Atheists in Quran (51) another Scientific fact. Recycling

The Quran is the first book on the face of Earth that mentions the scientific fact of recycling more than 1400 years ago. This may help the scientific-minded Atheists to realize that Allah is able to bring them back to life on the Day of Judgment.

———————————————–

The verse 10:4 of the Noble Quran is composed of 28 Arabic words; it talks about:

1) A very important fact

2) Then the verse strengthens this important fact by assuring us that this fact is but an Allah’s promise that will happen certainly.

3) Then the verse makes a remarkable scientific pause to simplify the important fact and make it easy to be understood by the scientific minded people

4) Further, discuss the impact of the important fact on both the believers and the Atheists

———————————————–

1) What is the very important fact? To Allah you shall return

2) How the verse strengthens this important fact? It is Allah’s promise will certainly happen.

3) What is the remarkable scientific pause? Allah originates the creation and repeats it. This scientific pause = the recycling of everything around us

4) What is the impact of the important fact on both the believers and the Atheists?

On the believers = reward, with equity

The Atheists = scalding drink + grievous suffering

———————————————–

The verse and the remarkable scientific pause

The remarkable scientific pause is translated as

Allah originates the creation and repeats it, or

Allah begins the creation and he reproduces it

The verbs originates, begins, repeats and reproduces are in the present tense that indicate the continuity of the acts of beginning the creation and the repetition of it.

All organic material in nature are recycled. If you go for a walk in the woods, you will see compost formed from deadfall. Organisms like mushrooms help to break down the deadfall and create the compost. When a living thing dies, it breaks down and becomes a source for nutrients for other living things. Even animal waste is utilized as fertilizer.

If we look around us or inside us we then acknowledge this Quranic scientific fact very much

Everything around us is created, recycled and then created again

Around us, we see that the soil, air, gases, clouds, rain, plants, bacteria and energy are recycled every minute etc.

Inside our body, we see that millions of cells are created, recycled and reproduced again every minute.

This is the ever-continuous Allah’s action

It goes without saying that the Quran is the first book on the face of Earth that mentions this scientific fact of recycling more than 1400 years ago.

———————————————–

How this this scientific fact of recycling serves the issue of Faith?

Let us agree first about this: without the continuous process of recycling that occurs every minute around and inside us, our lives would have been impossible.

Have we praise Allah for that?

Well, is the One who does that unable to bring you back to life in the Day of Judgment?

Back to the meanings of the verse 10:4

To Allah you shall return to face the reckoning when He gives each one, believer or unbeliever, his or her fitting reward

“To Him you shall all return. This is, in truth, Allah’s promise.”

Allah has promised that you will return to Him and Allah’s promise will certainly happen.

For resurrection is the completion of creation.

“He originates all His creation, and then brings them all back to life so that He may reward, with equity, those who have believed and done good deeds. As for the unbelievers, they shall have a scalding drink and a grievous suffering for their unbelief.”

Administering justice to all is in itself one of the aims of original creation and bringing all creatures back to life. Similarly, giving pure happiness and enjoyment without any unwelcome consequences to spoil its effects is another aim of the process of creation and resurrection.

The unbelievers will have to suffer the consequences of their errant ways just like one who violates the rules of health: he suffers disease and debility and they suffer distress after distress. Their outcome will be unmitigated misery, in contrast to the pure happiness the believers enjoy: “As for the unbelievers, they shall have a scalding drink and a grievous suffering for their persistent disbelief”

———————————————–

The verse 10:4 in different translations:

QARIB:

To him all of you will return together. This is, in truth, the promise of Allah. He originates creation, then he revives it so that he may recompense those who believe and do righteous deeds. As for the unbelievers, theirs is a drink of boiling water and a painful punishment for their disbelief.

SHAKIR:

To him is your return, of all (of you); the promise of Allah (made) in truth; surely he begins the creation in the first mstance, then he reproduces it, that he may with justice recompense those who believe and do good; and (as for) those who disbelieve, they shall have a drink of hot water and painful punishment because they disbelieved

PICKTHAL:

Unto him is the return of all of you; it is a promise of Allah in truth. lo! he produceth creation, then reproduceth it, that he may reward those who believe and do good works with equity; while, as for those who disbelieve, theirs will be a boiling drink and painful doom because they disbelieved.

YUSUFALI:

To him will be your return- of all of you. the promise of Allah is true and sure. It is he who beginneth the process of creation, and repeateth it, that he may reward with justice those who believe and work righteousness; but those who reject him will have draughts of boiling fluids, and a penalty grievous, because they did reject him.

Atheists in Quran (45) their arrogance: diagnosis and treatment

This article declare three important issues about the Atheists; they are 1) How they becomes arrogant? 2) How they express their arrogance? 3) The treatment of their arrogance

———————————

How they become arrogant?

Man habitually forgets the fact that he is a weak small creature and that whatever strength he may have does not originate from within himself, but from Allah, the source of all strength and power.

Forgetting his bond with Allah, man begins to swell and take on prides.

Arrogance, thus, begins to establish itself within the heart of human being.

On the other hand, man has an essential evident enemy, the Satan.

Satan’s job = to make man astray

Satan’s target = to lead man to hell

Satan, who doomed himself because of his arrogance, works on man to increase his arrogance knowing that through it he can bring man to deterioration.

How the Atheists express their arrogance?

The Atheist disputes Allah’s revelations even when they are clear, addressing human nature with the sort of argument that appeals to it.

The Atheist also claims to himself and others that he is only raising questions because he is not yet convinced.

However, Allah who knows the inner feelings and secret thoughts of all His creatures makes clear that all this is the result of man’s arrogance.

Such arrogance prompts man to argue and dispute Allah’s revelations over which there can be no dispute.

Such arrogance also drives man to aspire to what is beyond his status and what his nature cannot attain.

