Atheists in Quran (8) they contend with falsehood

Throughout the History, the Atheists disputed their messengers with falsehood; their aim was to invalidate the truth of Allah’ scriptures and message.

———————————

The meanings of the verse 18:56:

Allah sent a messenger (and/or prophet) to every nation.

Allah sent his messengers with one message; it is believe in Allah, the One, the Almighty Creator, the Merciful, the Forgiving, He has no partner, no similar, no son etc.

Allah’s messengers were bearers and warners

  • They were bearers of good tidings (Paradise) to believers
  • They were warners against Eternal hell for the disbelievers

All the messengers and the prophets were belied by most of their people, folks, tribes and nations.

The Atheists among the people of the messengers belied them and disbelieved in them.

The Atheists who disbelieved disputed with falsehood.

The Atheists gave many false reasons to justify their disbelief

They say for example:

  • Has God sent a human as a messenger?
  • God has to send an Angel not a human
  • We have never heard about that from our ancients
  • Why God choose this man specifically?
  • We want to see God and talk to him
  • Etc. of their foolish and ignorant falsehood

When they say that and the like of such statements, that they may refute thereby, that by way of their disputing they may invalidate the truth of Allah’ scriptures.

Throughout the History, the Atheists disputed their messengers with falsehood, their aim was to invalidate the truth of Allah’ scriptures and message.

This happened to all the messengers like for example Noah, Hud, Salih, Abraham, Lot, Ishmael, Isaac, Jacob, Joseph, Job, Moses, Aaron, David, Solomon, Elias, Jonah, Zachariah, John, Jesus and Prophet Muhammad

Sometimes, the Atheists knew some verses of the Quran and they take them in mockery

They have taken in mockery the verses of the Quran that whereof they have been warned, in the way of the Eternal Hell.

They take Allah’s revelations, messengers, and that wherewith they are threatened of chastisement as a jest and mockery.

———————————

The verse 18:56 in different translations:

QARIB:

We send our messengers only to proclaim glad tidings and to give warning. but the unbelievers dispute with false arguments so that they may belie the truth. they have taken my verses and warnings in mockery.

SHAKIR:

And we do not send messengers but as givers of good news and warning, and those who disbelieve make a false contention that they may render null thereby the truth, and they take my communications and that with which they are warned for a mockery

PICKTHAL:

We send not the messengers save as bearers of good news and warners. Those who disbelieve contend with falsehood in order to refute the truth thereby. And they take our revelations and that wherewith they are threatened as a jest.

YUSUFALI:

We only send the messengers to give glad tidings and to give warnings: but the unbelievers dispute with vain argument, in order therewith to weaken the truth, and they treat my signs as a jest, as also the fact that they are warned!

Angels in Islam (33) who believed in Angels?

The faith is one package, it is ALL or NONE; if you deny anyone of it, you are UNBELIEVERS and you will dwell in the Eternal Hell in the Afterlife.

———————————-

The meanings of the verse 2:285:

The Messenger Muhammad believes in what was revealed to him from his Lord (Quran), and the believers; each one alone in totality believes in:

1)    Allah, witnessing His Oneness

2)    Allah’s Angels,

3)    Allah’s Books, all of them and each of them, and

4)    Allah’s Messengers, and they make no distinction between any of His messengers; they say: we do not disbelieve in any of his messengers. They say: we do not distinguish between any of Allah’s Messengers either by rejecting some or accepting others. Nor do we doubt that they are upon the truth and sent with the truth.

(They are not like the Jews and the Christians who are believing in some messengers and disbelieving in others)

And then the Prophet Muhammad said and so do the believers:

  • We hear, what we have been enjoined to hear and accept, and obey the command of our Lord
  • We ask you: Grant us Your forgiveness, our Lord; forgive us for the discourse of our souls, our Lord
  • To you, our Lord, is the homecoming, unto you is the return after death. That is, the return at the Resurrection.

It follows that it essential to believe in:

1) Allah at first

2) The Angels, all of them. Do not say that one of them is an enemy (like the Jews who say that Gabriel is their enemy)

3) All the books that are revealed from Allah like the book of Abraham, the Genuine Torah revealed unto the Prophet Moses, the book revealed unto the Prophet David and the Genuine Gospel revealed unto the Prophet Jesus.

4) All the Messengers and Prophets without any distinction; it essential to believe that all the Messengers and Prophets are the best ever among human beings. They are chosen by Allah. They all have done their job conveying Allah’s message to their people, folk, tribe, and nation. The principle message of all of them was: There is No god save Allah.

