Death in Quran (1) Death = Creature

The Quran is the first book on the face of the earth, which says that Death is but a creature. However, why has Allah created death?

—————————————

Interestingly, the verses 67:1-2 which say Death is created begin with “Blessed is Allah”

Blessed is Allah the exalted and transcendent above the attributes of created beings.

What do we mean when we bless the name of Allah?

We mean that we recognize and proclaim His beneficence to us.

In Allah’s hand and at His disposal, is

  • All Sovereignty,
  • All grace
  • All Authority and
  • All Power to bestow might and abasement, and
  • All Power over the stores of all things

Allah has power over all things.

He is too holy to have children or partners

He is Able to do all that He wills

Allah is Lord of both visible and invisible worlds.

Allah Created Death and Life.

One of the results of Allah’s complete dominion of the universe and absolute power over all things is that He created death and life.

Herein, the Quran puts Death before Life,

Death is therefore not merely a negative state.

Death, then, is

  • The state before life began, which may be nonexistence or existence in some other form:
  • The state in which Life as we know it ceases, but existence does not cease
  • The state of Barrier or Partition, after our visible Death and before Judgment; after that will be the new Life, which we conceive of under the term Eternity.

Why has Allah created death?

Allah created death and life that He may

  • Try you between life and death,
  • Test you in this life,

To see which of you is

  • Best in conduct,
  • Most obedient to Him
  • More sincere in works

Thus, man should always be on the alert, considering every thought and every action.

When a person’s heart is alert, aware that this life is a test, and tries to keep on the right track, he is reassured of God’s forgiveness and grace. This gives man all the rest and comfort he needs.

Allah is

  • the Mighty in retribution against those who disbelieve in Him
  • The Mighty in His vengeance against those who disobey Him,
  • The Forgiving to those who repent to Him;
  • He forgives those who repent and believe in Him.

He is the Mighty in retribution against those who disbelieve in Him, (Forgiving) He forgives those who repent and believe in Him,

Creation, therefore, is not in mere game, or without a purpose with reference to man. The state before our present life, or the state after, we can scarcely understand. But our present Life is clearly given to enable us to strive by good deeds to reach a nobler state.

Allah is so Exalted in Might that He can perfectly carry out His Will and Purpose, and that Purpose is Love, Mercy, and Goodness to His creatures.

The truth Islam establishes in people’s hearts does not depict God as chasing humans to afflict or punish them.

Allah wants them to be aware of the purpose behind their existence and of their true nature. Allah wants them to rise to the level worthy of His honor when He blew of His own spirit into them, elevating them above many of His other creations.

When the believers have absorbed this truth and hold to it, they will find that His grace, mercy and forgiveness are always available to them.

The verses 67:1-2 in different translations:

QARIB:

1-Blessed be he in whose hand is the kingdom, he is powerful over all things,

2-Who created death and life that he might examine which of you is best in deeds, and he is the almighty, the forgiving,

1-Blessed is he in whose hand is the sovereignty, and, he is able to do all things.

2-Who hath created life and death that he may try you which of you is best in conduct; and he is the mighty, the forgiving,

YUSUFALI:

1-Blessed be he in whose hands is dominion; and he over all things hath power;-

2-He who created death and life, that he may try which of you is best in deed: and he is the exalted in might, oft-forgiving;-

Atheists in Quran (41) come here if you are honest

In the previous two articles, Allah challenges the entire Humankind to produce a Quran like the one revealed and when they have failed Allah challenged them to produce ten Surah similar to the Quran.  When the entire Humankind have failed, Allah is challenging them in this article to produce only ONE Surah similar to the Quran.

However, this intellectual Linguistic challenge has never ever met.

The smart reader may acknowledge such a scientifically gradually decreasingorder of this unique Challenge

———————————

In the previous article (Atheists in Quran -39- a Linguistic Challenge for them), Allah challenges the entire Humankind to produce a Quran like the one revealed and when they have failed Allah challenged them to produce ten Surah similar to the Quran (See the article Atheists in Quran -40- the Challenge they could not cope with).  When the entire Humankind have failed to produce ten Surah similar to the Quran, Allah is challenging them, in this article, to produce only ONE Surah similar to the Quran

However, this intellectual Linguistic challenge has never ever met.

The smart reader may acknowledge such a scientifically gradually decreasing order of this unique Challenge.

In the verses 10:37-38 we have Allah’s testimony that

  • Muhammad has not forged the Quran
  • The Quran is Allah’s message to humankind

However, the prideful Atheists and unbelievers claim that the Quran is an invented book.

Well, are they sure? Are they trustful?

Allah put for them a simple method to prove that they are trustful and honest in their claim.

What is this simple method?

Produce, then, one Surah like it.

However, what if they cannot?

Can they seek help of friends and resources?

