Shadow for the deniers of the Prophet “Shu’aib”

The Shadow furnished for people of the Prophet “Shu’aib” who denied him and their grievous day of punishment.

The Prophet “Shu’aib” is never mentioned in the Bible.

Is that because He was Arabic?

Surah 26:189

But they rejected and denied him (Shu’aib) and called him a liar (Shu’aib) then the punishment of the day of overshadowing gloom seized them, surely it was the punishment of a grievous day

2) Scientific facts about the Shadow:

Allah extends the shade; if He pleases, He would certainly have made it stationary and then have made the sun an indication of it.

Scientifically speaking, the shade will be stationary when the Earth stops its circular movement about itself. In such case, half of the Earth will be day and the other will be night.

So, the sun is the indicator for such event. Who could do that? It is Allah the Creator of the Sun.

Surah 25:45

Have you not considered (the work of) your Lord, how he extends the shade? And if he had pleased he would certainly have made it stationary; then we have made the sun an indication of it

All things that Allah has created have their shadows and prostrate unto Him.

Surah 16:48

Have they not observed all things that Allah hath created, how their shadows incline to the right and to the left, making prostration unto Allah, and they are lowly?

Surah 16:81

it is Allah who made out of the things he created, some things to give you shade; of the hills he made some for your shelter; he made you garments to protect you from heat, and coats of mail to protect you from your (mutual) violence. thus does he complete his favors on you, that ye may bow to his will (in Islam).

Surah 35:19-21

19 and the blind and the seeing are not alike

20 nor the darkness and the light,

21 nor is the shadow equal with the sun’s full heat;

3) The Shadow at the Day of Judgment

At that horrible day, everything is already judged in justice.

Man is one of two, believer or unbeliever; each one has his own Shadow.

The Coming of Allah:

Surah 2:210

Wait they for naught else than that Allah should come unto them in the shadows of the clouds with the angels? Then the case would be already judged. All cases go back to Allah (for judgment).

4) The Shadow for the believers and the unbelievers in the Afterlife

The Shadow for those who believe; this meaning is not mentioned in the Bible.

Surah 4:57

And as for those who believe and do good works, we shall make them enter gardens underneath which rivers flow – to dwell therein forever; there for them are pure companions – and we shall make them enter plenteous shadow.

Surah 36:56

They and their associates will be in a pleasant shadow, reclining on thrones (of dignity);

Surah 76:14

And the shades of the (garden) will come low over them, and the bunches (of fruit), there, will hang low in humility (being easy to reach).

Surah 56:30

In shade long-extended,

Surah 77:41

As to the righteous, they shall be amidst (cool) shades and springs (of water).

The Shadow for those who do not believe;

This implication is not cited in the Bible

Surah 56:43

And the shade of black smoke

Surah 77: 28-31

28 ah woe, that day, to the rejecters of truth!

29 (it will be said 🙂 “Depart ye to that which ye used to reject as false!

30 “depart ye to a shadow (of smoke ascending) in three branches,

31 “(which yields) no shade of coolness, and is of no use against the fierce blaze.

32 indeed it throws about sparks (huge) as palaces,

Surah 56:43

And the shade of black smoke

The following verse summarizes the Shadow for the believers and the unbelievers.

Surah 13:35

a likeness of the garden which the righteous are promised; there now beneath it rivers, its food and shades are perpetual; this is the requital of those who guarded (against evil), and the requital of the unbelievers is the fire.

It is very important to declare that anyone believes that the Lord God, the Almighty Creator, has a shadow, hand and/or wings then he surely is unbeliever, he will dwell in the Eternal Hell in the Afterlife forever, and he made Paradise forbidden for him.

Professor Dr. Ibrahim Khalil wrote this article

http://www.articlesbase.com/science-articles/the-shadow-in-bible-and-quran-127402.html

——————————————

Back to the main issue of my series of articles (1-38); this is my question to you smart readers: “Is the Quran quoted from the Bible “?

Angels in Islam (13) are daughters for Allah while sons for Arabs?

The Angels have no sex, they do not marry; they are not like us.

Throughout the history, man was confused about the nature of the Angels.

The scholars and the philosophers have four different belief concerning the nature of Angels and who they are:

  1. The first party believes that they are the sons of God
  2. The second party believes that they are the daughters of God
  3. The third party believes that they are God
  4. The fourth party believes that they are partners of God

The Quran denies and disproves all of the above belief.