Yet he has no solid basis for such argument for it is rooted deeply in nothing but his own arrogance:

“As for those who dispute Allah’s revelations, with no authority granted to them, there is nothing in their hearts but a quest for a greatness they will never attain.” (Verse 56)

If only man would understand the truth about himself and the universe, recognizing his role and not trying to exceed it, appreciating

that he is one of countless creatures each doing their role by Allah’s will and according to His design which He alone knows, he would certainly feel relaxed, humble, living in peace with himself and with the world around him.

If man did this, he would easily and readily submit himself to Allah. He would also do this without any hesitation.

“Seek, then, refuge with Allah, for He is the One who hears all and sees all.” (Verse 56)

Seeking refuge with Allah against arrogance is indicative of how grisly it is.

The believers seek Allah’s refuge in order to escape what is ghastly, horrible and evil. Arrogance combines all these. Moreover, it is hard for the arrogant person and for those around him. It causes harm to the heart in which it stirs and to other people’s hearts.

Arrogance is an evil we should seek refuge with Allah from it.

Allah hears all and sees all.

Arrogance is manifested by visible action and/or audible words.

Therefore, it is left to Allah to decide upon it as He pleases.

Man is then told of his true position in this great universe: how small he is in comparison to some of Allah’s creatures, the great magnitude of which is readily visible and better appreciated on careful examination:

“The creation of the heavens and the earth is indeed greater than the creation of man; yet most people do not understand.” (Verse 57)

The heavens and the earth are there for man to see and to measure himself in relation to them. When he knows the reality of the proportions of distance, dimension, size and power, he reduces his pride, feels his smallness and almost disappears. He can only hold his own when he remembers the superior element Allah has granted him, and for which Allah has honored him.

A quick glance at the universe is sufficient to appreciate all this. The earth on which we live is merely a small satellite of the sun: its mass compared to the mass of the sun is no more than three to a million, while its size is one-millionth of the size of the sun. Yet the sun is only one of around billion suns our galaxy includes.

Man now knows that there are around billion such galaxies dispersed in the great expanse of the universe.

Still, what we have discovered of the universe is merely a small part; it is so great that we become dazed when we even try to imagine it. The distance between the sun and us is about 93 million miles. The sun is the head of the family of our planet earth, and most probably, the sun is the mother of the earth.

Therefore, the earth remains close to its mother, standing merely 93 million miles away from it!

The diameter of our galaxy = one hundred billion light years, with one light year measuring 5.8 billion miles, because light travels at the speed of 186,000 miles per second.

The closest galaxy to our own is around 750,000 light years away.

We may say again that these distances and dimensions are the best man’s little knowledge has determined.

Scientists acknowledge that all their discoveries cover only a small part of this great universe.

Allah says:

“The creation of the heavens and the earth is indeed greater than the creation of man; yet most people do not understand” (Verse 57) When we speak of Allah’s power and ability, the concepts of greater or smaller, harder or easier do not apply. He creates everything by a single word, ‘Be!’ The reference here is to how things appear in themselves and how people see and measure them. How does man compare to this great expanse of the universe?

How high can his arrogance take him in Allah’s great creation?

“The blind and the seeing are not equal; nor can those who believe and do good works and those who do evil be deemed equal.” (Verse 58)

The one who is able to see learns and understands, recognizing his station. He does not give himself prides, nor does he allow conceit to distort his judgment.

By contrast, a blind person cannot recognize his position in relation to his surroundings. Therefore, he misjudges his position and what is around him.

The same applies to those believers who do good works and those who do evil. The first group see things for what they are and form accurate ideas, while the other group misjudges all due to their blind ignorance. They harm themselves and others, and above all, they assign to themselves an erroneous position in relation to their environment.

They are blind, for true blindness is that of the mind:

“How seldom you reflect.” (Verse 58)

Had we reflected, we would have known. The whole thing is clear, needing only some reflection before it becomes very apparent.

If only we would remember the hereafter, be certain of its coming, reflect on our position then and recall how we will then stand

“The Last Hour is sure to come: of this there is no doubt. Yet most people will not believe.” (Verse 59)

Because they do not believe, they argue and give themselves prides; they do not submit to the truth and do not limit themselves to their rightful position.

The treatment of their arrogance

Addressing our worship to Allah, praying and appealing to Him, are all means to cure hearts of arrogance, which is the evil that leads people to dispute His revelations and signs without any clear evidence.

Allah opens the door for us to address and pray to Him. He tells us that He has committed Himself to respond to those who pray to Him, warning those who are too proud that they will suffer total humiliation:

“Your Lord says: Call on Me, and I shall answer you. Those who are too proud to worship Me shall enter hell humiliated.” (Verse 60)

Supplication and prayer must observe certain manners.

  • Hearts must be totally dedicated to Allah,
  • Be sure that He will answer our prayer.
  • We must not suggest a particular form, time, or circumstance for answering it. To make such a suggestion is improper when appealing to Allah. We should be clear in our minds that it is a blessing that we address our prayers to Allah, and that His response is another blessing.

Those who are too proud to pray to Allah and appeal to Him deserve their just reward, which leads them to enter hell in total humiliation.

Such is the fitting end of the arrogance that fills some hearts in this small planet and short life, forgetting the greatness of Allah’s creation, let alone His own greatness. It is suitable requital for forgetting the Last Hour, which will inevitably come.

The verses 40:56-60 in different translations:

QARIB:

56- (As for) those who dispute the verses of Allah without authority having been given to them, there is nothing in their chests but pride; that, they shall never attain. therefore seek refuge in Allah, surely, he is the hearer, the seer.

57-Indeed, the creation of heavens and earth is greater than the creation of mankind, yet most people do not know.

58-The blind and the seeing are not equal, nor are those who believe and do good works, and the wrongdoer yet you seldom reflect.

59-There is no doubt that the hour is coming, yet most people do not believe.