Yes, they can seek the help and resources of the entire Humankind.

Cannot they beat this very simple challenge?

It is impossible to achieve this target; they and the entire Humankind cannot produce one Surah.

Then what? Then before they claim that Muhammad has invented the Quran they have to show us one Surah like it or

Or what?

Or, they are untruthful and dishonest

The verses 10:37-38 say:

“This Quran could not have been devised by anyone other than Allah. It is a confirmation of [revelations] that went before it, and a full explanation of Allah’s Book, about which there is no doubt. It certainly comes from the Lord of the entire worlds. If they say: He (Muhammad) has invented it,’ say: ‘Produce, then, one Surah like it, and call for help on all you can other than Allah, if what you say is true.’

“This Quran could not have been devised by anyone other than Allah.” Why? Because the Quran has many features like for example:

  • Such unique characteristics of topic and expression; such perfection of order and harmony;
  • Such completeness of the faith it preaches and the enigma for human life it lays down;
  • Such a thorough concept of the nature of 1) Godhead, 2) the life of this world (and the Afterlife), 3) human beings, 4) the universe, 5) etc. Such a thorough concept of the nature of all of that could never have been designed by anyone other than Allah.

Only Allah is able to combine all this, because He is the One who knows:

  • The beginnings of all things
  • The ends of all things
  • The apparent and the hidden.

No one else can devise a system that is perfect, free of shortcomings and based on perfect knowledge.

In addition, the Quran confirms all the revelations and Scriptures given to earlier messengers. It confirms the original faith outlined by those messages and the good things they advocated. It is the same Book, outlining the same message preached by all messengers; that is = there is no god save Allah

It is the Book about which there is no doubt.

It certainly comes from the Lord of the entire worlds..

This is an assertion that the Quran could never have been fabricated or attributed falsely to Allah.

It is indeed a revelation by ‘the Lord of all the worlds.’

Having stated the truth about the Quran, the verses speaks of a certain possibility

The possibility that Muhammad has invented the Quran

If they say that Muhammad has invented the Quran, let them then mobilize their resources and invent a single Surah like it, if they can.

“Say: ‘Produce, then, one Surah like it, and call for help on all you can besides Allah, if what you say is true.’“

Herein, we have two PERMANENT issues:

  • First, the challenge, and
  • Second, their inability to cope with it

The challenge is permanent, as is their inability to meet it. It continues for the rest of time and no one will ever be able to meet it. Anyone who appreciates the strength, beauty and artistic expression of the Arabic language will recognize that the Quranic style is unique, and that no human being could produce anything similar to it. So will those who study human social systems and legal principles. If they study the system laid down in the Quran, they will realize that its approach to the organization of the human community is unique.

It is not merely the incomparability of the Quranic style and mode of expression; instead the absolutely miraculous nature of the Quran is easily recognized by experts in diverse disciplines such as language, society, law, psychology, sciences, embryology, Medicine, etc.

No wonder then that many Rabbi and Priests and the top scientists have embraced Islam just upon reading few verses of the Quran.

———————————

The verses 10:37-38 in different translations:

QARIB:

37-This Koran could not have been forged by other than Allah. it confirms what was before it; a distinguishing book, in which there is no doubt, from the Lord of all the worlds.

38-Do they say: ‘he has forged it’. say: ‘compose one chapter like it, and call upon whom you will, other than Allah (to help you), if what you say is true! ‘

SHAKIR:

37-And this Quran is not such as could be forged by those besides Allah, but it is a verification of that which is before it and a clear explanation of the book, there is no doubt in it, from the Lord of the worlds

38-Or do they say: he has forged it? say: then bring a chapter like this and invite whom you can besides Allah, if you are truthful

PICKTHAL:

37-And this Qur’an is not such as could ever be invented in despite of Allah; but it is a confirmation of that which was before it and an exposition of that which is decreed for mankind – therein is no doubt – from the Lord of the worlds.

38-Or say they: he hath invented it? say: then bring a Surah like unto it, and call (for help) on all ye can besides Allah, if ye are truthful.

YUSUFALI:

37-This Qur’an is not such as can be produced by other than Allah; on the contrary it is a confirmation of (revelations) that went before it, and a fuller explanation of the book – wherein there is no doubt – from the Lord of the worlds.

38-Or do they say, “he forged it”? say: “bring then a sura like unto it, and call (to your aid) anyone you can besides Allah, if it be ye speak the truth!”

Atheists in Quran (34) Muhammad and their Evil Eyes

The Atheists Arabs hired some famous Enviers who had very harmful evil eyes.to hurt Muhammad but they… Then they claimed that Muhammad is mad and possessed because of reciting the Quran.

Allah’s swear that Muhammad is neither mad nor possessed because of reciting the Quran.