In the article Angels in Islam (10) the Quran denies the Bible’s claim that the Angels are the sons of God who married the daughters of the People! (Genesis 6:2)

In the article Angels in Islam (11) the Quran says that neither Jesus nor the Angels who are close and favored, to Allah, would never disdain, scorn or reject haughtily, to be a slave of Allah.

In the article Angels in Islam (12) the Quran says that the Angels are neither males nor females; they are not like us.

Nevertheless, the Arabs before Islam believe that the Angels are female and they are the daughters of Allah and Allah’s descendants are only females!

And such daughters of Allah deserve to be worshipped.

This was the background of why the Arabs before Islam used to worship the Angels, the daughters of Allah as they assumed

Look how the Quran condemns, denies and rejects this err faith.

The Quran tackles the famous custom of the Arabs that is how they look at the females.

The Arabs and the females before Islam.

The Quran says: Are daughters to be for your Lord, while sons are to be for them?

Why the Quran asks this question?

Because the Arabs put down the females. They used to dishonor the females very much. If anyone has got a female baby, he would feel very ashamed and he would bury her alive in the desert

The verses 16:57-59 say:

And they assign to Allah daughters, while they will have what they desire, namely, sons.

To Allah they assign daughters, while to themselves they assign sons.

And when one of them is given the tidings of a girl, that will be born to him, his face becomes darkened, transformed like that of one suddenly struck by grief, and he chokes inwardly, filled with anguish: so how is it that daughters are attributed to Him, exalted be He?

He hides, disappearing, from his people, out of distress at the tidings given to him, fearing mockery, unsure what to do with the newborn: shall he retain it — refrain from killing it — in humiliation, enduring shame and disgrace, or trample into the dust, by burying it alive.

Verily wretched is what they judge, evil is this judgment of theirs, in which they ascribe to their Creator that His are the daughters, who have such a lowly status in their eyes.

In addition to the verses 16:57-59, the Quran mentions this err Arabs’ faith about the Angels in many other verses like the followings:

The verse 16:57-59 (YUSUFALI translation)

57) And they assign daughters for Allah! – Glory be to him! – And for themselves (sons,- the issue) they desire!

58) When news is brought to one of them, of (the birth of) a female (child), his face darkens, and he is filled with inward grief!

59) With shame does he hide himself from his people, because of the bad news he has had! Shall he retain it on (sufferance and) contempt, or bury it in the dust? Ah! What an evil (choice) they decide on?

The verse 52:39 (YUSUFALI translation)

Or has he (Allah) only daughters and you have sons?

The verse 17:40 (QARIB translation):

What! Has your Lord favored you with sons and taken to himself females from among the angels? Indeed, you utter a monstrous thing!

The verses 43:16-25 (SHAKIR translation)

16) What! Has he taken daughters to himself of what he himself creates and chosen you to have sons?

17) And when one of them is given news of that of which he sets up as a likeness for the beneficent Allah, his face becomes black and he is full of rage

18) What! That which is made in ornaments and which in contention is unable to make plain speech!

19) And they make the angels– them who are the servants of the beneficent Allah– female (divinities). What! Did they witness their creation? Their evidence shall be written down and they shall be questioned

20) And they say: if the beneficent Allah had pleased, we should never have worshipped them. They have no knowledge of this; they only lie

21) Or have we given them a book before it so that they hold fast to it?

22) Nay! They say: we found our fathers on a course, and surely we are guided by their footsteps

23) And thus, we did not send before you any warner (Prophet) in a town, but those who led easy lives in it said: surely we found our fathers on a course, and surely we are followers of their footsteps

24) (The warner) said: what! Even if I bring to you a better guide than that on which you found your fathers? They said: surely we are unbelievers in that with which you are sent

25) So we inflicted retribution on them, then see how the end of the rejecters was

Allah Asks you (29) will you then submit to Allah’ Will?

Allah Says that Muhammad is a Mercy to all the worlds

Satan says the opposite!

where are you in this crucial issue?

Only Allah Knows when the Day of Resurrection is

————————————————-

In the Noble Quran, Allah is asking mankind some important questions.

It seems compulsory for the serious one who is looking for the truth to have a look at those questions and if possible to answer them.

Allah’ questions are many. In this series, these questions are chosen randomly.

Allah is asking mankind this question: Say: it is only revealed to me that your God is one, Allah; will you then submit? But if they turn back, say: I have given you warning in fairness; although I do not know whether nigh or far that which you are promised of chastisement is with respect to the Day of Resurrection that comprises this chastisement; only Allah knows it.