60-Your Lord has said: ‘call on me and i will answer you. those who are too proud to worship me shall enter gehenna utterly abject. ‘

SHAKIR:

56-Surely (as for) those who dispute about the communications of Allah without any authority that has come to them, there is naught in their breasts but (a desire) to become great which they shall never attain to; therefore seek refuge in Allah, surely he is the hearing, the seeing

57-Certainly, the creation of the heavens and the earth is greater than the creation of the men, but most people do not know

58-And the blind and the seeing are not alike, nor those who believe and do good and the evil-doer; little is it that you are mindful

59-Most surely, the hour is coming, there is no doubt therein, but most people do not believe

60-And your Lord says: call upon me, i will answer you; surely those who are too proud for my service shall soon enter hell abased

PICKTHAL:

56-Lo! Those who wrangle concerning the revelations of Allah without a warrant having come unto them, there is naught else in their breasts save pride which they will never attain. So take thou refuge in Allah. lo! he, only he, is the hearer, the seer.

57-Assuredly, the creation of the heavens and the earth is greater than the creation of mankind; but most of mankind know not.

58-And the blind man and the seer are not equal, neither are those who believe and do good works (equal with) the evil-doer. little do ye reflect!

59-Lo! The hour is surely coming, there is no doubt thereof; yet most of mankind believe not.

60-And your Lord hath said: pray unto me and i will hear your prayer. lo! those who scorn my service, they will enter hell, disgraced.

YUSUFALI:

56-Those who dispute about the signs of Allah without any authority bestowed on them,- there is nothing in their breasts but (the quest of) greatness, which they shall never attain to: seek refuge, then, in Allah: it is he who hears and sees (all things).

57-Assuredly, the creation of the heavens and the earth is a greater (matter) than the creation of men: yet most men understand not.

58-Not equal are the blind and those who (clearly) see: nor are (equal) those who believe and work deeds of righteousness, and those who do evil. little do ye learn by admonition!

59-The hour will certainly come: therein is no doubt: yet most men believe not.

60-And your Lord says: “call on me; i will answer your (prayer): but those who are too arrogant to serve me will surely find themselves in hell – in humiliation!”

Atheists in Quran (11) have they read the History

The Quran asks the Atheists three questions, 1) Have not the stories of those who rejected Faith aforetime reached you? 2) Do not you realize that Allah is free of all needs? 3) You think that you will not be raised up for Judgment?

The Quran gives the answers to those who like to know.

———————————

The verses 64:5-7 ask the Atheists three questions

The first Question:

Have not the stories of those who rejected Faith aforetime reached you?

Have not the stories of

  • Noah and the flood that swept all the Atheists
  • Aad and Thamood
  • Abraham and Nimrod
  • Moses and Pharaoh
  • Etc.

Have not these stories reached you?

Have not you read the History?

Do you know what happened to the ancient Atheists?

They tasted the evil result of their conduct in the life of this world and they had a grievous Penalty.

That was because there came to them messengers with Clear Sign; However, they said:

“Shall (mere) human beings direct us?”

So, they rejected (the Message) and turned away.

They tasted the punishment for disbelief in the life of this world.

Moreover, the evil result of their conduct in the Afterlife is awaiting for them; its culminating force will be exhibited in the grievous Penalty of the Hereafter.

The second Question:

Do not the Atheists realize that Allah, the worthy of all praise, is free of all needs?

If all human beings are believers, this will not increase Allah’s kingdom by one inch.

If all human beings are unbelievers, this will not decrease Allah’s kingdom by one inch.

O Atheists, Your obedience is not necessary to Allah, nor will your rejection of Truth affect the validity of Truth or injure the progress of Truth.

Allah is free of all needs or dependence on any circumstance whatever.

He sends His Message for the good of mankind, and it is man who suffers by ignoring, rejecting, or opposing it.

The third Question:

O Atheists, You think that you will not be raised up for Judgment.

In other words, you think that there is no future

life, and no responsibility for your actions beyond what you see in the present life.

If that were true, all the profits of fraud and roguery, which remain unpunished in this

world-and many do remain unpunished in this world-will remain with the wicked; and all the losses and pain suffered by integrity and righteousness, if they find no compensation in this life, will never find any compensation.

This would be an odd result in a world of justice. Muslims are taught:

  • That this is not true,
  • That it is certain that the balance will be redressed in a better future world;
  • That there will be a resurrection of the dead; and

O Atheists, You think that you will not be raised up for Judgment.

Verily, by my Lord, you shall surely be raised up: then shall ye be told (the truth) of all that you did. And that is easy for Allah.”

———————————

Allah, the Almighty Creator, created all men,

Some are good and others are evil,

You wonder how the good do suffer and the evil succeed,

Remember the Final Goal, when true corrections will be made

The gainers here will be the Losers there,

The Losers here will be the Gainers there.

Good will get more than its full reward

For Allah is Bounteous, Merciful, Mighty, Wise.

———————————

The verses 64:5-7 in different translations:

QARIB:

5-Have you not heard the news of those before you who disbelieved? they tasted the mischief of their action, and for them is a painful punishment.

6-That is because, when their messengers came to them with clear proofs they said: ‘shall humans be our guides? ‘ they disbelieved and turned away, but Allah was not in need (of them). Allah is the rich and the praised.

7-The unbelievers think that they will never be raised up. say: ‘by my Lord, yes indeed, you shall assuredly be raised up! then you shall be told of all that you have done. that is easy for Allah. ‘

SHAKIR:

5-Has there not come to you the story of those who disbelieved before, then tasted the evil result of their conduct, and they had a painful punishment?

6-That is because there came to them their messengers with clear arguments, but they said: shall mortals guide us? so they disbelieved and turned back, and Allah does not stand in need (of anything), and Allah is self-sufficient, praised

7-Those who disbelieve think that they shall never be raised. say: aye! by my Lord! you shall most certainly be raised, then you shall most certainly be informed of what you did; and that is easy to Allah

PICKTHAL:

5-Hath not the story reached you of those who disbelieved of old and so did taste the ill-effects of their conduct, and theirs will be a painful doom.

6-That was because their messengers (from Allah) kept coming unto them with clear proofs (of Allah’s sovereignty), but they said: shall mere mortals guide us? so they disbelieved and turned away, and Allah was independent (of them). Allah is absolute, owner of praise.