Which one you go with? Allah’s swear or the Atheists Arabs’ claim?

Then again, why you every human being is involved in this issue?

———————————

The Arabic name of Chapter (Surah) 68 of the Noble Quran is “AL-QALAM”

AL-QALAM = THE PEN

In the first verse of the Surah, Allah swears by the Pen.

Allah swears by what they wrote, write and shall write by the pen to deny Muhammad.

About what has Allah sworn by the Pen?

The verses 68:2-4 tell us that:

Allah swears by the Pen that Muhammad:

  • Is neither mad nor possessed (because of reciting the Quran)
  • Is of great morality, tremendous nature and has the best standard of human characters
  • Shall have a reward that is never to be cut off

This Allah’s swear is a great testimony in favor of the last Prophet Muhammad.

This Allah’s swear = the witness of the Almighty Creator who creates the unlimited universe.

This is the witness of the Almighty Creator

Now, let us see the witness of some of Allah’s creatures about Muhammad and the Quran.

Let us go back in the History for 1400 years ago (The verses 68:51-52)

We are now in the Holy Mosque, Al-Kaaba, in Makkah

See Al-Kaaba today and yesterday in these videos

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iFSzGQLEd8U

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-1YQbMDLG6g

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zIfAFKeCDMo

We see the ignorant Atheists, unbelievers and idolaters among the Arabs.

They could not resist the great effects that essentially happen upon hearing the Quran.

They know that Muslims have embraced Islam and believed in Muhammad just upon hearing the recited Quran

The notables Atheists and the unbelievers’ leaders put a nasty plan.

They hired some famous Enviers in order to envy the Prophet Muhammad by their very harmful evil eyes.

They hired the Enviers to hurt Muhammad.

They gave them a lot of money to accomplish such a nasty mission.

What was the qualifications of the hired Enviers?

Upon they concentrated looking at something for a while:

  • One of the hired Enviers claimed that he can split a big solid rock into two halves
  • Another Envier claimed that Muhammad will slip and fall on the ground and his bones will be broken into pieces
  • A third Envier claimed that Muhammad will be sick and he will never get out of bed until he died
  • Etc.

Well, their target was to smite and strike Muhammad down with their glances.

On the other hand, the Prophet Muhammad used to recite the Quran in the Holy Mosque, Al-Kaaba, in Makkah in an attempt to spread Allah’s message unto the visitors of Al-Kaaba.

The Enviers kept looking at the Prophet Muhammad by their very harmful evil eyes for many hours.

Nothing happened to the Prophet Muhammad.

Allah protected his messenger from the Evil eyes of the Enviers

The notables and leaders’ plan failed!

Then what?

Many of the Arabs used to come every day from all over the Arabia to visit Al-Kaaba.

They certainly will hear the Prophet Muhammad reciting the Quran.

The notables and leaders were afraid of the great effects that essentially happen upon hearing the Quran by the visitors of Al-Kaaba

Then what they have to say about the Prophet Muhammad

They agreed to say to the visitors of Al-Kaaba that Muhammad is but a mad and possessed man

This is not a historical story for entertainment

This story is for you and for every human being all over the world

You have two witnesses:

Allah’s witness = Muhammad is neither mad nor possessed because of reciting the Quran.

Atheists Arabs’ witness = Muhammad mad and possessed because of reciting the Quran.

Which one you go with?

Then again, why you and every human being is involved in this story?

Because:

The Quran = Allah’s message to the entire world.

Allah is warning everyone: if someone hears about the existence of Muhammad and the Quran and he disbelieves in them, then he/she will dwell in the Eternal Hell in the Afterlife

It is interesting that Allah gives herein two names for the Quran:

A Reminder for all the worlds

Allah’s Favor to humankind

Then again, is it a moral way or a scientific conduct to judge about the Quran without reading it?

In fact, about 99% of the Quran deniers have no idea about the Quran and the other 1% of the Quran deniers know for sure that it is the Absolute Truth but they hide that in order not to lose their wealth and their power.

Nevertheless, some of that 1% could not resist anymore and they embraced Islam and announced their new faith.

To realize that, Google search how many Jews, Catholic Priests and orientalists embraced Islam?

———————————

The verses 68:1-4 in different translations:

QARIB:

1-4) Noon. By the pen and that (the angels) write, you are not, because of the favor of your Lord, mad. Indeed, there is an unfailing wage for you. Surely, you (Prophet Muhammad) are of a great morality.

SHAKIR:

1-4) Noon. I swear by the pen and what the angels write, by the grace of your Lord you are not mad. And most surely you shall have a reward never to be cut off. And most surely you conform (yourself) to sublime morality

PICKTHAL:

1-4) Nun. By the pen and that which they write (therewith), thou art not, for thy Lord’s favor unto thee, a madman. And lo! thine verily will be a reward unfailing. And lo! Thou art of a tremendous nature.