The principle message was the principle teaching of Adam, Noah, Hood, Salih, Abraham, Lot, Ishmael, Isaac, Jacob, Joseph, Job, Shu’aib, Moses, Moses, Aaron, David, Solomon, Elias, Elisha, Jonah, Zachariah, John, Jesus and Muhammad.

It should be emphasized that the above 1), 2) 3) and 4) is one package, it is ALL or NONE

According to Islamic teaching, if you reject or deny anyone of the above, then you are UNBELIEVERS and you will dwell in the Eternal Hell forever in the Afterlife.

Allah and His Angels are our witnesses that I wrote it and you read it.

———————————-

The verse 2:285 in different translations:

QARIB:

The messenger believes in what has been sent down to him from his lord, and so do the believers. Each believes in Allah and his angels, his books, and his messengers, we do not differentiate between any one of his messengers. They say: ‘we hear and obey. (We ask) your forgiveness lord, and to you is the arrival.

SHAKIR:

The messenger believes in what has been revealed to him from his lord, and (so do) the believers; they all believe in Allah and his angels and his books and his messengers; we make no difference between any of his messengers; and they say: we hear and obey, our lord! Thy forgiveness (do we crave), and to thee is the eventual course

PICKTHAL:

The messenger believeth in that which hath been revealed unto him from his lord and (so do) believers. Each one believeth in Allah and his angels and his scriptures and his messengers – we make no distinction between any of his messengers – and they say: we hear, and we obey. (Grant us) thy forgiveness, our lord. Unto thee is the journeying.

YUSUFALI:

The messenger believeth in what hath been revealed to him from his lord, as do the men of faith. Each one (of them) believeth in Allah, his angels, his books, and his messengers. “We make no distinction (they say) between one and another of his messengers.” and they say: “we hear, and we obey: (we seek) thy forgiveness, our lord, and to thee is the end of all journeys.”

Angels in Islam (27) Gabriel conveyed Allah’s message

The great Angel Gabriel conveyed Allah’s message to His entire Prophets.

The event of the first revelation of the Quran is mentioned in the Bible.

——————————————-

The duties of the Angels are many.

One of their important duties is to convey the revelation from Allah to His Messengers.

The great Angel Gabriel (Jibreel) is the one responsible for handing over Allah’s message to Allah’s Messengers and Prophets.

Gabriel conveyed Allah’s message to some thousands of Prophets which Allah sent.

Although the Quran mentions 25 Prophets by names, however; Allah sent at least one messenger to every nation from Adam up to Muhammad (the last one).

Gabriel conveyed Allah’s message to the Prophets Noah, Hood, Salih, Abraham, Lot, Ishmael, Isaac, Jacob, Joseph, Job, Shu’aib, Moses, Moses, Aaron, David, Solomon, Elias, Elisha, Jonah, Zachariah, John, Jesus etc.

Allah’s message to His entire Messengers and Prophets is the same that is there is no god but Allah and submit to Him.

Literally, submission to Allah means Islam

The story of the first revelation of the Quran

Essential background:

Muhammad was born and raised in Mecca, he was illiterate.

His family was very big power-wise and authority-wise.

However, he was concerned with the social conflict, injustice, widespread discrimination (principally against women and black people), fighting among tribes and abuse of ancestral authorities dominant in pre-Islamic Arabia. The moral deterioration of his fellow people, and the err religion of worshipping idols.

He never ever worshiped an idol

He used to spend many hours or few days in a cave sitting alone looking for his Creator and feeling sorry about his people who used to worship many different idols.

When He was 40 years and while he was in the cave, Gabriel appeared to him.

Gabriel gave him a piece of paper and commanded him to read what was written in it.

Muhammad said: I cannot read, I am not a reader

Gabriel hugged him powerfully, then left him and commanded him again to read what was written. Muhammad’s reply was the same.

The powerful Gabriel’s hug and his command repeated twice but yielding the same Muhammad’s reply.

Then Gabriel said:

Read! In the name of your Lord and Cherisher, He is the One Who created

He Created man, out of “Alaq”

Read! And your Lord is Most Bountiful,

Who taught man with the use of the pen,-

He taught man that which he knew not.

(The verses 96:1-5)

And this was the first revelation of the Quran.

To whom it may concern

The event of the first revelation of the Quran is mentioned in the Bible (Isaiah 29:12).

Attention: None of the Israelites’ prophets was illiterate!