7-Those who disbelieve assert that they will not be raised again. say (unto them, o muhammad): yea, verily, by my Lord! ye will be raised again and then ye will be informed of what ye did; and that is easy for Allah.

YUSUFALI:

5-Has not the story reached you, of those who rejected faith aforetime? so they tasted the evil result of their conduct; and they had a grievous penalty.

6-That was because there came to them messengers with clear signs, but they said: “shall (mere) human beings direct us?” so they rejected (the message) and turned away. but Allah can do without (them): and Allah is free of all needs, worthy of all praise.

7-The unbelievers think that they will not be raised up (for judgment). say: “yea, by my Lord, ye shall surely be raised up: then shall ye be told (the truth) of all that ye did. and that is easy for Allah.”

Atheists in Quran (4) they are heedless

The pride of the Atheists that is without any right makes them heedless.
————————————-
The meanings of the verse 7:146
Allah shall turn away from believing in His Words those who Proud and magnify themselves wrongfully without any right.
The pride that is without any right is the pride of the rich, the powerful and the world-rulers toward the poor and the weak. This is the meaning of Allah’s words, “who are proud in the earth without any right.”
Allah shall turn away from believing in His Words those who behave with superiority in the earth without right because acting superior makes their hearts veiled from the Truth.
Allah shall turn away from my signs those who behave arrogantly in the earth without right
Allah will deprive them of understanding the Quran, and following the Messenger Muhammad.
That, turning of them away is because they have denied Allah’ signs and were heedless of them.
If they see the way of righteousness, the way of Islam and goodness, they would not consider it a way, and
If they see the way of error, the way of disbelief, they would consider it a way.
If the Atheists see the way of error, adopt it as a way being active regarding His prohibitions, and passive regarding His commandments, and
They are falsely claiming to have the power and strength to do that which their Egos had a propensity for, and their conceit in that
Their natural selves direct them
Their too proud Egos direct them
To conclude, Allah shall turn away from believing in Quran those who are Proud without any right and are heedless.
The next article will present one scientific verse from the Noble Quran to show you how the pride of the Atheists makes them heedless.
————————————-
The verse 7:146 in different translations:
QARIB:
From my signs I will turn away the unrightfully, arrogant in the land, so that even if they witness every sign they would not believe it. If they see the path of righteousness, they shall not take it as a path; but if they see the path of error, they shall take it for their path because they belied our signs and were inattentive towards them.
SHAKIR:
I will turn away from my communications those who are unjustly proud in the earth; and if they see every sign they will not believe in it; and if they see the way of rectitude they do not take it for a way, and if they see the way of error. they take it for a way; this is because they rejected our communications and were heedless of them
PICKTHAL:
I shall turn away from my revelations those who magnify themselves wrongfully in the earth, and if they see each token believe it not, and if they see the way of righteousness choose it nor for (their) way, and if they see the way of error choose if for (their) way. that is because they deny our revelations and are used to disregard them.
YUSUFALI:
those who behave arrogantly on the earth in defiance of right – them will I turn away from my signs: even if they see all the signs, they will not believe in them; and if they see the way of right conduct, they will not adopt it as the way; but if they see the way of error, that is the way they will adopt. for they have rejected our signs, and failed to take warning from them.

The Shadow in the Quran:

The Quran talks about:

1) Two Historical Shadows

2) Scientific facts about the Shadow

3) The Shadow at the Day of Judgment

4) The Shadow for the believers and the unbelievers in the Afterlife

1) Two Historical Shadows

The Quran mentions two important Historical Shadows;

One of them is the Shadow for Moses and the Israelites and

The other is the Shadow for the deniers of the Prophet “Shu’aib” and their grievous day of punishment.

These two Historical Shadows are not mentioned in the Bible.

a-The Shadow for Moses and the Israelites

Surah 28:24

So he (Moses) watered (their flock) for them. Then he turned aside into the shade, and said: my Lord! i am needy of whatever good thou sendest down for me.

Surah 7:160

We divided them into twelve tribes, nations; and we inspired Moses, when his people asked him for water, saying: smite with thy staff the rock! And there gushed forth therefrom twelve springs, so that each tribe knew their drinking-place. And we caused the white cloud to overshadow them and sent down for them the manna and the quails (saying): eat of the good things wherewith we have provided you. They wronged us not, but they were wont to wrong themselves.

Surah 7:171

and when we shook the mountain over them as if it were a covering overhead, and they thought that it was going to fall down upon them: take hold of what we have given you with firmness, and be mindful of what is in it, so that you may guard (against evil)

Surah 2:57

And We gave you the shade of clouds and sent down to you Manna and quails, saying: “Eat of the good things We have provided for you:” (but they rebelled); to Us they did no harm, but they harmed their own selves.

b-The Shadow for the deniers of the Prophet “Shu’aib”

The Shadow furnished for people of the Prophet “Shu’aib” who denied him and their grievous day of punishment.

The Prophet “Shu’aib” is never mentioned in the Bible.

Is that because He was Arabic?

Surah 26:189

But they rejected and denied him (Shu’aib) and called him a liar (Shu’aib) then the punishment of the day of overshadowing gloom seized them, surely it was the punishment of a grievous day

2) Scientific facts about the Shadow:

Allah extends the shade; if He pleases, He would certainly have made it stationary and then have made the sun an indication of it.

Scientifically speaking, the shade will be stationary when the Earth stops its circular movement about itself. In such case, half of the Earth will be day and the other will be night.

So, the sun is the indicator for such event. Who could do that? It is Allah the Creator of the Sun.

Surah 25:45

Have you not considered (the work of) your Lord, how he extends the shade? And if he had pleased he would certainly have made it stationary; then we have made the sun an indication of it

All things that Allah has created have their shadows and prostrate unto Him.

Surah 16:48

Have they not observed all things that Allah hath created, how their shadows incline to the right and to the left, making prostration unto Allah, and they are lowly?