YUSUFALI:

1-4) Nun. By the pen and the (record) which (men) write,- thou art not, by the grace of thy Lord, mad or possessed. Nay, verily for thee is a reward unfailing: and thou (standest) on an exalted standard of character.

———————————

The verses 68:51-52 in different translations:

QARIB:

51-52) When the unbelievers hear the reminder, they nearly strike you down with their glances, and say: ‘surely, he is mad! ‘ But it is nothing other than a reminder for all the worlds.

SHAKIR:

51-52) And those who disbelieve would almost smite you with their eyes when they hear the reminder, and they say: most surely he is mad And it is naught but a reminder to the nations

PICKTHAL:

51-52) And lo! Those who disbelieve would fain disconcert thee with their eyes when they hear the reminder, and they say: lo! He is indeed mad; When it is naught else than a reminder to creation.

YUSUFALI:

51-52) And the unbelievers would almost trip thee up with their eyes when they hear the message; and they say: “surely he is possessed!” But it is nothing less than a message to all the worlds.

————————————

Many people do not know Allah. This series (1-61) is an attempt to help them to know their Creator.

The Verses 7:119-124 of the Noble Quran talk about:

1) the Egyptian sorcerers prostrated to Allah; for they knew the Truth and we Believe in Allah, the Lord of the Worlds,

2) Pharaoh Thought That He is the Lord of the Worlds,

3) Was There any Plot Between the Egyptian Sorcerers and Moses as Pharaoh Claimed?,

4) Pharaoh Cut off the Hands and the Feet of the Egyptian Sorcerers and

5) He Threatened to Crucify all of them

————————————

In the previous articles (55-57)

Moses said: O Pharaoh! I am a messenger from Allah to you,

Pharaoh said: You are lying!

Moses said: when talking about to Allah it is compulsory to say the truth. Truly I have come to you with a clear signs from Allah.

Pharaoh Said: If you have come with a sign, then produce it.

Then Moses cast down, he flung down his staff and it was an enormous huge snake manifest for all to see,

And he drew forth his hand, he took it out from his bosom (armpit), and it was white, radiant and shining for the beholders.

The chiefs of Pharaoh’s council said: Lo! this is some knowing wizard who is proficient in wizardry. Surely this man is a cunning sorcerer, outstanding in the art of magic. The aim of this man (Moses) is to expel you from your land of Egypt.  This was not true, the aim of Moses was to take the children of Israel out of Egypt.

Then Pharaoh said:

Now what do you advise? What we should do concerning this matter?

They said unto Pharaoh:

We should bring every cunning sorcerer, who is proficient in wizardry to outdo Moses in the art of magic.  And so they summoned many of the knowing wizards.

And the sorcerers who were 70 in number came to Pharaoh, and they said: Surely there will be a great reward for us if we are victors against Moses.

Pharaoh answered: Yes of course you have that, and surely you shall be of those brought near to me in status.

The Egyptian sorcerers (the black magicians) threw 70 staffs and 70 ropes, they cast a spell upon the people’s eyes, and overawed them scared them, and produced a mighty spell; they put a spell upon the people’s eyes, misleading them from perceiving the real state of these ropes and staffs, and overawed them, scared them, by making their ropes appear to be slithering snakes, and produced a mighty sorcery.

Allah inspired Moses (saying): Throw your staff!  And he threw it. And lo! it swallowed up their lying show, their staffs and ropes.  Then what?

————————————

The meaning of verse 7:119

The Egyptian sorcerers, as well as Pharaoh and his folk, were  defeated, humiliated and ended up abased. Moses was victorious against them.

The Egyptian sorcerers knew the Truth, it became clear that Moses was right and that which they were doing of sorcery was made vain.

The Egyptian sorcerers realized that Moses was right and that they are evil doers.

The meaning of verse 7:120

And the Egyptian sorcerers fell down prostrate to Allah; for they realized that what they had witnessed of the staff could not be done through sorcery.

it is also said that they prostrated themselves so fast, that it seemed as if they had fallen prostrate,

The meaning of verse 7:121

The Egyptian sorcerers cried and said: We believe in the Lord of the Worlds.

Pharaoh said: are you referring to me?

The meaning of verse 7:122

The Egyptian sorcerers said: The Lord of Moses and Aaron,

The meaning of verse 7:123

Pharaoh gets very angry at them.

Pharaoh said:

You believe in the Lord of Moses and Aaron before I give you leave, before I command you to do so!

Lo! this is the plot that you have plotted in the city between you and Moses; that you may expel its people from it by means of guile.

Then Pharaoh threatened them and said:

But you shall come to know, what I will do to you!