——————————————-

Isaiah 29:12

21st Century King James Version

12- And the book is delivered to him that is not learned, saying, “Read this, I pray thee”; and he saith, “I am not learned”.

Common English Bible:

12- And when the scroll is given to one who can’t read, saying, “Read this,” that one will say, “I can’t read.”

American Standard Version

12- And the book is delivered to him that is not learned, saying, Read this, I pray thee; and he saith, I am not learned.

Amplified Bible

12- And when the book is given to him who is not learned, saying, Read this, I pray you, he says, I cannot read.

Angels in Islam (25) are they beautiful or ugly?

Depending on who is the eyewitness; the Angels could be seen either extremely beautiful or very horrifying ugly beings. And, this is one of Allah’s miracles.

——————————————

The Angels are extremely beautiful it is common to see the picture of an Angel in the western media; wherein the Angel is portrayed as a small beautiful boy with two little wings.

It is also a common knowledge throughout man’s history that the Angels are strikingly nice-looking.

The idea that Angels are beautiful is firmly established in all people’s minds, so much so that they liken a beautiful human to an Angel, as the women said about the Prophet Yusuf (Joseph), the son of Jacob: “. . . When they [the women] saw him, they did extol him and (in their amazement) cut their hands: they said: ‘Allah preserve us! No mortal is this! This is none other than a noble Angel!’” (The verse 12:31)

Upon describing the great Angel Gabriel (Jibreel), the Quran says that he is “Dhoo Mirrah”. It is an Arabic word that means free from any defect and he has a very beautiful appearance (the verse 53:5-6)

The Angels also came to the Prophet Ibrahim (Abraham) and the Prophet Lut (Lot) in the form of young men with beautiful faces. (The verses 51:24-28 and the verses 11:77-81 respectively)

Also, Allah sent the Angel Gabriel (Jibreel) to Saint Mary (Maryam) in the form of a good looking man (the verse 19:17)

In addition, The Angel Gabriel (Jibreel) used to come to the Prophet Muhammad in the form of a good looking man

In short, the Angels are generally extremely beautiful beings with wings as described in the Quran (The verse 35:1).

It is said that looking at the beautiful Angels is a great Bliss.

We knew that the Spectator of the beautiful Angels were:

  • The Prophet Abraham
  • The Prophet Lot
  • The Prophet Muhammad
  • Saint Mary

All of them were strictly submissive to Allah

All of them deserve the great Bliss of watching the beautiful Angels.

Now, the question is: do the unbelievers deserve the great bliss of seeing the beautiful Angels?

The verse 68:35 answers this question, it says:

  • Shall your Lord (O Muhammad) make the reward of those who submit to Allah as the reward of the unbelievers?
  • Are your Lord then to treat those who submit as the sinners?

It follows that the unbelievers, unlike the believers, will not be able to see the beautiful Angels.

But, they will see them for sure face to face at the moment of their death (Read the Articles 22-24)

The thing is that the Angels are able to change their form, shape, color, voice etc. to whatever they want.

Allah gave them this unique ability to change their form, shape, color, voice etc.

It is forbidden for the unbelievers to see them as beautiful beings.

For this reason, the Angels will appear to the unbelievers as Very horrifying ugly beings with very terrifying loud voices.

And this is one of the many Allah’s miracles

——————————————

The verse 68:35 in different translations:

QARIB:

What, shall we make those who are submissive like the wrongdoers?

SHAKIR:

What! Shall we then make (that is, treat) those who submit as the guilty?

PICKTHAL:

Shall we then treat those who have surrendered as we treat the guilty?

YUSUFALI:

Shall we then treat the people of faith like the people of sin?

In Bible vs. Quran, Jesus denied that He is God (17) His Only One True God

In the Bible, the lord Jesus says “And this is the eternal life: to know you, the only true God, and Jesus Christ whom you have sent”.
The Quran says that all the messengers have told their people that there is no god save the only one true God whose personal name is Allah.

———————————

In his Prayer for his followers, Jesus says in John 17:3 “And this is the eternal life: to know you, the only true God, and Jesus Christ whom you have sent” (21st Century King James Version, American Standard Version,  Common English Bible etc.)

Also, John 17:3 according to Amplified Bible says:

“And this is eternal life: [it means] to know (to perceive, recognize, become acquainted with, and understand) You, the only true and real God, and [likewise] to know Him, Jesus [as the] Christ (the Anointed One, the Messiah), Whom You have sent.”

In this clear-cut verse, Jesus promised His Followers to have the eternal life if they know and believe that: “There is only one true God; and this only one true God has sent Jesus”.