Surah 16:81

it is Allah who made out of the things he created, some things to give you shade; of the hills he made some for your shelter; he made you garments to protect you from heat, and coats of mail to protect you from your (mutual) violence. thus does he complete his favors on you, that ye may bow to his will (in Islam).

Surah 35:19-21

19 and the blind and the seeing are not alike

20 nor the darkness and the light,

21 nor is the shadow equal with the sun’s full heat;

3) The Shadow at the Day of Judgment

At that horrible day, everything is already judged in justice.

Man is one of two, believer or unbeliever; each one has his own Shadow.

The Coming of Allah:

Surah 2:210

Wait they for naught else than that Allah should come unto them in the shadows of the clouds with the angels? Then the case would be already judged. All cases go back to Allah (for judgment).

4) The Shadow for the believers and the unbelievers in the Afterlife

The Shadow for those who believe; this meaning is not mentioned in the Bible.

Surah 4:57

And as for those who believe and do good works, we shall make them enter gardens underneath which rivers flow – to dwell therein forever; there for them are pure companions – and we shall make them enter plenteous shadow.

Surah 36:56

They and their associates will be in a pleasant shadow, reclining on thrones (of dignity);

Surah 76:14

And the shades of the (garden) will come low over them, and the bunches (of fruit), there, will hang low in humility (being easy to reach).

Surah 56:30

In shade long-extended,

Surah 77:41

As to the righteous, they shall be amidst (cool) shades and springs (of water).

The Shadow for those who do not believe;

This implication is not cited in the Bible

Surah 56:43

And the shade of black smoke

Surah 77: 28-31

28 ah woe, that day, to the rejecters of truth!

29 (it will be said 🙂 “Depart ye to that which ye used to reject as false!

30 “depart ye to a shadow (of smoke ascending) in three branches,

31 “(which yields) no shade of coolness, and is of no use against the fierce blaze.

32 indeed it throws about sparks (huge) as palaces,

Surah 56:43

And the shade of black smoke

The following verse summarizes the Shadow for the believers and the unbelievers.

Surah 13:35

a likeness of the garden which the righteous are promised; there now beneath it rivers, its food and shades are perpetual; this is the requital of those who guarded (against evil), and the requital of the unbelievers is the fire.

It is very important to declare that anyone believes that the Lord God, the Almighty Creator, has a shadow, hand and/or wings then he surely is unbeliever, he will dwell in the Eternal Hell in the Afterlife forever, and he made Paradise forbidden for him.

Back to the main issue of my series of articles (1-38); this is my question to you smart readers: “Is the Quran quoted from the Bible “?

Our Mother Eve in Bible vs. Quran; her lost rights

In the Bible: Eve was the responsible one for the first human sin.

In the Quran: Both Adam and Eve were responsible for the first human sin.

————————–

Women are your mother, your wife, your sister, your daughter, your neighbor, your colleague etc.

Islam gives all of them their proper rights.

This article is an attempt to honor our mother Eve and give her their lost rights.

————————–

Eve in the Bible:

The fall of Eve is the most significant of all the falls of human being. As a result of Eve’s fall, all mankind was affected. The Bible describes Eve’s fall in six successive steps

“1: Now the serpent was more subtil than any beast of the field which the LORD God had made. And he said unto the woman, Yea, hath God said, Ye shall not eat of every tree of the garden?

2: And the woman said unto the serpent, We may eat of the fruit of the trees of the garden:

3: But of the fruit of the tree which is in the midst of the garden, God hath said, Ye shall not eat of it, neither shall ye touch it, lest ye die.

4: And the serpent said unto the woman, Ye shall not surely die:

5: For God doth know that in the day ye eat thereof, then your eyes shall be opened, and ye shall be as gods, knowing good and evil.

6: And when the woman saw that the tree was good for food, and that it was pleasant to the eyes, and a tree to be desired to make one wise, she took of the fruit thereof, and did eat, and gave also unto her husband with her; and he did eat” (Gen. 3).

It follows that Eve Listened, looked, desired, sinned and failed to accept the responsibility for her sin.

Eve Listened. It is evident from the text that Eve listened to what the devil told her. Before there is a fall, there is first attention and listening to the appeal of the devil.

Eve looked. The Bible says “And when the woman saw that the tree was good for food, and that it was pleasant to the eye (Gen. 3: 6). It follows that, Eve looked and was soon hooked.

Eve desired. Eve’s response to the smooth words of the devil was, “And when the woman saw that the tree was good for food, and that it was pleasant to the eyes, and a tree to be desired to make one wise (Gen. 3: 6), i.e. the devil had awakened her desire.

Eve sinned. She took of the fruit thereof, and did eat (Gen. 3: 6). Not only did Eve sin, but she was not satisfied until she had persuaded Adam to also sin and he did eat” (Gen. 3: 6).

Eve was deceived, but Adam was not. Eve was not remorseful and never asked God to forgive her and she looked typically like an impenitent sinners, she blamed another for her sin. “And the woman said, the serpent beguiled me, and I did eat” (Gen. 3: 13).

Eve did not submit to God and she also failed to resist the devil. Eve failed to accept the responsibility for her sin. Eve did not submit to God and she also failed to resist the devil. Eve never asked her God to forgive her.

These are the Biblical teachings.

————————–

Eve in the Quran:

In the Quran it is clear that both Adam and Eve sinned, and both together were responsible for the first sin.

“Then did Satan make them slip from the (Garden), and get them out of the state (of felicity) in which they had been. We said: “Get ye down, all (ye people), with enmity between yourselves. On earth will be your dwelling place and your means of livelihood for a time.” Surah 2:36

It means that Satan deceived both Adam and Eve.

It is not logic to accept that Adam and Eve never submitted to God and they never asked Him to forgive both of them.

The Quran says that they did and Allah forgave both of them and gave them and also gave us also a golden advice to live in success in this life and in the afterlife

The verses 7:23-26 of the Quran say:

[23] They said: “Our Lord! we have wronged our own souls: if Thou forgive us not and bestow not upon us Thy Mercy, we shall certainly be lost.”