The meaning of verse 7:124

Pharaoh said:

I shall assuredly have your hands and feet cut off on opposite sides, that is, the right hand and the left foot of every one, then I shall have every one of you crucified; I shall crucify you every one. This was the punishment for anyone who does not believe that Pharaoh is the Lord of the Worlds!

————————————

The Verses 7:119-124 in different English translations of the meanings of Arabic Quran:

QARIB:

119-122) they were defeated and turned belittled, And the sorcerers prostrated themselves, saying: ‘we believe in the Lord of the worlds, The Lord of Moses and Aaron.

123-124) Pharaoh said: ‘do you believe in him before i permit? This is a plot that you have contrived in the city in order to expel its people from it. Now you shall know! I will cut off on opposite sides a hand and a foot, and then crucify you all! ‘

SHAKIR:

119-122) Thus they were vanquished there, and they went back abased,  And the enchanters were thrown down, prostrating (themselves) they said: we believe in the Lord of the worlds, The Lord of Musa and Haroun

123-124) Firon said: do you believe in him before i have given you permission? surely this is a plot which you have secretly devised in this city, that you may turn out of it its people, but you shall know: I will certainly cut off your hands and your feet on opposite sides, then will i crucify you all together

PICKTHAL:

119-122) thus were they there defeated and brought low. And the wizards fell down prostrate, crying: we believe in the Lord of the worlds, The Lord of Moses and Aaron.

123-124) Pharaoh said: ye believe in him before i give you leave! lo! This is the plot that ye have plotted in the city that ye may drive its people hence. but ye shall come to know! Surely i shall have your hands and feet cut off upon alternate sides. then i shall crucify you every one.

YUSUFALI:

119-122) So the (great ones) were vanquished there and then, and were made to look small. But the sorcerers fell down prostrate in adoration. Saying: “we believe in the Lord of the worlds,- “The Lord of Moses and Aaron.”

123-124) Said pharaoh: “believe ye in him before i give you permission? Surely this is a trick which ye have planned in the city to drive out its people: but soon shall ye know (the consequences). “Be sure i will cut off your hands and your feet on opposite sides, and i will cause you all to die on the cross.”

In Bible vs. Quran, Jesus denied that He is God (13) Greater than Jesus

In the Bible, the Lord Jesus says: the Father is greater than I. The Quran says that nothing is similar to Allah and none is greater than Allah; He is the greatest.

——————————————–

In the Bible, the Lord Jesus says in the verse John 14:28: “You have heard that I said to you: I go away, and I come unto you. If you loved me, you would indeed be glad, because I go to the Father: for (because) the Father is greater than I.”

Study of the verse John 14:28 in 40 different Bible’s versions in respect to “Greater than I” reveal that:

1) For (because) the Father is: Greater than I (in 20 versions), Greater than I am (in nine versions) and Greater than me (in one version)

2) In addition, seven versions say “for My Father is greater than I”; i.e. the father in the original Manuscript is replaced by “My father”

3) Moreover, two versions add (the underlined) words that are not found in the original Manuscript and are not mentioned in 38 versions; they say:

“For the Father is greater and mightier than I am” (Amplified Bible)

“My Father has greater power than I.” (Knox Bible)

Anyway, 39 0ut of 40 versions say that “the Father is greater than Jesus”

4) This means that one version says something else; this something else is certainly not the Word of God. If so, it has to be Forged or faked by the editor of this version.

Let us see what Jesus says in this version (The Message):

“I’m on my way to the Father because the Father is the goal and purpose of my life.”

Here, the editors of The Message intentionally forged this sentence:

“the Father is the goal and purpose of my life”

Well, 39 Bible’s versions confirm that God Father is Greater than Jesus.

This is the great teaching of the Lord Jesus that He wants us to believe in this great teaching that is “God is greater than Jesus“.

Jesus (peace be upon him) confirms this fact that is mentioned in John 14:28; in addition, Jesus told us beautiful words as a background to understand his teaching; He says in John 13:16:

“I am telling you the truth: no slaves are greater than their master, and no messengers are greater than the one who sent them.’

I invite the smart reader to put the words of John 14:28 and John 13:16 to figure out what our Lord Jesus mean.

For more details about John 13, Read the previous articles of this series.

——————————————–

On the other hand, the Quran says that nothing is similar to Allah and none is greater than Allah; He is the greatest and He is the Lord of the heavens, the earth and the entire worlds.

The verses 45:36-37 of the Quran in different translations

QARIB:

36) Praise, belongs to Allah, the Lord of the heavens and the earth, the Lord of the worlds.

37) His is the pride in the heavens and earth. He is the Almighty, the Wise.