The question in this article is to all the disbelievers:

Say: it is only revealed to me that your God is one, Allah; will you then submit? But if they turn back, say: I have given you warning in fairness; although I do not know whether nigh or far that which you are promised of chastisement is with respect to the Day of Resurrection that comprises this chastisement; only Allah knows it.

If you submit yourself to Allah then you are a Muslim and if not, you are not.

You totally have the freedom of belief, but are you ready for the “Hour”?

Verses 21:107-110 give the question of this article and talk about it

The meanings of Verses 21:107-110

Verse 21:107 says:

We did not send you O Muhammad, except as a mercy to all the worlds, the worlds of mankind and jinn through you; that shields from chastisement for the peoples from among the Jinn, humans and all those who believe in you; it is also said that mercy here means blessing.

Herein, there is a very important question:

Allah, the Creator of the worlds says that He sent Muhammad as a mercy to all the worlds.

On the other hand, Satan and his hosts say the opposite.

Well, where are you in this crucial issue?

Verse 21:108 says:

Say O Muhammad: It is inspired unto me in this Quran that your God is One; Allah Who has no children or partners.  So will you submit?

Will you then surrender unto Him?

will you accede to affirming the Oneness of the Divine that is being revealed to me?

will you then believe and be sincere in your worship and profession of Allah’s divine Oneness!

Verse 21:109 says:

If you submit yourself to Allah then you are a Muslim and if not, you are not.

You totally have the freedom of belief, but are you ready for the “Hour”?

But if they turn away from faith and sincerity, then say to them, O Muhammad:

I have warned you, I have informed you, and as such you and I have become all alike both of us are openly aware of the matter and there is no secret, that is to say, you are all equal in having knowledge of this: I shall not proceed independently without having first informed you, in order for you to make preparations, although I do not know whether nigh or far that which you are promised of chastisement is with respect to the Day of Resurrection that comprises this chastisement; only Allah knows it.

Verse 21:110 says:

Indeed He, exalted be He, knows whatever is spoken aloud, and what you and others do, and He knows what you conceal, both you and others, of secrets of words and deeds, just as He knows the time of your chastisement.

109) But if they turn back, say: “I have proclaimed the message to you all alike and in truth; but I know not whether that which ye are promised is near or far.

110) “It is he who knows what is open in speech and what ye hide (in your hearts).

Allah asks you (9) would you dispute with us about Allah, who is our lord and your lord?

1)    Abraham, Isaac and Jacob were neither Jews nor Christians, Allah Declares

2)    Allah is not at all heedless of what you do

Verses 2:139-141 give the question of this article and talk about it

The meanings of the verses 34:31-34

Verse 2:139 says:

Say O Muhammad, unto the People of the Scripture, would you then dispute with us concerning God, that He chose a prophet from among the Arabs, and so it is for Him to choose whom He will, Our deeds belong to us, for which we will be requited, and to you belong your deeds, for which you will be requited, so that it is not improbable that among our deeds there will be those for which we will deserve to be honored; and to Him we are sincerely devoted, in religion and in deed, unlike you, hence, we are more worthy to be chosen

Do you argue with us concerning Allah, concerning the Religion of Allah when He is our Lord and your Lord? When Allah is our Lord and yours?

Ours are our works; we have our religion and yours your work, your religion.

And we are sincere in our faith in Him, we acknowledge that we worship Him and declare that there is only one true God.

Verse 2:140 says:

Or, nay, do you say O Jews and Christians that Abraham, and Ishmael, and Isaac and Jacob, and the tribes, the children of Jacob were Jews or Christians as you claim?

Say to them, O Muhammad! Do you know best, or does Allah?

Do you know best about their religion or does Allah?

Say, to them: ‘Have you then greater knowledge, or has God? That is, God has greater knowledge; He dissociated Abraham from both groups, when He said, Abraham was not a Jew, nor a Christian [See verse 3:67];

Allah has already informed us that Abraham was neither a Jew nor a Christian.

And who is more unjust, in his disbelief and more insolent and daring vis-à-vis Allah than he who hides a testimony which he has received from Allah in the Torah concerning the prophet hood of the Prophet Muhammad?

Allah is not unaware, heedless of what you do about concealing your testimony.

Verse 2:141says:

Those are a group of people, a nation that has passed away, perished;

Theirs is that which they earned of goodness and yours is that which you earn of goodness.

And you will not be asked on the Day of Judgment of what they used to do in the life of this world.

Verses 2:139-141 in different translations:

QARIB:

139) Say: ‘would you dispute with us about Allah, who is our lord and your lord? Our deeds belong to us and your deeds belong to you. We are sincere to him.