[24] (Allah) said: “Get ye down, with enmity between yourselves. On earth will be your dwelling-place and your means of livelihood for a time.”

[25] He said: “Therein shall ye live, and therein shall ye die; but from it shall ye be taken out (at last).”

[26] O ye Children of Adam! We have bestowed raiment upon you to cover your shame, as well as to be an adornment to you. But the raiment of righteousness, that is the best. Such are among the Signs of Allah, that they may receive admonition!

To conclude, according to the Bible Eve was the responsible for the first sin while the Quran says that both Adam and Eve were responsible. A The Bible says that Eve and also Adam never submitted to God and never asked God to forgive them for their sin, while the Quran says that they did and God forgave them and gave them and us the rule for success and happiness in this life and in the afterlife.

This is Allah (35) Does Allah Charge Any Soul Beyond its Scope?

The Outcome of those who Believe in Muhammad and Perform Righteous Deeds

The Believers shall Abide in the Paradise Forever Never to Die or be Removed

Who are the Rightful owners of the Paradise?

What if the Believers who Abide in the Paradise have had Rancor between them in the Life of this World?

What the Believers will say once they Have Settled in the Paradise?

——————————————————————

Many people do not know Allah. This series is an attempt to help them in order to know and acknowledge their Creator.

Verses 7:42-43 of the Noble Quran talk about:

1) Does Allah Charge any Soul Beyond its Scope?

2) The Outcome of those who Believe in Muhammad and Perform Righteous Deeds,

3) The Believers shall Abide in the Paradise Forever Never to Die or be Removed,

4) Who are the Rightful owners of the Paradise?

5) What if the Believers who Abide in the Paradise have had Rancor between them in the life of this world? And

6) What the Believers will say once they Have Settled in the Paradise?

In the previous article, the outcome of the disbelievers shall be the Eternal Fire,  Theirs will be a bed of hell, a bed of fire, and over them coverings of hell, of fire. Thus does Allah requite wrong-doers, the evildoers.  Now the question is: Have the disbelievers disbelieved because Allah has charged their soul beyond its scope its capacity for action?  The following verse answers this question:

The meaning of verse 7:42

Concerning the faith and deeds; Allah does not charge any soul beyond its scope, its capacity for action, Allah does not tax any soul in its effort beyond its capability; Allah never charge a soul with more than it can bear; in other words, Allah does not burden or place on any soul, but that which it can bear.

And for those who believe in Muhammad, and the Quran and perform righteous deeds and do good works

those are the inhabitants of Paradise, abiding therein

They, i.e. the believers, are rightful owners of the Garden, the folk of Paradise. They abide therein forever never to die or be removed.

The meaning of verse 7:43

What if the believers who shall abide in the Paradise have had between them, in the life of this world, rancor, resentment, bitterness etc.?

Allah shall strip away all rancor, resentment, bitterness etc. Allah shall strip away all spite that existed between them in the world, that is in their breasts;

and wherein they shall abide in the Paradise, beneath their palaces, the rivers flow;

and they will say, once they have settled in their dwellings: ‘Praise be to Allah, Who guided us to this, action, the reward of which is this Paradise; for we would surely never have been guided if Allah had not guided us.

Verily the messengers of our Lord did bring the truth.’

And it is cried to them: ‘This is your Paradise; you have inherited it for what you used to do’.

It is also said that the verse means that Allah will remove whatever rancor, resentful envy or enmity may be in their hearts in the life of this world. Rivers of wine, water, honey and milk flow beneath them beneath their habitations and beds in the Hereafter. And they say when they reach their habitations; and it is said: when they reach the source of life: The praise to Allah gratitude and benevolence are Allah’s, Who has guided us to this habitation and source. We could not truly have been led aright if Allah had not guided us to it;

it is also said that when they see Allah’s favor when He bestowed faith upon them, they said: praise and thanks are due to Allah Who has guided us to the religion of Islam, and we would not have been guided to the religion of Islam had not Allah guided us to it.

Then they will say: ‘Verily the messengers of our Lord did bring the Truth, they brought truth, glad tiding, reward and favor.

And it is cried unto them (the Angels will say unto them): This is the Garden, This is the Paradise. You inherit it, you were given it for what you used to do and say of good things in the life of this world.

It would be fruitful to compare between the believers and the disbelievers as regards their circumstances and outcome.

What each of the two party shall say in the afterlife?

What each of the two party shall have in the afterlife?

What Allah shall say unto each of the two party?

What the Angels shall say unto each of the two party?

The interested reader could find out the answer of these question when comparing the present article with the articles 33 through 37.

Verses 7:42-43in different English translations of the meanings of Arabic Quran:

QARIB:

42) As for those who believe and do good works we never charge a soul with more than it can bear they are the companions of paradise, and there they shall live for ever.

43) We shall strip away all rancor from their chests. rivers shall flow underneath them, and they shall say: ‘praise be to Allah who has guided us to this. had Allah not given us guidance we should not have been guided. the messengers of our lord surely came with the truth. ‘ then they are called: ‘this is the paradise which you have inherited for what you did. ‘

SHAKIR:

42) And (as for) those who believe and do good we do not impose on any soul a duty except to the extent of its ability– they are the dwellers of the garden; in it they shall abide

43) And we will remove whatever of ill-feeling is in their breasts; the rivers shall flow beneath them and they shall say: all praise is due to Allah who guided us to this, and we would not have found the way had it not been that Allah had guided us; certainly the messengers of our lord brought the truth; and it shall be cried out to them that this is the garden of which you are made heirs for what you did

PICKTHAL:

42) But (as for) those who believe and do good works – we tax not any soul beyond its scope – such are rightful owners of the garden. they abide therein.

43) And we remove whatever rancour may be in their hearts. rivers flow beneath them. and they say: the praise to Allah, who hath guided us to this. we could not truly have been led aright if Allah had not guided us. verily the messengers of our lord did bring the truth. and it is cried unto them: this is the garden. ye inherit it for what ye used to do.