SHAKIR:

36) Therefore to Allah is due (all) praise, the Lord of the heavens and the Lord of the earth, the Lord of the worlds

37) And to Him belongs greatness in the heavens and the earth, and He is the Mighty, the Wise

PICKTHAL:

36) Then praise be to Allah, Lord of the heavens and Lord of the earth, the Lord of the worlds.

37) And unto Him (alone) belongeth majesty in the heavens and the earth, and He is the Mighty, the Wise.

YUSUFALI:

36) Then praise be to Allah, Lord of the heavens and Lord of the earth,- Lord and cherisher of all the worlds!

37) To Him be glory throughout the heavens and the earth: and He is exalted in power, full of wisdom!

This is Allah (50) Allah’s Mercy is Near to the Righteous

Allah Does Not Love the Aggressors in Their Supplications

How To Call Upon Allah? Openly or in Secret; in Fear or in Hope?

Could Allah Have Created the Heavens and the Earth in an Instant Instead of Six Days?

Thorne in English and Arsh in Arabic

The Stars, the Sun, and the Moon Have Been Made Subservient by Allah’s Command

————————————————

This series is an attempt to help you to know  Allah your Creator.

Verses 7:54-56 of the Noble Quran talk about:

1) Allah’s Mercy is near to the righteous,

2) Allah does not love the aggressors in their supplications,

3) How to call upon Allah? Openly or in secret; in fear or in hope?,

4) Could Allah have created the heavens and the earth in an instant instead of six days? And

5) the stars, the sun, and the moon have been made subservient by Allah’s command.

————————————————

The meaning of verses 7:54-56

The meaning of verse 7:54

Surely your Lord is Allah, Who created the heavens and the earth in six days, each day the equivalent of a thousand years. Had He willed He could have created them in an instant; but the reason for His not having done so is that He wanted to teach His creatures to be circumspect.

Then Allah presided upon the Throne, a presiding befitting of Him.

He cloaks the night with the day, that is, He covers each one with the other: each following the other in swift pursuit, i.e. the day is in haste to follow the night and the night is in haste to follow the day,

And the sun and the moon and the stars have been made subservient, have been subdued, by His command, by His power.

His verily is all creation, the creation of the heavens and the earth (and what are between them) and His verily is all the commandments i.e. the judgment of people on the Day of Judgment.

Blessed, Magnified, be Allah, the Possessor of grace; it is also said that this means: elevated is Allah; as it is said that this means: far exalted is Allah, the Lord, the Master of the Worlds!

The meaning of verse 7:55

O mankind! Call upon your Lord respectfully openly and in secret.  In other words, call upon your Lord humbly, in subservience, and quietly, in secret. Truly, He does not love the aggressors, who are braggarts and loud-mouthed in their supplications.  In other words, He does not love the aggressors, in their supplications, by calling for that which is not permissible for them against the righteous.

The meaning of verse 7:56

And work not corruption in the land, through idolatry, sins and invitation to other than Allah and acts of disobedience, after it has been set right, as a result of the sending forth of messengers to it, and call upon Him, worship Him in fear, of His punishment and His torment, and in hope, of His mercy that you shall enter His Paradise. Surely the mercy of Allah is near to the virtuous, the obedient.  In other words, Lo! the mercy of Allah, the Paradise of Allah is nigh unto the good, the believers who are good in their words and works.

Verse 7:54

QARIB:

54) Your Lord is Allah, who, in six days created the heavens and the earth, and then willed to the throne. he throws the veil of night over the day. swiftly they follow one another. the sun, the moon, and the stars are compelled to his order. his is the creation, his is the command. blessed is Allah, the Lord of the worlds.

55) Supplicate to your Lord with humility and in secret. he does not love the transgressors.

56) Do not make mischief in the earth after it has been put right. pray to him with fear and hope; his mercy is near to the righteous.

SHAKIR:

54) Surely your Lord is Allah, who created the heavens and the earth in six periods of time, and he is firm in power; he throws the veil of night over the day, which it pursues incessantly; and (he created) the sun and the moon and the stars, made subservient by his command; surely his is the creation and the command; blessed is Allah, the Lord of the worlds

55) Call on your Lord humbly and secretly; surely he does not love those who exceed the limits

56) And do not make mischief in the earth after its reformation, and call on him fearing and hoping; surely the mercy of Allah is nigh to those who do good (to others)

PICKTHAL:

54) Lo! Your Lord is Allah who created the heavens and the earth in six days, then mounted he the throne. he covereth the night with the day, which is in haste to follow it, and hath made the sun and the moon and the stars subservient by his command. his verily is all creation and commandment. blessed be Allah, the Lord of the worlds!

55) (O mankind!) call upon your Lord humbly and in secret. lo! he loveth not aggressors.

56) Work not confusion in the earth after the fair ordering (thereof). and call on him in fear and hope. lo! the mercy of Allah is nigh unto the good.