In other wood: “There is only one true God and Jesus is His messenger”.

Herein, Jesus made a kind of deal with his followers; they have to believe in only one true God who sent His messenger Jesus and the reward will be the eternal life; that is the Eternal Paradise.

To understand and appreciate this great verse, the smart reader is invited to read the articles:

In Bible vs. Quran, Jesus denied that He is God? (3) Sender vs. sent (a, b, and c)

In Bible vs. Quran, Jesus denied that He is God (10) Greater than He

In Bible vs. Quran, Jesus denied that He is God (11) His God

———————————

On the other hand, the Quran says that the Job of all the messengers which Allah has sent is to teach their people to say and believe that there is no god except the only one true God whose personal name is Allah.

Throughout the entire Quran, you find that Noah, Abraham, Jacob, Joseph, Moses and Jesus used to tell their people that there is no god except the only one true God.

The following Verse (21:25) summarizes this fact.

QARIB:

We never sent a messenger before you except that we revealed to him saying: ‘there is no god except me, therefore, worship me. ‘

SHAKIR:

And we did not send before you any messenger but we revealed to him that there is no god but me, therefore serve me

PICKTHAL:

And we sent no messenger before thee but we inspired him, (saying): there is no Allah save me (Allah), so worship me.

YUSUFALI:

Not a messenger did we send before thee without this inspiration sent by us to him: that there is no god but i; therefore worship and serve me.

Chapter 6 of the Quran (117) All Messengers = One Message

This was, and still is, Muhammad’s message to mankind.  This was also the message of all the messengers, sent by Allah, to their people. This was the message of Noah, Hud, Saleh, Abraham, Lot, Ishmael, Isaac, Jacob, Joseph, Shu’aib, Moses, David, Solomon, Elias, Jonah, Jesus,

——————————————————————————————————

In the previous article, Submission to Allah was Abraham’s Religion and was the Religion Abraham’ descendants.

Back to the original Abraham and his descendants’ Religion, Ayah 6:162-163 say:

Say O Muhammad, to the Jews, to the Christians and to mankind:

Lo! my worship, my five daily prayers , my rituals, my sacrifice, my devotions, in the way of pilgrimage and otherwise, and my living (my life), and my dying (my death) were all for Allah, the Lord of the Worlds.

In short, my entire life, my entire activities, my entire deeds in this world were for the sake of the obedience and pleasure of Allah; the Master and the King of the entire worlds.

§  He has no partner.

§  He has no wife.

§  He has no son.

§  He has no daughter.

§  He has no equivalent.

§  Nothing is equal or similar to Him.

I am commanded to believe in Him,

I am the first (among my people) of those who submit unto Him

I am the first (among my people) of those who sincerely worship Him and confess His divine Oneness.

Every one of those great Messengers and Prophet clearly conveyed this message unto his people.

The verses 6:162-163 in different translations

QARIB:

162) say: ‘my prayers and my worship (for example, pilgrimage and sacrifice), my life and my death, were all for Allah, the lord of the worlds.

163) he has no partner, with that i am command ed, and i am the first of the submitters (Muslims). ‘

SHAKIR:

162) say. surely my prayer and my sacrifice and my life and my death were (all) for Allah, the lord of the worlds;

163) no associate has he; and this am i command ed, and i am the first of those who submit

PICKTHAL:

162) say: lo! My worship and my sacrifice and my living and my dying were for Allah, lord of the worlds.

163) he hath no partner. This am i commanded, and i am first of those who surrender (unto him).

YUSUFALI:

162) say: “truly, my prayer and my service of sacrifice, my life and my death, were (all) for Allah, the cherisher of the worlds:

163) no partner hath he: this am i command ed, and i am the first of those who bow to his will.

Chapter 6 of the Quran (116) One = Ten = 700

One good deed = Ten good rewards in the Afterlife. However, there is more unbelievable kindness, it is said that if Allah wills, this ten good rewards may be duplicated up to 700 and even more (unlimited). On the other hand, One evil deed = One evil reward in the Afterlife.

——————————————————————————————————

Look at this very Kind equation that shows how kind Allah is,

One good deed = Ten good rewards in the Afterlife

However, there is more unbelievable kindness, it is said that has Allah willed, this ten good rewards may be duplicated up to 700 and even more (unlimited)

On the other hand,

One evil deed = One evil reward in the Afterlife

Ayah 6:160 says:

Whoever brings a good deed shall receive tenfold the like of it, that is, the reward for ten good deeds.