YUSUFALI:

42) But those who believe and work righteousness,- no burden do we place on any soul, but that which it can bear,- they will be companions of the garden, therein to dwell (forever).

43) And we shall remove from their hearts any lurking sense of injury;- beneath them will be rivers flowing;- and they shall say: “praise be to Allah, who hath guided us to this (felicity): never could we have found guidance, had it not been for the guidance of Allah: indeed it was the truth, that the messengers of our lord brought unto us.” and they shall hear the cry: “behold! the garden before you! ye have been made its inheritors, for your deeds (of righteousness).”

Chapter 6 of the Quran (114) Sun Rises from West?

There are many minor and major portents that predict the coming of the Hour. The most important are the major portents; if one of these major portents (e.g. the sun rise from the West) appears then men are done. No faith, works or repentance will be accepted from an unbeliever upon seeing the sun rise from the West!

——————————————————————————————————

The unbelievers and the Atheists deny the Resurrection after Death.

The unbelievers and the Atheists deny the Day of Judgment and meeting with Allah to requite them.

The unbelievers and the Atheists challenged the Prophet Muhammad to bring the Day of Judgment saying that they are waiting for it

Ayah 6:158 explains for them what they are waiting for; it says:

Indeed, they are waiting for nothing less than that the Angels should come unto them to take their souls away at the moment of death, or

There should come one of the portents from your Lord, one of the Hour’s portents.

It is well-known that there are many portents that predict the coming of the Hour.

These portents are of two categories, minor portents and major portents.

All of the minor portents happened nowadays.

However, the most important are the major portents; if one of these major portents appears then men are done, no repencentace will be accepted after the emergence of anyone of these major portents.

One of these major is the rising of the sun from the West!

No faith, works or repentance will be accepted from an unbeliever upon seeing the sun rise from the West!

In short,

Are the unbelievers waiting for the Angel of Death? Or

Are they waiting for the emergence of one of the Hour major portents? Or

Are they waiting for meeting Allah on the Day of Judgment?

Say to them O Muhammad:

Wait and I am waiting too for your outcome!

—————————————————————-

The verse 6:158 in different translations

QARIB:

Were they waiting for the angels or your lord to come to them, or for some of the signs of your lord? On the day when some of the signs of your lord come, no soul will be benefited by its belief had it not believed before or earned good in its belief. Say: ‘wait, we were waiting.’

SHAKIR:

They do not wait aught but that the angels should come to them, or that your lord should come, or that some of the signs of your lord should come. On the day when some of the signs of your lord shall come, its faith shall not profit a soul which did not believe before, or earn good through its faith. say: wait; we too were waiting

PICKTHAL:

Wait they, indeed, for nothing less than that the angels should come unto them, or thy lord should come, or there should come one of the portents from thy lord? in the day when one of the portents from thy lord cometh, its belief availeth naught a soul which theretofore believed not, nor in its belief earned good (by works). say: wait ye! Lo! We (too) were waiting.

YUSUFALI:

Were they waiting to see if the angels come to them, or thy lord (himself), or certain of the signs of thy lord! The day that certain of the signs of thy lord do come, no good will it do to a soul to believe in them then if it believed not before nor earned righteousness through its faith. Say: “wait ye: we too were waiting.”

Allah loves (11) the generous

The English Translation of the Arabic word “Moh-se-neen”

The Law of the wines (intoxicants) in the Quran

The Faith and the Two Degrees of “Ihsan”

————————————————————-

In the previous articles, we have seen that Allah loves

(1) the kind good doers,

(2) those who turn to him and those who are Clean and Pure,

(3) those who guard against evil,

(4) those who put their Trust in Him,

5) those who are firm and steadfast,

6) the virtuous,

7) the charitable,

8) judge in equity,

9) those who are just and are not biased and

10) the good doers who keep their Covenant.

In this article, Allah loves those who are generous (Moh-se-neen)

————————————————————-

Verse 5:93 says that Allah loves the generous which do deeds of righteousness, guard themselves from evil and believe in Allah, Prophet Muhammad and follow the Quran.

This verse was revealed before the wines (intoxicants) were made unlawful.

Their wine was made from unripe dates, split unripe dates and dates

Some of the believers died before the law of forbidden the alcoholics.

Then Allah revealed about a group of men from the Emigrants and the Helpers who asked the Prophet Muhammad:

“What shall happen to those of us who died drinking intoxicant drinks before they were made unlawful”,

The verse gave the answer:

There shall be no sin imputed unto those who believe in Allah, Muhammad and the Quran and do good works

That is between them and their Lord

For what they may have eaten in the past

For what they have drunk in the past before intoxicants were made unlawful, whether those who did it are dead or still living.

So be mindful of your duty to Allah, if they warded off disbelief, idolatry and indecencies, and do good works

That is between them and their Lord; and again:

Be mindful of your duty ward off making intoxicants lawful after they were made unlawful;

This address is to the believers who are still living, and believe in the unlawfulness of intoxicant; and once again:

Be mindful of your duty ward off drinking it, and do right leave the drinking of it. Allah loves the good for avoiding drinking intoxicants; this relates to those who were still alive and who drunk intoxicants before they were made unlawful.

Allah loves the generous which do deeds of righteousness, guard themselves from evil and believe in Allah, Prophet Muhammad and follow the Quran.

Allah loves the generous, means that He will reward them.

Herein, the word translated as generous, good or good doer is “Moh-se-neen” in Arabic.

The noun of the word “Moh-se-neen” is “Ihsan”.

One asked the Prophet Muhammad: “what is Ihsan

Muhammad said: to worship Allah as if you see him, if you can not, then worship Allah you see you all the time”!

Hence, “Ihsan” has to degree:

The first degree is that you act as if you see your LORD who creates you.

This is the first class of faith. If your faith could not attain the first degree, then,

The second degree is that you act and know that your LORD who Creates you Sees you all the time.

See in your mind’s eye what if mankind act while they know that their Creator Sees and Hears them all the time!