140) Or do you say that Abraham, Ishmael, Isaac, Jacob, and the tribes, were Jews or Christians! Say: ‘who knows better, you or Allah? Who is more unjust than he who hides a testimony received from Allah? And Allah is not inattentive of what you do. ‘

141) That nation has passed away. Theirs is what they earned and yours what you have earned. You shall not be questioned about what they did.

SHAKIR:

139) Say: do you dispute with us about Allah, and he is our lord and your lord, and we shall have our deeds and you shall have your deeds, and we are sincere to him

140) Nay! Do you say that Abraham, Ishmael, Isaac, Jacob, and the tribes, were Jews or Christians? Say: are you better knowing or Allah? And who is more unjust than he who conceals a testimony that he has from Allah? And Allah is not at all heedless of what you do

141) This is a people that have passed away; they shall have what they earned and you shall have what you earn, and you shall not be called upon to answer for what they did

PICKTHAL:

139) Say (unto the people of the scripture): dispute ye with us concerning Allah when he is our lord and your lord? Ours are our works and yours your works. We look to him alone.

140) Or say ye that Abraham, Ishmael, Isaac, Jacob, and the tribes, were Jews or Christians? Say: do ye know best, or doth Allah? And who is more unjust than he who hideth a testimony which he hath received from Allah? Allah is not unaware of what ye do.

141) Those are a people who have passed away; theirs is that which they earned and yours that which ye earn. And ye will not be asked of what they used to do.

YUSUFALI:

139) Say: will ye dispute with us about Allah, seeing that he is our lord and your lord; that we are responsible for our doings and ye for yours; and that we are sincere (in our faith) in him?

140) Or do ye say that Abraham, Ishmael, Isaac, Jacob, and the tribes, were Jews or Christians? Say: do ye know better than Allah? Ah! Who is more unjust than those who conceal the testimony they have from Allah? But Allah is not unmindful of what ye do!

141) That was a people that hath passed away. They shall reap the fruit of what they did, and ye of what ye do! Of their merits there is no question in your case:

Chapter 6 of the Quran (16) when the Unbelievers Wish to Believe?

When the unbelievers were locked up in the Fire they will say: we wish to return back to the world; then we would not deny the Scriptures and messengers of our Lord and we would be of the believers

————————————————————————————-

Ayah 6:27-28, when the Unbelievers Wish to be Believers; but they were Liars!

the verse 6:27 says:

If you, O Muhammad could see the unbelievers when they were set before and then locked up in the Fire, which is their final destination; you would be seeing a terrible thing indeed.

What the unbelievers would say?

Oh we wish to return back to the world; then we would not deny the signs of our Lord, we would not deny the revelations of our Lord, we would not deny His Scriptures and messengers and we would be of the believers! we would with the believers inwardly and outwardly.

But Allah knew and knows them and what the hide and what they disclose; hence, the verse 6:28 says:

And if they were sent back to the life of this world, as they request they would return unto that which they were forbidden; they would return unto their disbelief and idolatry.

Lo! they were liars because were they to be returned, they would still not believe.

In other words, even if, hypothetically, they were returned, to the world, they would return to that which they were forbidden, of idolatry; they were truly liars, when they promise that they would believe if they were to be returned.

The verses 6:27-28 in different translations

QARIB:

27) If you could see them when they were set before the fire! they will say: ‘would that we could return! then we would not belie the verses of our lord and would be believers. ‘

28) Indeed, that which they concealed will appear to them. But if they were sent back, they would return to that which they have been forbidden. They were indeed liars.

SHAKIR:

27) And could you see when they were made to stand before the fire, then they shall say: would that we were sent back, and we would not reject the communications of our lord and we would be of the believers

28) Nay, what they concealed before shall become manifest to them; and if they were sent back, they would certainly go back to that which they were forbidden, and most surely they were liars

PICKTHAL:

27) If thou couldst see when they were set before the fire and say: oh, would that we might return! then would we not deny the revelations of our lord but we would be of the believers!

28) Nay, but that hath become clear unto them which before they used to hide. And if they were sent back they would return unto that which they were forbidden. Lo! They were liars.

YUSUFALI:

27) If thou couldst but see when they were confronted with the fire! they will say: “would that we were but sent back! Then would we not reject the signs of our lord, but would be amongst those who believe!”

28) Yea, in their own (eyes) will become manifest what before they concealed. but if they were returned, they would certainly relapse to the things they were forbidden, for they were indeed liars.