Whoever brings an evil deed shall only be requited the like of it, and they shall not be wronged, nothing shall be diminished from their just requital.

Back to those (the Jews and the Christians) who have become differing parties, sects with regard to their religion, you, O Muhammad, have no concern with them at all.

Back to the original Religion sent by Allah, Ayah 6:161 says:

Say O Muhammad, to the Jews, to the Christians and to mankind:

As for me, my Lord has guided me to a straight path, a right and an upright religion, a hanīf, the Religion of Abraham who never ever ascribed anything unto Allah; He totally and absolutely submitted to Allah.

Islam = Submission to Allah.

Submission to Allah was Abraham’s Religion and was the Religion Abraham’ descendants

Submission to Allah was Ishmael’s Religion

Submission to Allah was Isaac’s Religion

Submission to Allah was Jacob’s Religion

Submission to Allah was Joseph’s Religion

Submission to Allah was Moses’ Religion

Submission to Allah was David’s Religion

Submission to Allah was Solomon’s Religion

Submission to Allah was Jesus’ Religion

Submission to Allah was Muhammad’s Religion

—————————————————————-

The verses 6:160-161 in different translations

QARIB:

160) He who brings a good deed shall have tenfold of its like, but he who brings a sin shall be recompensed only for its like. None shall be wronged.

161) say: ‘my lord has guided me to a straight path, an upright religion, the creed of Abraham, he was upright, not from the idolaters. ‘

SHAKIR:

160) Whoever brings a good deed, he shall have ten like it, and whoever brings an evil deed, he shall be recompensed only with the like of it, and they shall not be dealt with unjustly

161) say: surely, (as for) me, my lord has guided me to the right path; (to) a most right religion, the faith of ibrahim the upright one, and he was not of the polytheists

PICKTHAL:

160) Whoso bringeth a good deed will receive tenfold the like thereof, while whoso bringeth an ill-deed will be awarded but the like thereof; and they will not be wronged.

161) say: lo! as for me, my lord hath guided me unto a straight path, a right religion, the community of Abraham, the upright, who was no idolater.

YUSUFALI:

160) He that doeth good shall have ten times as much to his credit: he that doeth evil shall only be recompensed according to his evil: no wrong shall be done unto (any of) them.

161) say: “verily, my lord hath guided me to a way that is straight,- a religion of right,- the path (trod) by Abraham the true in faith, and he (certainly) joined not gods with Allah.”

Chapter 6 of the Quran (85) the persistent Historical Law

The Prophet Muhammad was not an exception; the chief leaders and wealthy among the people of Mecca were the top unbelievers. They intensely deny Him and did their best to impede the faith.  However, they plot only against themselves, because the evil consequences thereof will befall them, though they do not perceive this fact.

——————————————-

Throughout the history of mankind, there is a determined constant historical law

The law is that: the top leading unbelievers of any and evey Prophet Allah sent are the chief leaders and wealthy among the people of each Prophet.

The history of mankind tells that this determined constant law was true as it shows that:

The chief leaders and wealthy among the people of the Prophet Noah were the top leading unbelievers

The chief leaders and wealthy among the people of the Prophet Hud were the top leading unbelievers

The chief leaders and wealthy among the people of the Prophet Saleh were the top leading unbelievers

The chief leaders and wealthy among the people of the Prophet Abraham were the top leading unbelievers

The chief leaders and wealthy among the people of the Prophet Lot were the top leading unbelievers

The chief leaders and wealthy among the people of the Prophet Shu’aib were the top leading unbelievers

Pharoah and the chief leaders and wealthy Egyptians vs.the Prophet Moses were the top leading unbelievers

The chief Jewish leaders and wealthy among the people of the Prophet David were the top leading unbelievers

The chief Jewish leaders and wealthy among the people of the Prophet Solomon were the top leading unbelievers

The chief leaders and wealthy among the people of the Prophet Elias were the top leading unbelievers

The chief leaders and wealthy among the people of the Prophet Jonah were the top leading unbelievers

The chief Jewish leaders and wealthy among the people of the Prophet Zachariah were the top leading unbelievers

The chief Jewish leaders and wealthy among the people of the Prophet John were the top leading unbelievers

The chief Jewish leaders, priest and Rabbis among the people of the Prophet Jesus were the top leading unbelievers

Ayah 6:123 says:

The Prophet Muhammad was not an exception. The chief leaders and wealthy among the people of Mecca were the top unbelievers and the great sinners ones; they used to sneer and engage in transgression and corruption. They intensely deny the prophet Muhammad and did their best to impede the faith and the truth.