YUSUFALI:

54) Your guardian-Lord is Allah, who created the heavens and the earth in six days, and is firmly established on the throne (of authority): he draweth the night as a veil o’er the day, each seeking the other in rapid succession: he created the sun, the moon, and the stars, (all) governed by laws under his command. is it not his to create and to govern? blessed be Allah, the cherisher and sustainer of the worlds!

55) Call on your Lord with humility and in private: for Allah loveth not those who trespass beyond bounds.

56) Do no mischief on the earth, after it hath been set in order, but call on him with fear and longing (in your hearts): for the mercy of Allah is (always) near to those who do good.

Chapter 6 of the Quran (118) Nobody Bears the Sin of Another

Shall I seek any other than Allah for a lord? He is the King of the kings and the LORD of the entire worlds.  No soul shall be taken to task for the sins of another soul; Then unto your Lord is your return after you die.

——————————————————————————————————

In the previous article, Submission to Allah was Abraham’s Religion and was the Religion Abraham’ descendants.

Allah commanded the last Prophet Muhammad to say unto mankind:

I am totally and absolutely submitted to Allah.

My worship, my prayers, my prostrations, my sacrifice, my devotions, are all for Allah,

My entire life, my entire activities, my entire deeds in this world is for for Allah,

He has no partner, no wife, no son, no daughter, and no equivalent. Nothing is equal or similar to Him. He is the Master of the Lords, the King of the kings, and the LORD of the entire worlds.

Ayah 6:164 says, after all of that say O Muhammad:

Shall I seek any other than Allah for a God?

Shall I seek any other than Allah for a lord?

Shall I worship other than Allah?

Surely, I shall not seek any other than Him, when He is the Lord and the Possessor of all things.

O mankind, remember that:

Every man commintting a sin is earning his sin only against himself.

And no burdened, no sinful soul shall bear the burden or the sin of another man.

No soul shall be taken to task for the sins of another soul

No soul will be tormented for committing no sin

Then unto your Lord is your return after you die

He will inform you of that over which you differed and make your religion different.

And He will tell you that wherein in Religion you differed and you contravened

—————————————————————-

The verses 6:164 in different translations

QARIB:

Say: ‘should i seek a lord other than Allah, who is the lord of all things? Every soul earns only to its account no soul shall bear another’s burden. Then to your lord you shall be returned, and he will inform you about that in which you differed. ‘

SHAKIR:

Say: what! shall i seek a lord other than Allah? and he is the lord of all things; and no soul earns (evil) but against itself, and no bewerer of burden shall bear the burden of another; then to your lord is your return, so he will inform you of that in which you differed

PICKTHAL:

Say: shall i seek another than Allah for lord, when he is lord of all things? Each soul earneth only on its own account, nor doth any laden bear another’s load. then unto your lord is your return and he will tell you that wherein ye differed.

YUSUFALI:

Say: “shall i seek for (my) cherisher other than Allah, when he is the cherisher of all things (that exist)? Every soul draws the meed of its acts on none but itself: no bewerer of burdens can bear of burdens can bear the burden of another. your goal in the end is towards Allah: he will tell you the truth of the things wherein ye disputed.”

Chapter 6 of the Quran (117) All Messengers = One Message

This was, and still is, Muhammad’s message to mankind.  This was also the message of all the messengers, sent by Allah, to their people. This was the message of Noah, Hud, Saleh, Abraham, Lot, Ishmael, Isaac, Jacob, Joseph, Shu’aib, Moses, David, Solomon, Elias, Jonah, Jesus,

——————————————————————————————————

In the previous article, Submission to Allah was Abraham’s Religion and was the Religion Abraham’ descendants.

Back to the original Abraham and his descendants’ Religion, Ayah 6:162-163 say:

Say O Muhammad, to the Jews, to the Christians and to mankind:

Lo! my worship, my five daily prayers , my rituals, my sacrifice, my devotions, in the way of pilgrimage and otherwise, and my living (my life), and my dying (my death) were all for Allah, the Lord of the Worlds.

In short, my entire life, my entire activities, my entire deeds in this world were for the sake of the obedience and pleasure of Allah; the Master and the King of the entire worlds.

§  He has no partner.

§  He has no wife.

§  He has no son.

§  He has no daughter.

§  He has no equivalent.

§  Nothing is equal or similar to Him.

I am commanded to believe in Him,

I am the first (among my people) of those who submit unto Him

I am the first (among my people) of those who sincerely worship Him and confess His divine Oneness.

Every one of those great Messengers and Prophet clearly conveyed this message unto his people.

SHAKIR:

162) say. surely my prayer and my sacrifice and my life and my death were (all) for Allah, the lord of the worlds;

163) no associate has he; and this am i command ed, and i am the first of those who submit

PICKTHAL:

162) say: lo! My worship and my sacrifice and my living and my dying were for Allah, lord of the worlds.