On the other hand, this deep connotations of the Arabic word “Moh-se-neen”  and “Ihsan” illustrate how poor are their English translations!

————————————————————-

Verse 5:93 in different translations:

QARIB:

no blame shall be attached to those who believe and did good works in regard to any food they have eaten, so long as they ward off (the forbidden) and believe, and do good deeds, then they fear and believe, and again, so long as they fear and do fine deeds. Allah loves the generous.

SHAKIR:

on those who believe and do good there is no blame for what they eat, when they are careful (of their duty) and believe and do good deeds, then they are careful (of their duty) and believe, then they are careful (of their duty) and do good (to others), and Allah loves those who do good (to others)

PICKTHAL:

There shall be no sin (imputed) unto those who believe and do good works for what they may have eaten (in the past). So be mindful of your duty (to Allah), and believe, and do good works; and again: be mindful of your duty, and believe; and once again: be mindful of your duty, and do right. Allah loveth the good.

YUSUFALI:

On those who believe and do deeds of righteousness there is no blame for what they ate (in the past), when they guard themselves from evil, and believe, and do deeds of righteousness,- (or) again, guard themselves from evil and believe,- (or) again, guard themselves from evil and do good. For Allah loveth those who do good.

This is Allah (29) Allah Has sent down on you a garment, and the best is the garment of righteous deeds

Satan is the friend of those who do not believe

Satan and his tribe see you from whence you do not see them

Satan and his tribe have their home inside your chests

Satan loves your nakedness to manifest your shameful parts

The Linguistic meanings of the Arabic words Shaitan and Iblis

————————————————————-

Many people do not know Allah. This series is an attempt to help them in order to know and acknowledge their Creator.

Verses 7:26-27 of the Noble Quran talk about:

1) Allah Has sent down on you a garment, and the best is the garment of righteous deeds,

2) Satan is the friend of those who do not believe,

3) Satan and his tribe see you from whence you do not see them,

4) Satan and his tribe have their home in your breasts and

5) Satan loves your nakedness to manifest to your shameful parts

The meaning of verse 7:26

O Children of Adam! We have sent down on you a garment, that is, We have created it for you, to conceal, to cover up, your shameful parts, and feathers, meaning all that one adorns oneself with of garments, and the garment of Allah-fearing, righteous deeds and virtuous traits, ‘the garment of Allah-fearing’ that is best; that is one of Allah’s signs, the proofs of His power; perhaps they will remember, and believe (the address shifts to mankind).

In other words, Allah gives advice mankind and says:

(O Children of Adam! We have revealed unto you) We have created and given you (raiment) clothes of cotton, wool and fur (to conceal your shame) your nakedness, (and splendid vesture) properties and stuff, that is the furniture of the house, (but the raiment of restraint from evil) the raiment of profession of Allah’s divine Oneness and of abstinence, (that is best) better than the raiment of cotton. (This) the raiment of cotton (is of the revelations of Allah) of the marvels of Allah, (that they may remember) take admonition.

The meaning of verse 7:27

Then, Allah takes you back to remember what happened to your father and mother, Adam and Eve; He says:

O Children of Adam! Let not Satan tempt you, lead you astray, that is, do not follow him, lest you fall into temptation, as he caused your parents to go forth from the Garden, by tempting them, stripping them of their garments to manifest to them their shameful parts. Surely he, Satan, sees you, he and his tribe, his army, from where you do not see them, because of their ethereal bodies or their being colorless and invisible. We have made the devils friends, helpers and companions, of those who do not believe.

This verse shows that Satan loves the nakedness of mankind to manifest to your shameful parts; this is an easy way to sin and to commit adultery.

In other words, Allah gives advice mankind and says:

O Children of Adam! Let not Satan, Iblis, (seduce you) make you slip with regard to obeying Me (as he caused your (first) parents) Adam and Eve (to go forth from the Garden and tore off) took away (from them their robe) the robe of light (that he might manifest their shame to them. Lo! he) Iblis (sees you, he and his tribe) his soldiers, (from whence ye see him not) because your breasts are their dwellings. (Lo! We have made the devils protecting friends) helpers (for those who believe not) in Muhammad and in the Quran.

Verses 7:26-27in different English translations of the meanings of Arabic Quran:

QARIB:

26) Children of Adam! we have sent down to you clothing that covers your nakedness, and feathers. but the clothing of piety that is better. that is one of the signs of Allah, in order that they remember.

27) Children of Adam! do not let Satan tempt you, as he brought your parents out of paradise. he stripped them of their garments to show them their shameful parts. indeed he and his descendants see you from where you cannot see them. we have made the satans supporters of those who do not believe.

SHAKIR:

26) O children of Adam! we have indeed sent down to you clothing to cover your shame, and (clothing) for beauty and clothing that guards (against evil), that is the best. this is of the communications of Allah that they may be mindful

27) O children of Adam! let not the shaitan cause you to fall into affliction as he expelled your parents from the garden, pulling off from them both their clothing that he might show them their evil inclinations, he surely sees you, he as well as his host, from whence you cannot see them; surely we have made the shaitans to be the guardians of those who do not believe

PICKTHAL:

26) O children of Adam! we have revealed unto you raiment to conceal your shame, and splendid vesture, but the raiment of restraint from evil, that is best. this is of the revelations of Allah, that they may remember.

27) O children of Adam! let not Satan seduce you as he caused your (first) parents to go forth from the garden and tore off from them their robe (of innocence) that he might manifest their shame to them. lo! he seeth you, he and his tribe, from whence ye see him not. lo! we have made the devils protecting friends for those who believe not.

YUSUFALI:

26) O ye children of Adam! we have bestowed raiment upon you to cover your shame, as well as to be an adornment to you. but the raiment of righteousness,- that is the best. such are among the signs of Allah, that they may receive admonition!

27) O ye children of Adam! let not Satan seduce you, in the same manner as he got your parents out of the garden, stripping them of their raiment, to expose their shame: for he and his tribe watch you from a position where ye cannot see them: we made the evil ones friends (only) to those without faith.