However, the fact is that they plot only against themselves, because the evil consequences thereof will befall them, though they do not perceive this fact.

—————————————————————-

The verse 6:123 in different translations

QARIB:

And as such we have placed in every village its archtransgressors to scheme there. but they scheme only against themselves, though they do not sense it.

SHAKIR:

And thus have we made in every town the great ones to be its guilty ones, that they may plan therein; and they do not plan but against their own souls, and they do not perceive

PICKTHAL:

And thus have we made in every city great ones of its wicked ones, that they should plot therein. they do but plot against themselves, though they perceive not.

YUSUFALI:

Thus have we placed leaders in every town, its wicked men, to plot (and burrow) therein: but they only plot against their own souls, and they perceive it not.

Chapter 6 of the Quran (78) the Prophet’s Enemies

But, who listen to this fine varnished speech?

Those who do not believe in the Day of Judgment and Afterlife listen to and follow such fine varnished speech.

The fact is that they do not recognize that they will be punished for what they are acquiring of sins on the Day of Judgment although it is the absolute truth.

——————————————-

In the previous article, Allah appointed unto every Prophet enemies who the truth and the straight path of Allah.

Ayah 6:113 says:

Throughout the history, those enemies of the prophets are the devils unbelievers of mankind and jinn; they use the varnished speech to attack the prophets and to put them down.

They inspire, whisper, fine varnished speech to each other, the falsehood that is disguised as such in delusion, in order to delude themslves and delude the others.

The same happened exactly to the Prophet Muhammad and is still happening.

But, who listen to this fine varnished speech? Those who do not believe in the Day of Judgment and Afterlife listen to and follow such speech; they the fact that they will be punished for what they are acquiring of sins on the Day of Judgment although it is the absolute truth.

—————————————————

The verse 6:113 in different translations

QARIB:

So that the hearts of those who have no belief in the everlasting life are inclined to it and , being pleased, persist in their sinful ways.

SHAKIR:

And that the hearts of those who do not believe in the hereafter may incline to it and that they may be well pleased with it and that they may earn what they are going to earn (of evil)

PICKTHAL:

That the hearts of those who believe not in the hereafter may incline thereto, and that they may take pleasure therein, and that they may earn what they are earning.

YUSUFALI:

To such (deceit) let the hearts of those incline, who have no faith in the hereafter: let them delight in it, and let them earn from it what they may.

Chapter 6 of the Quran (58) Abraham’s Descendants – D

Allah honored Abraham’s Descendants saying: “Those prophets whom Allah has told you about (Abraham’s Descendants) are they, whom Allah has guided to the noblest character traits, so follow their guidance. Also, follow their way of affirming Allah’s Oneness and of exercising patience.”

——————————————-

In the previous articles, they threatened Abraham that their gods will hurt him amd make him infertile. But, Allah made Abraham the father of the prophets.

Abraham is the father of Ishmael, Isaac, Jacob, Joseph, Job, Moses, Aaron, David, Solomon, Elias, Elisha, Jonah, Zachariah, John, Jesus and Muhammad.

Allah bestowed upon Abraham’s Descendants prophethood and surrender to Him; all of them were the top righteous among mankind and they all submit to Allah.

Allah chose Abraham’s Descendants and guided them unto the straight path and made them firm on His path.

In Ayah 6:89, Allah Honored Abraham’s Descendants saying:

They are the ones to whom Allah gave the Scripture (which the Angel Gabriel brought down from heaven), prophethood, judgement, wisdom, knowledge and understanding.

So if the unbelievers of Mecca disbelieve therein in their way and religion, then verily Allah shall entrust it to a people who do not disbelieve in it and Allah shall give them success to follow the way and religion of the prophets, the Abraham’s Descendants.

This prophecy exactly fulfilled when the people of Madina embrace Islam and helped the Prophet Muhammad very much to spread Islam.

Again, in Ayah 6:90, Allah Well-regarded Abraham’s Descendants saying:

Those prophets whom Allah has told you about are they whom Allah has guided to the most noble of character traits, so follow their guidance. Also, follow their way of affirming Allah’s Oneness and of exercising patience.

And for the unbelievers of Mecca, Say, to them:

I do not ask of you, to give me, any wage for Islam, and remember that the Qurān is only a reminder, an admonition, to all the worlds, of mankind and jinn.

The verses 6:89-90 in different translations