163) he hath no partner. This am i commanded, and i am first of those who surrender (unto him).

YUSUFALI:

162) say: “truly, my prayer and my service of sacrifice, my life and my death, were (all) for Allah, the cherisher of the worlds:

163) no partner hath he: this am i command ed, and i am the first of those who bow to his will.

Allah Asks you (29) will you then submit to Allah’ Will?

Allah Says that Muhammad is a Mercy to all the worlds

Satan says the opposite!

where are you in this crucial issue?

Only Allah Knows when the Day of Resurrection is

————————————————-

In the Noble Quran, Allah is asking mankind some important questions.

It seems compulsory for the serious one who is looking for the truth to have a look at those questions and if possible to answer them.

Allah’ questions are many. In this series, these questions are chosen randomly.

Allah is asking mankind this question: Say: it is only revealed to me that your God is one, Allah; will you then submit? But if they turn back, say: I have given you warning in fairness; although I do not know whether nigh or far that which you are promised of chastisement is with respect to the Day of Resurrection that comprises this chastisement; only Allah knows it.

————————————————-

The question in this article is to all the disbelievers:

Say: it is only revealed to me that your God is one, Allah; will you then submit? But if they turn back, say: I have given you warning in fairness; although I do not know whether nigh or far that which you are promised of chastisement is with respect to the Day of Resurrection that comprises this chastisement; only Allah knows it.

If you submit yourself to Allah then you are a Muslim and if not, you are not.

You totally have the freedom of belief, but are you ready for the “Hour”?

————————————————-

Verses 21:107-110 give the question of this article and talk about it

The meanings of Verses 21:107-110

Verse 21:107 says:

We did not send you O Muhammad, except as a mercy to all the worlds, the worlds of mankind and jinn through you; that shields from chastisement for the peoples from among the Jinn, humans and all those who believe in you; it is also said that mercy here means blessing.

Herein, there is a very important question:

Allah, the Creator of the worlds says that He sent Muhammad as a mercy to all the worlds.

On the other hand, Satan and his hosts say the opposite.

Well, where are you in this crucial issue?

Verse 21:108 says:

Say O Muhammad: It is inspired unto me in this Quran that your God is One; Allah Who has no children or partners.  So will you submit?

Will you then surrender unto Him?

will you accede to affirming the Oneness of the Divine that is being revealed to me?

will you then believe and be sincere in your worship and profession of Allah’s divine Oneness!

Verse 21:109 says:

If you submit yourself to Allah then you are a Muslim and if not, you are not.

You totally have the freedom of belief, but are you ready for the “Hour”?

But if they turn away from faith and sincerity, then say to them, O Muhammad:

I have warned you, I have informed you, and as such you and I have become all alike both of us are openly aware of the matter and there is no secret, that is to say, you are all equal in having knowledge of this: I shall not proceed independently without having first informed you, in order for you to make preparations, although I do not know whether nigh or far that which you are promised of chastisement is with respect to the Day of Resurrection that comprises this chastisement; only Allah knows it.

Verse 21:110 says:

Indeed He, exalted be He, knows whatever is spoken aloud, and what you and others do, and He knows what you conceal, both you and others, of secrets of words and deeds, just as He knows the time of your chastisement.

————————————————-

Verses 21:107-110 in different translations:

QARIB:

107) We have not sent you (Prophet Muhammad) except as a mercy to all the worlds.

108) Say: ‘it is revealed to me that your god is one god, do you then surrender? ‘

109) If they turn back, say: ‘I have warned you all alike, though I cannot tell whether what you are promised is imminent or distant.

110) He knows your spoken words and what you hide.

SHAKIR:

107) And we have not sent you but as a mercy to the worlds

108) Say: it is only revealed to me that your Allah is one Allah; will you then submit?

109) But if they turn back, say: I have given you warning in fairness and I do not know whether what you are threatened with is near or far;

110) Surely he knows what is spoken openly and he knows what you hide;

PICKTHAL:

107) We sent thee not save as a mercy for the peoples.

108) Say: it is only inspired in me that your Allah is one Allah. will ye then surrender (unto him)?

109) But if they are averse, then say: I have warned you all alike, although I know not whether nigh or far is that which ye are promised.

110) Lo! he knoweth that which is said openly, and that which ye conceal.

YUSUFALI:

107) We sent thee not, but as a mercy for all creatures.

108) Say: “what has come to me by inspiration is that your Allah is one Allah: will ye therefore bow to his will (in islam)?”

109) But if they turn back, say: “I have proclaimed the message to you all alike and in truth; but I know not whether that which ye are promised is near or far.

110) “It is he who knows what is open in speech and what ye hide (in your hearts).
